“Beautiful atmosphere and great service. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because the ribeye steak was not good. It was served cut in multiple pieces and swimming in the “Sauce au Poivre.” Any flavor of the steak was completely lost due to the soup it was in.Other members of my party had better luck with their main course selection. The Halibut was devine. Ranks with some of the best meals I’ve ever had. The scallops were perfection. The chef blended flavors SO well. I also recommend the duck. It is served with vegetables that complement the meat so well.The desserts were fantastic- very complex flavors and well done. Order the chocolate martini! You won’t regret it.Overall a great place for a special occasion.“

“We were shopping at Norfolk Premium outlet mall and stopped by for dinner at No Frill Bar and Grill. We didn't have to wait long for our table , the food were large portions with good prices . my husband food was ok ( he is a picky eater), but mine and my son's were delicious and the waitress ( sorry I forgot her name )was very sweet and attentive , we will come back to try other dishes again when we are in the area .“

“Best crab cakes I’ve had in all of Norfolk. Every time I have eaten here my dish has been amazing. I know their menu changes depending on their specials but the seafood gumbo was delicious and their rockfish special was some of the best white fish I’ve ever had at a restaurant. And every time we go we get the oysters as a starter and they never disappoint. The seafood they serve is high quality, service and atmosphere are great. This place is a hidden gem in Ocean View.“

“We squeaked in just in time for a couple happy hour orders! We enjoyed both the dumplings and meatballs from the small plates menu. Then ordered sandwiches for dinner. The food was great & service was nice. The ambience was amazing, we sat by these big bay windows & it was perfect. The food was great! The other entrees look amazing as well but we're significantly more money, so we stuck with the sandwiches and we're happy! Definitely a great date night or happy hour spot!“

“It is about time the base did something with this place. I forget when built but I've been around the NSN area for like 17 years and now they have a local bar that isn't beers at Pizza hut?! Great atmosphere and the hostesses were very nice! Typical bar food and good selection of beers. Don't start serving tacos on Tuesday or you're gonna make me come here instead of my usual spot. Hopefully MWR keeps this place going until it gain traction as a popular spot.“

“This was my first time here. First person I talked to was security about where I could park. I parked in the section she was at and she walked me up to the door, told me who to see and to have a great time. I had a great time! I had two great waitresses Brittny and Cris. But to have someone walk me to the door and explain everything, I knew I made the right choice. Oh she said get the prime rib or steak…the security lady. I got the prime rib, boy she was right on everything!“

But very expensive for the amount of food you get I paid about $60 for my 3 items which was a bread pudding with two pieces of bacon and ice cream, quiche and salad, and a toast with salmon that I ordered to go. “I stopped by Cafe James for an early lunch. They're tucked inside a office building close to Sentara Leigh. When I walked in the owners greeted me. They were both very nice. The restaurant isn't big but has a good amount of seating if you want to dine in. They serve sandwiches, cakes, cookies, croffles, salads, and etc. The prices are pretty reasonable as well!!! I ordered the turkey and provolone sub (hot) and a croffle. The sub was $8.70 which was good. The croffle was $5. Now although they prices are good, $5 for a small croffle is steep to me. The cream and cookies on top were good, but the croffle itself was tough to chew. I wish it was better, but maybe it was an off day... The sub was really good. It had a good amount of melted cheese and meat. The bread was soft and I enjoyed it. They have a lunch box deal with a sandwich, chips, a cookie, and chips for $11.99. Whooo hooo!!! They have a good amount of choices on the menu. The customer service is good, and you get quick service. Check them out!!!“

“We were the first customers for the evening, and the place was quiet. Service was decent, we had a waitress in training. No issues, just took a while to come back to get our food order, after our drink and appetizer orders were taken and delivered. We ordered the octopus, fried green tomatoes and she-crab soup, all were delicious and tasty. For entrees we ordered the short ribs and the steak, they were well plated and garnished. And the steak melted in my mouth.. I have no complaints!!“

We had the Kale Salad,Salmon Bites, Hot Honey Chicken Sliders, Tuscan Pasta with Chicken and Blackened Salmon.The restaurant was a bit loud but the food was the best. We recommend everthing that we ate. We were given plastic silverware which for the price of the food we did ask for regular silverware which was provided quickly.“

“I'll be completely honest, The Harbor Inn is a sleeper !! they havent missed yet ! So serious They just keep impressing me everytime i stop in.Gina and her staff are absolutely amazing, They all make u feel welcome ..You def get that family vibe here ... My husband and I have struggled finding a family friendly place to eat that's not a franchise and the same old crap. This place cooks with love. “Cute coffeeshop in the heart of ODU. I was in the area during my lunch break and decided to give a new coffee shop a try, and Yelp led me to this place. When I walked in, I was greeted right away. When I approached the counter to order, I did what I normally do when trying a new place, I asked the employees what they recommended, and they were happy to share their favorite drinks choices with me. I decided to try the Apple Jack Chai, which was one of the drink specials. Their drink sizes to me seem smaller than the average coffee shop, but I am ok with that because I feel like our portion sizes are crazy anyway, lol. When I received my drink, I loved that they gave it to me with the top off so I could see what I was getting. I took one sip, and I was like, "This is good," Then I took another sip, and I said "wow this is really good." It wasn't overly sweet, and all the flavors that you love in a chai (cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, etc) were all perfectly balanced and played very well with the apple flavor. As I was driving back to work, I only had one regret.....I honestly wished I ordered a medium, it was that good. I will defienly be returning to Borjo Coffeehouse again to try some more of their drinks.“

I always utilize their weekly meal plans to get me through the week. The meal plan menu always features an amazing variety of tasty options with outstanding portions and nutrition. The staff is kind, courteous and polite. The cafe menu has a wide variety of options, and is of excellent quality. My favorite dish is the Arnold Wrap (so delicious!). They also offer coffee drinks, smoothies and snacks. Cannot recommend this place enough!Parking: Multiple parking spots directly in front of restaurant and to either side of restaurant.Kid-friendliness: The staff is very helpful and courteous. The location is spacious and always very clean.“
