“My waitress/bartender was exceptionally kind and caring. She checked on me every time she would walk by. Not once did she walk pass without acknowledging my presence or asking if I was ok or needed anything. The male greeter was also extremely kind and caring and even came to back near the bar to inquire about any needs i may have l, even engaged in some meaningful small talk. Another male waiter was very pleasant and answered questions that i had regarding the drink menu. Over all a great experience, great food and awesome hospitality. I highly recommend this establishment to others and will be returning. I came in stressed and left feeling seen, cared for and quite full ?“

It's quite delicious considering it's a restaurant that serves grandma's taste. The dinner plate that came with rice and beans was great, and I also ordered some delicious-looking Tamales, but by the end I was too full to eat dessert.Came here on a Friday night with 3 adults and a 5 year old child.The staff's response is also good. “We catered a welcome dinner for our wedding for 90 guests through Jalapenos in Carytown. The event was at a local brewery. We ordered a wide variety of items including tortillas, fajitas, steak, chicken, rice, quesadillas, dip, and other items. All the food was extremely fresh and tasty, with great portions! It came right on time, and was set up perfectly! We received so many compliments on all the food, and people kept going back for seconds. Loli was very patient with me as I was quite indecisive before ordering and the other staff members were kind as well. The lot location is perfect for capturing more business and adds character. I will say a few years back, the food wasn't as consistent (I'm sure covid related, supply & demand of items, etc) but they're BACK and better than ever pictured below are the nachos with carnitas and they were truly delish perfectly seasoned, crispy yet moist, and just all around damn good. go check them out!!“

I ordered the quesabirria tacos and my mom ordered a beef burrito with a side of rice and beans. The portions were huge and definitely worth the prices, which was very reasonable. The quesabirria tacos were okay taste wise. The consume had way too much oil. I had to keep using my spoon to bypass the oil. My mom loved her burrito and rice and beans. She said that they were both flavorful and she had plenty leftover for the next day. I'll be back to try out some other items in the menu.“

Make sure you know some kind of Spanish because there is only one worker there who speaks English. The tacos were decent sized and the prices weren't bad just less cilantro and onions and more meat was needed for them. The place is small so depending on how many people are in at the time you mat be waiting for a little bit. Not bad I'd come back again.“

Firstly I would like to thank the servers for extraordinary service as my kids sometimes can be loud or unruly but they never once made us feel unwelcome.
