“I love this secret spot in Portsmouth!! If you are looking for a local business owner to support, this one is it!! The servers are nice and pleasant! Even though they are a brunch spot that closes at 3pm on Sunday's (wish it was 5pm for the after church crew), they treat you with respect and provide you with fresh food even at 230pm! They made my daughter's 18th birthday brunch a great experience! My 10 yr old gave them a 10 out of 10! Clean and classy environment too!! It's five stars for me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“This was my first time here, my best friend brought me, and it was amazing! Amazing in all capital letters! He’s gluten-free, so those choices were beyond belief. I’m just kind of picky…… But of the five things we tried, absolutely nothing disappointed! And the price was very reasonable and the service was fabulous!“

“This is definitely a locals bar with a fun and friendly atmosphere. We were there specifically to hear the band. There are lots of tv's, a big bar and tables and some electronic dart boards. This is the kind of place that everyone knows your name. Loved it. We had good service - maybe a tad slow but they were getting busy and she was training someone. We ordered the teriyaki wings and chicken basket. My husband said the wings were really good. And they were big and juicy. Another couple joined us and we shared and they said the same thing. No less then orders of 10. The chicken basket was just ok. The fries were cold and the chicken a bit overdone. The prices were reasonable too. I didn't feel like anything was overpriced. And they have a HH until 7. I think it's drinks only. No food specials....but I could be wrong. If you like a good, locals bar then stop in. Nothing fancy. I think my husband and I will be returning again.“

“Security was very professional and respectful, I really appreciated that. It is good to have customer service before you even enter the establishment. Our server was pleasant, and it didn't take long for our food to come out (very fresh and hot). The spinach was excellent, and the crab egg rolls were delicious. Salmon was really good, pasta wasn't what I expected, it was just fair. Drinks were on point.“

“My husband and I went to Admiral's to celebrate our 38th anniversary.Everyone from the host at the front door who took our reservation to all the servers who waited on us were very friendly and accommodating.Big shout out to Shannon our main server she was excellent, friendly, knowledgeable, and patiently answered all of our questions, which was a lot, since it was our first time eating there.The ambience is so inviting and beautiful, it is the perfect place for celebrating any occasion.Now for the food!Everything we ordered was delicious, seasoned to perfection, hot, and came out in a timely manner which I love!Loved their complimentary assorted bread basket with 3 different spreads. Our favorite bread was the jalapeno cheddar cheese called the "innocent bystander" and the maple butter spread. They were so good hubby ordered a basket of just those to take home. The first bread basket is free, but you pay for the next one, which we didn't mind because they were just that good! ?For appetizers I had the table side caesar salad, so delicious hubby had the lollipop lamb chops.For our entrees I had the lollipop lamb chops (oh my goodness)!! beer battered onion rings (the best I've ever had), and sweet potato praline,It tasted just like my sweet potato souffle, absolutely delicious!Hubby had the entree sized lamb chops, crab cake, and lobster mac&cheese. We didn't have any room for dessert, but if I did it would have been their key lime pie!Our experience at Admiral's was outstanding.If I had one little critique, it was that the bathrooms are outside of the restaurant like at the movies.Other than that we say BRAVO!??Y'all have got to give this place a try!! “Nice place to visit with friends. They have happy hour specials and really great wings. The music was LOUD, but if you're there to dance, go for it!!! Overall, it's a really nice and mature crowd. Recommend for an evening out with friends.“

“We stopped at Griff's to celebrate Saint Patty's Day and MEAC. We did not eat this time even though I've previously had their food and can say it's decent bar food. The Chef Lonnie wings are amazing. A play on a sweet and spicy wing. They had Saint Patty Day drink specials which included $5 Jameson shots and $5 Green tea shots. I was sold! They also featured a list of specialty drinks specifically for Saint Patrick's Day. The Orange Irish Mule was amazing! It's spacious on the inside with pool tables on one side. They also offer smoking outside on the patio“
