“I spent New Years Eve here and while the space was amazing, the planning and execution of the event was not. We paid extra for a VIP experience - the food was FANTASTIC! Probably the best thing of the night! The evening included a 90s dress contest, a 90s band and midnight champagne toast....Well, the contest winner was not even announced nor was added to their Instagram - there were 4 pictures posted out of everyone dressed up. Up in the VIP room, there was NO count down or anything - it was 2024 and we didn't even realize it - so much for our special midnight toast in the VIP Lounge! While I didn't know one song the band played, I was assured they were 90s songs. the advertisements should have said ONE STYLE of 90s music.. this event can be great....Just needs some work to it ... especially when people are paying extra!“

“Hardywood Brewery was AMAZING! It had friendly and attentive staff and they were super affordable AND had a food truck (which they normally have different ones 4-7 days a week). The indoor space was clean and VERY big! Their outdoor space had everything from a big open field for dogs and people to enjoy (tonight they had an awesome corn hole competition going on which was really fun to watch!) as well as ALL different types of seating options (some more together, some more intimate). They also had disk golf and trails you can walk if you want a group activity! It's an amazing place to visit and I would highly recommend ??“

“We went in for a couple drinks on the rooftop and ended up staying for dinner at the lobby bar. It just so happened to be restuarant week and there was a a. 3 I was it was a a time for me to 1ew2 2menu with plenty of options for everyone. I would likely recommend stopping in if you're looking for a nice, quirky spot to eat. The skyline alone from the rooftop is the perfect setting to start a beautiful evening wether with friends or on a date. Big shout out to Earl the bartender!“

“Super tasty fries. The Cheese burger was also legit with generous toppings. Wish it was cooked more pink, but it was still delicious! “Locals have extolled Sub Rosa's breads, but because I live out of town the bakery is closed or sold out on most of my visits to RVA. Yesterday (Friday), I happened to be in town for my husband's heart procedure. He loves LOVES bread, especially by the loaf, and I decided I wanted him to wake up in the recovery room to a fresh loaf. So, I trekked over early and learned that they were sold out and it was explained that the loaves I saw were for wholesale. When I selected some other yummy looking items, I shared what I was up to. The cashier said "wow, that must be hard." Waterworks for me at this point. They went back to triple check and found a few spare loaves that were put out for sale. The raving about the bread (we had the original) is not overstated. Crunch, density, chew, taste. All perfection. Most importantly though, they were very kind to a person on a hard day.“

“SO many great flavors to choose from; roasted strawberry will spoil you on regular strawberry ice cream forever! The cannoli ice cream(with mini cannoli shell) was excellent. “Stopped in after the Irish Festival. Got a mango smoothie with boba, and my husband got a mocha smoothie with boba. It was so good as always. I have been going here for years and wish I lived closer. My husband and I both agree that the sound of the straw pulling in the last drops of our smoothie is the saddest sound ever. It means it's all gone. ?Parking: Park on the street for free or park in Kroger across the street and walk over.“

“Accessible parking for Vasen was a challenge. I had to park on the street a block from the entrance. The ramp into the brewery was minimally compliant and very steep. Once I was in the building, everything was accessible. The bathrooms were open and clean. The bar and seating areas were completely accessible. There are no gluten fee options for having a drink, but the food trucks that visit may have GF options.“

“Simply a wonderful experience. We came in looking for snacks and drinks, which is the primary output of this location. The menu is simple and affordable. I got the cheese with an English cheddar, and it was served with excellent toast and a grainy mustard. My friend got one of the baguette sandwiches, and it came with a great portion. We also loved the beers available, they had an earl gray one on tap that I've been searching for since trying at a different bar years ago! The service was great and fast as well. We sat ourselves after alerting the bar staff we'd come in, and they were really prompt and attentive. I also loved the atmosphere, quiet enough to have a full conversation but not so quiet you felt uncomfortable doing so. There is outdoor seating by the parking lot where folks came in to order at the bar, so that's certainly a great option for nice weather or for pet lovers. Overall really good affordable and simple food, coupled with a nice selection of beers. I can't wait to return here!“

“Always fresh and delicious. Their avacados are always ripe and green. Flavors are always a hit. My go to spot and I dont think there is anything remotely comprable that I have ever come across. This is what one hopes sweetgreen could be like but is nowhere close in quality. Do yourself a favor and try Goatacado.“

“the tea selection is great, and the food is super tasty. we had the chocolate crepe, and it was divine. I believe they use a dark chocolate, making the crepe not sickeningly sweet. perfect. My mom and I came here because we couldn't think of anything to have for dinner that we wouldn't have in New York, but of course, Lee's fail-safe for dining choices. The food is always fresh.The staff is always friendly, and the service is always good. It might cost a little more than other places, but then again, it takes better than other places.Make sure you get a biscuit or two extra to take with you.“

The taste can have a bite that's often not pleasurable however here at Ninja Kombucha they got it spot on.The customer service I was exceptional with offering that didn't come off as a sale pitch.I really enjoyed these kombuchas and when I returned 3 weeks later purchased more.“

“It’s a great brewery, however, the menu isn’t as extensive as others and has little variety. I wish they experimented with more German and Belgian-style beers. The past year I’ve been coming I haven’t seen any besides the Octoberfest which was GREAT! :) IPA’s, lagers, & stouts are mass produced in this country and not everyone enjoys them. All in all, I do love Richbrau and will continue to return. It’s worth a visit.“

Run by very pleasant people, and they make some "killer" 'za.I've tried a regular pepperoni pie here, and also the philly steak pizza. Both great. But the Sicilian pie is where it's at. After first trying the Sicilian, I have been back multiple times to get more. This thicker pie really hit the spot for what I was looking for in terms of texture and flavor. Just awesome. “The selection of teas at Carytown Teas is magnificent. They have over 250 and the menu is broken down into categories like green, white, black, etc. to make it easy to choose. The staff here are friendly and will let you smell all the teas you'd like! The space is inviting and they have a few tables inside in case you wanted to sit and drink a cup of tea. They have flavored sugar cubes like lavender and rose as well, which they allow sampling for! Side note, we sourced all of our teas here (russian caravan, almond, and orange tea) for a tea party we had at home. Everyone was impressed!“

I tried my friends milkshake and it was so good. This place is probably one of the best ice cream places that I have been to. Don't miss their seasonal offerings for holidays! Most recently we had a delicious box of items for high tea from their Mothers' Day menu and everything was perfect and fresh. We are really lucky to have Sunflower Gardenz in our city, a hidden gem for sure“
