“We were in town visiting for a conference, and we found the restaurant online. We headed to the restaurant, but when we got there the owner explained that the restaurant had just closed for the evening. He gave us a few recommendations on other places to eat, and we started to search for an Uber. A few minutes later, the owner, Tysean, opened the door and offered to go back in the kitchen and cook something for us. We couldn’t pass that offer up. We waited for a few minutes, and he brought us out some of the best chicken I’ve eaten in a long time along with some, nicely seasoned potato wedges and hot buttery honey biscuits. Along with some honey mustard dipping sauce and sweet tea to wash it all down, we had an amazing meal. I’ll definitely be back, and you should visit if you are in Richmond.“

“This is one of my first or last stops when I come home to Virginia. I always purchase extra potato wedges to freeze and bring back to New York. There are no potato wedges like them. My mom and I came here because we couldn't think of anything to have for dinner that we wouldn't have in New York, but of course, Lee's fail-safe for dining choices. The food is always fresh.The staff is always friendly, and the service is always good. It might cost a little more than other places, but then again, it takes better than other places.Make sure you get a biscuit or two extra to take with you.“

“Our contractor just raves about this chicken. One day, he surprised us with the works. Picnic on the deck with his crew. Yummo. So good. Chicken was flavorful and moist. The plantains were cooked just right. I've never had a yucca fry, but it was tasty.“

“Don’t let the small space fool you the food is good. Tasty fresh hot chicken tenders and sandwiches. They have a sweet ketchup that is amazing for dipping as well. Can’t eat inside and if you don’t have small vehicle you’ll have park behind building or at the gas station.“
