“Hi Kipp, I wish you were here when I visited today. This was the 1st fine dining place that I've been to where I received multiple calls before coming. 1st call to ask me if I was really coming because it was a busy night with CNU graduating and wanting me to put down a credit card to hold my reservation but changed your mind. 2nd call to ask again if I was coming and to 'set the expectation for the night' advising that you are only a 40 seater restaurant and you want to set your table 3 times a night. So if I could make sure to come on time and not linger longer than 7pm because you have my table booked. Well, I can honestly say that was a 1st. I spoke to other guest while waiting for the restaurant to open to see if they had the same experience. They got multiple calls but weren't asked for a credit card. I did hear another table asking James what happens if they are not done by 7 pm. So James had a table outside cleaned off so that they could finish their coffee and dessert outside. Anyway, food was okay. I'm not sure I could fully enjoy it because of the anxiety of looking at the time. We do a lot of fine dining, so I'm not sure I would rush back since I came in from out of town. The staff you had here tonight was night very friendly andon point. Maybe you could soften your customer service approach for future guests.In my normal reviews I spend more time describing the food. Instead I was more focused on your customer service approach.“

“I have been to every first watch in the Hampton roads region. The Newport News location has the best staff and most consistent food each time. I go daily each morning at 7:00 and it’s always a positive experience. The servers are polite, responsive, and friendly.“

“I ordered the famous chiles rellenos ($12.99) to go for dinner which consisted of 2 poblano peppers stuffed with cheese and rice and beans on the side. They were delicious. Plus, I was given chips and homeade salsa with my to go order which I did not expect. I loved the garlicky salsa and the chips were very fresh. This is the best Mexican food I've had in Newport News, VA.Vegetarian options: Various vegetarian lunch menu dishes and dinner menu items. I'm not a vegetarian, but the first time I eat anywhere I prefer vegetarian options. I feel if you can't do veggies right, there might be problems. Chichuahua's food is VERY good. I look forward to going back.“

“Found this place on our way to Busch Gardens and I am so glad we did. Best Cheesesteak I have ever had. I got the Hot and Spicy Cheesesteak with sweet and spicy peppers, jalapenos, onion, green peppers, and mushrooms. Fast and amazing service. our waitress was very nice and helped us with our order. A must go back the next time we are in the state.“

“Absolutely terrific food! I ordered from here today on the recommendation of a coworker. I was very happily surprised! I had General Tso's chicken with pork fried rice and an eggroll. I wouldn't change a single thing. Everything was hot, and the veggies in the rice and eggroll were fresh and not cooked into a soggy, tasteless mound. It was reasonably priced too. It's a little off the beaten track but now that I know it's there, I'll be there frequently. I'm looking forward to working my way through the menu!“

“This restaurant has become my wife's and my choice for a dinner out in Newport News. The food is excellent. They have the best gimbap, bibim nengmyeon, and samgyupsal in the 757 in my opinion. The service is quick, they play a mix of kpop and ballads in the background, and the banchan is top tier. A true hidden diamond.“

“I love this restaurant! I come to the Newport News location even though it’s further from my house, because they’re so lovely there and the food is always very good. My husband’s obsessed. We love the drunken noodles, and the curries are solid. The beef salad and coconut soup were also good! They’re really good about adjusting the spice level too. Also one time I spilled my Thai iced tea all over the floor and the guy was super super nice about it!“

“We stopped on our way out of Virginia Beach 10 years ago, and loved it so much we wanted to stop again some time. So 10 years later, we stopped again. Same nice lady and good food we remembered. Nothing fancy, just good food and genuinely nice people who appreciate your business. We’ll look forward to stopping again, hopefully not quite as long this time!“

“I ordered a family meal. The general tso chicken was very good, enjoyed the heat and it wasn’t overly salty. I liked that there was a choice of rice! The hibachi was delicious, vegetables fresh, crisp and the meat tender. The chicken soba noodles were excellent with a nice ratio of meat and noodles but a little salty. The last item in the family meal was egg rolls. They were crispy but not a fan of the mushy inside. That won’t stop me from ordering their food again. I’m a fan!“

“word of advice. togo drinks should have less ice than normal drinks being made at the establishment. who would want to pay for mostly ice and no refills. the food was good. fried shrimp mediocre the FIRST few times i tried them but this last time they were phenomenal. kids meals are fairly priced while everything else is a little bit inflated but i would say eh it's fair for the market rn. whiting was yummy. tartar sauce tho not house made is good shack pack was a great deal and super yummy. i think i just needed to try it a few more times“

“So I swear VB Korean and Korean around here are DIFFERENT !!! The bugolgi around here (Yorktown , NN) are always thick cut slices of meat so it's great if you like that! I got two orders of bulgogi at Bob-Bob and it's super thin bugolgi which is what I wanted ! A little sweeter than what I like but I still enjoyed it . LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THE HOT SAUCE THAT CAME WITH IT. TOP TIER, BUSSIN'. It heightens the dish to sweet, and savory. The portion per one is big too. Enough for me to eat it as two meals but that hot sauce, mmmmmmmmmmm, heightened it so much that I ate the whole thing. 10/10 they'll see me again“
