We arrived and the place smelled great but and the food was good but the service was subpar, our server Raymond was nice while taking our order unfortunately they booth he sat us at was broken which and the two very large ladies on the other side where constantly bouncing the back to the point where I couldn’t lean back at all so before our hot pot arrived he was made aware of the situation in which he said they were busy and he would try to find a different booth so I showed him a clear booth in sight. And he said that one was about to be sat so I found another booth that was open and made him aware of that at what point he blew me off and told me there was nothing he could do they were busy. This is Raymond the server. At which point I have to go to the hostess to find a manager and make him aware of the situation at what point I would have just left but I have my in-laws with me and wanted to make sure they had a good last night in town. After I make the manager aware he quickly moves us to a open booth nearby ironically the same booth I was told was unavailable moments before by the server. And then my embarrassed sister and her boyfriend get to move all of our food that has now been delivered because our first two requests were ignored. Thank you KPOT for ruining my in-laws last night in town. I won’t be back and I will make sure your poor service is known in Norfolk! I also filled out contract information when it was over but I doubt they will reach out to me after all the inconvenience they didn’t offer any discounts or accommodations what a stand up business!
Just spent the afternoon at KPOT in Norfolk and it was one of the BEST MEALS I have had in a long time!! It was actually a food experience with being able to cook your own food to your taste, but the food was incredible!!! You have to try this place out, you will NOT be disappointed!! Bring a BIG appetite, you will eat a lot and it is sooooo worth the money!!
