“Hidden gem like what the reviews mentioned. The staff is kind and friendly especially the lady up front. The second time we came here, she remembered us instantly and even our orders. The food is delicious and came out quickly. The restaurant is pretty clean, as well. In terms of parking, it's pretty tough since it's downtown but sometimes we get lucky and find a couple of empty parking spots. Definitely one of our new go-to.“

“This is my 'go to' and favorite place to get Chinese food in Norfolk, VA. My food is always delicious and the portions are large. You will definitely have leftovers for the next day. Owners are friendly and pleasant. The restaurant was closed during the summer months, while they were away on vacation. During their absence, I didn't eat at any other Chinese restaurant. The restaurant is located across the street from Booker T. Washington High School. It is a busy and transient area, so the restaurant stays pretty busy. I usually call ahead, so my food is ready when I arrive.“

“Super China has been my go-to spot for Chinese in Norfolk for over a decade. The general tso's chicken combo with pork fried rice and an egg roll (pictured) is my absolute fave and is only $12. The chicken lo mein is also very tasty.This place is takeout only with a large menu. Canned beverages are available for purchase as well.Parking: Super China is located in a strip shopping center with plenty of parking spots.“

“I enjoyed my visit here! I decided to try this place out with a friend of mine who is vegan and I was happy to see that there were many options for him! It's most certainly a beautiful low-key place walking in and had a nice ambience. We were seated immediately after walking in which was great! The service was cool but could have been a bit better. Now the food was amazing! I ordered the shrimp deluxe with white rice and was thoroughly impressed! It was well seasoned and the portion size was great for the price. I'd highly recommend this place and look forward to returning!“

“This is not a restaurant you could eat inside. Sometimes the food takes longer than estimated, however, the food is always delicious. Best chinese food in this city. Get the tea and dilute it. ( add half tea half water in a cup.) Best iced tea. I noticed most chinese restaurants gravy taste like cigarettes. But at China Hut, the gravy tastes like gravy. Best egg foo young.“

“Menu is pretty much the same as all other Chinese carry out places; quality is good, although I think there is less meat in the combinations than other places; but I like veggies anyway so not a big deal. We go there for lunch or dinner about once a week or so. Prices are slightly higher than the competition, but not enough different to make an issue of it thanks to the quality.“

“Although this is NOT a dine in restaurant, the food is great! To an extent it's all made fresh (example: egg rolls are pre rolled, but are cooked fresh when ordered, not waiting under a heat lamp). A huge plus for me is that they do not use MSG either, I've never gotten "that" headache after eating here. Don't try once and make a decision, one meal will not flood out a lifetime of flavors from other restaurants, however I'll bet you that after your second meal, you'll be convinced this is your NEW Chinese Restaurant. There was also I police presence in the parking lot which made me feel a little more secure due to the time of night it was. The food was great. It's either hit or miss when it comes to Chinese food.
