We went to Poquoson Diner yesterday which was an especially busy day. Been there for breakfast many times but they had three large parties and yet the servers were just delightful. not once in the midst of the crowded restaurant was any of them complaining, always had smiles on their faces, and genuinely served everyone with a true sense of southern hospitality. Visited today. Hamburger was good, but the fries were nothing short of terrible. Long, thin, limp and cold. We ate 3 between us. Waitress picked up our plate, still full of fries and never asked about it. I’ve been here before and thought it was good, but today…

If you want a good home-cooked style meal, this place is great. Found it by chance at work and I'm a regular now. Great food, great service. Definitely recommend. Can't go wrong with breakfast.
