“While having car serviced at a nearby dealership found this gem tucked away in a quiet spot and walked over to give it a try. Very welcoming staff, quick service and the food was delicious. Decided to use hot vs Thai hot and was perfect for my taste with room for those that enjoy the real heat as well! Good selection of food and drink on the menu and will be back in the future when in the area!“

“Harpoon Larry’s is a fun bar! Erin was our bartender and she is EXCELLENT!! She kept us supplied with oyster shots and beverages, spent a few minutes talking to us, all while managing the bar that day. The seafood is great, the atmosphere was friendly, and we had a great time!“

“I love this restaurant! The owner is so friendly and she makes me feel like family every time I visit. I always order the Chicken Biryani and it’s always delicious! I love that the portion sizes are big enough for me to make two meals out of the one entree. It also has a beautiful atmosphere if you decide to dine inside!“

“Delicious, authentic meal! Had this and the hot appetizer sampler platter. The seasonings were absolutely touching to the taste buds. All three meats on the kabob platter were marinated and tender. Highly recommend this little treasure in Newport News. The man (I’m assuming the owner) who served us was so nice and informative about the food of his culture. Thank you so much! Also that green sauce in this picture was absolutely my favorite!!!“

“My family told me I had to try CAVA and it was amazing. The online menu is a little overwhelming if younhavent been there before, BUT when inside you will see a set up very similar to *hipotle in that you are picking from groups of foods. The staff let me sample and answered my questions. The food was fresh, hearty, and delicious.“

“I have been to every first watch in the Hampton roads region. The Newport News location has the best staff and most consistent food each time. I go daily each morning at 7:00 and it’s always a positive experience. The servers are polite, responsive, and friendly.“

“This restaurant has become my wife's and my choice for a dinner out in Newport News. The food is excellent. They have the best gimbap, bibim nengmyeon, and samgyupsal in the 757 in my opinion. The service is quick, they play a mix of kpop and ballads in the background, and the banchan is top tier. A true hidden diamond.“

“Love their chicken. You can't beat it with stick. When you're hungry and don't have a whole of change. These people great!! Gas too is cheap to 2.08 a gallon ?come on now!!! It doesn't get any better I'm telling you you want to save money this is the place to go to fill your belly and your tank. Cigarettes however are very high priced here. But who needs to smoke anyway? It's. Bad for you.“

“So I swear VB Korean and Korean around here are DIFFERENT !!! The bugolgi around here (Yorktown , NN) are always thick cut slices of meat so it's great if you like that! I got two orders of bulgogi at Bob-Bob and it's super thin bugolgi which is what I wanted ! A little sweeter than what I like but I still enjoyed it . LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THE HOT SAUCE THAT CAME WITH IT. TOP TIER, BUSSIN'. It heightens the dish to sweet, and savory. The portion per one is big too. Enough for me to eat it as two meals but that hot sauce, mmmmmmmmmmm, heightened it so much that I ate the whole thing. 10/10 they'll see me again“

“With the unlimited sips club, Panera Bread has become my go-to for doing a cafe meetup with my kids or husband. It is now my homebase for writing my upcoming book. I love that I can sit and sip on their delicious beverages while writing, especially the dark roast and the charged up cold drinks. So delicious! The bread bowls are quite the reward to help motivate me to finish my next writing goal. I have fallen in love with this place! I love the unique chairs and sometimes the warm fire place.“

“The best Chinese Buffet I have found on the peninsula. The food is pretty consistent here, and the staff are always friendly. They have Sushi and Mongolian options along with a Salad and Fruit bar. There are nuggets, fries and mac & cheese options for the picky kiddos. There are good Chinese food options as well as some Seafood options if you like that. My hubby raves on their Spareribs. My daughter is fond on the Mongolian since she can make her own creation. You can't beat it for the price for all you can eat. I would recommend.“
