“We came in from Virginia Beach for a project for work. Work bestie & I were hungry, it was a Saturday morning.Your establishment was busy. We came in to make a to-go order.We were treated VERY KINDLY!!! even though ya'll were busy & your booths were full. We were treated EQUALLY & clearly not just for the tips!!Not to mention the food was ABSOLUTELY ON POINT!!! everything was cooked to perfection!! I do NOT have one complaint, other than ya'll are too far away.Keep up the EXCELLENT ESTABLISHMENT!!!!!“

Service has 3 stars because the employee who took our order didn't tell me about service fee for using a debit card.Price for food is expensive especially when adding a service fee.I will eat here again but only every so many months due to price.“

“I have been to every first watch in the Hampton roads region. The Newport News location has the best staff and most consistent food each time. I go daily each morning at 7:00 and it’s always a positive experience. The servers are polite, responsive, and friendly.“

“Great beer, great burgers, great people all in all. I got the bourbon and brew burger with tater tots and it was arguably one of the most delicious burgers I’ve ever had. Also really like the idea for you to serve yourself however much beer you’d like and pay by the ounce. They’ve also got some board games at the front so you can hang out and relax with some friends. Definitely will be back soon“

“Found this place on our way to Busch Gardens and I am so glad we did. Best Cheesesteak I have ever had. I got the Hot and Spicy Cheesesteak with sweet and spicy peppers, jalapenos, onion, green peppers, and mushrooms. Fast and amazing service. our waitress was very nice and helped us with our order. A must go back the next time we are in the state.“

“We ate here for the first time and had great food, drinks and service. Everything was made perfectly and we loved that they had a number of ciders on tap. Everything was great except the atmosphere. There is no atmosphere to speak of. We expected some sort of pub style atmosphere but it is nothing of the sort. Just a converted strip mall spot with high ceilings and bland decor.I still loved the food and would go again, but it is severely lacking for cool atmosphere.“
“Always have a great time here. Food is really good and the service is friendly. Pick a comedian you like and reserve ahead . It's easy.It's seems to be owned by a sweet little old lady and her husband. They're apparently doing it right cause the place was packed and there were only two severs, and Everybody seemed to be having a great time.“

A well priced location with a solid menu and sense of specials.For its size, there's plenty of seating while keeping a sense of openness. Inside the facility, smoking is prohibited, but smokers are compensated with the availability of going out front of the lounge area out back; an environment made well optimized.“

“Overall this hotel was really nice, clean and wonderful staff. I would recommend this hotel. The only problem was, the toilet was loud when flushing. It was a 20-30 minute drive to Virginia Beach. Which was fine. I stay at this hotel again. It may not be ocean front, but it's clean, comfortable and affordable.“

“Hi Kipp, I wish you were here when I visited today. This was the 1st fine dining place that I've been to where I received multiple calls before coming. 1st call to ask me if I was really coming because it was a busy night with CNU graduating and wanting me to put down a credit card to hold my reservation but changed your mind. 2nd call to ask again if I was coming and to 'set the expectation for the night' advising that you are only a 40 seater restaurant and you want to set your table 3 times a night. So if I could make sure to come on time and not linger longer than 7pm because you have my table booked. Well, I can honestly say that was a 1st. I spoke to other guest while waiting for the restaurant to open to see if they had the same experience. They got multiple calls but weren't asked for a credit card. I did hear another table asking James what happens if they are not done by 7 pm. So James had a table outside cleaned off so that they could finish their coffee and dessert outside. Anyway, food was okay. I'm not sure I could fully enjoy it because of the anxiety of looking at the time. We do a lot of fine dining, so I'm not sure I would rush back since I came in from out of town. The staff you had here tonight was night very friendly andon point. Maybe you could soften your customer service approach for future guests.In my normal reviews I spend more time describing the food. Instead I was more focused on your customer service approach.“
