“We were in Norfolk for an Airport Pass, went to Selden Market for coffee. Aldy was very helpful with exactly what we wanted. Her coffee was superb, macaroons excellent, and she suggested the best way to say "Norfolk" without sounding profane!“

“I stopped by Cafe James for an early lunch. They're tucked inside a office building close to Sentara Leigh. When I walked in the owners greeted me. They were both very nice. The restaurant isn't big but has a good amount of seating if you want to dine in. They serve sandwiches, cakes, cookies, croffles, salads, and etc. The prices are pretty reasonable as well!!! I ordered the turkey and provolone sub (hot) and a croffle. The sub was $8.70 which was good. The croffle was $5. Now although they prices are good, $5 for a small croffle is steep to me. The cream and cookies on top were good, but the croffle itself was tough to chew. I wish it was better, but maybe it was an off day... The sub was really good. It had a good amount of melted cheese and meat. The bread was soft and I enjoyed it. They have a lunch box deal with a sandwich, chips, a cookie, and chips for $11.99. Whooo hooo!!! They have a good amount of choices on the menu. The customer service is good, and you get quick service. Check them out!!!“

“i've lived in norfolk for 10 years and cafe milo by far is my favorite restaurant. i first ordered off of doordash and the food was phenomenal, but the other day i ate there w/my best friend and the vibe and customer service eating in was unmatched!! sitting at the bar while the chef cooks was an experience in itself! so much good conversation and the experience felt like a chefs tasting! ive never ate anything bad from cafe milo and tell people about their lambchops, their vegan dishes, and the mimosas and their BLT is everything! cafe milo does NOT miss!“
