I am especially fond of their chicken salad, white house rolls and chicken cobbler. I will also pick up baked goods from there when it is my turn to bring in goodies for our morning team meetings. You can even get a beautiful cake on demand!“

“Great pizza. I balked a bit at the price of a slice but one slice is basically two because they are huge. I was pleasantly surprised by the crust because I don't normally like a thicker crust but this crust wasn't soggy or puffy. 10/10 would recommend and I'll be going as often as I can.“

“I have not been in the Richmond area long, but Zombie Pizza has already proven to be a fantastic discovery. Run by very pleasant people, and they make some "killer" 'za.I've tried a regular pepperoni pie here, and also the philly steak pizza. Both great. But the Sicilian pie is where it's at. After first trying the Sicilian, I have been back multiple times to get more. This thicker pie really hit the spot for what I was looking for in terms of texture and flavor. Just awesome. “Pretty good pizza in freaking giant slices. Unlike most giant slice places these dont suck. I got just olives on my slice. Guy asked kalamata or green? Seriously.The one major shortcoming is that they have shakers for oregano and garlic powder but no parmesan. Unless there is some secret insider method for obtaining a cheese shaker by turning the second wall sconce counterclockwise.They have a lot of interesting pies, but I found the menu hard to read so I just asked them what they have. This is on me though, I have bifocals, and the menu is on the front of the counter. So you have to look down to read it, snd that angle is awful on bifocals. Especially when handwritten.Will go back.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options. I didnt see any vegan pies though, but to be fair I didnt read the entire menu because its hard to read.“

Goes to show that good things come to customers who give in and are flexible. Because I was willing to sit at the bar even though I did have a reservation, I got a free drink in return. “Nummmm nummm nummm. Consistently good but beware, causes serious cravings. I loooooove the spaghetti with meat sauce, it's more of that Tuscan flavor than a tomato base and is enough for two sittings. The prosciutto, mozza, arugula hero is perfect if you are in the mood for a light summer meal.“

It's small and intimate, so we could talk and hear each other. It wasn't busy at all, with just a couple other tables and some pick up orders dropping in. Our server Christine was fabulous! She responded well when we told her we were going to be slow and were visiting while eating dinner. She checked in on us the right amount of times, offered suggestions (which were spot on) and kept our drinks full. She made us smile several times and I hope to see her again! The food was delicious. We started with the eggplant appetizer (recommended by Christine) and it was so good! Crispy on the outside and fresh on the inside with the right amount of sauce. The dinner salads were the right size and their house dressing (a balsamic vinaigrette) was divine. I wish I knew how to make that at home. Maybe I will ask next time! For dinner I wanted something lighter and no tomato sauce so opted for the Chicken d'oro (another suggestion when I asked about this or the piccata) and it was spot on. The right amount of lemon butter sauce over some super thin, breaded and sautéed chicken breasts. I ate them all!!! My friend thoroughly enjoyed the chicken parm and we both got spaghetti with our orders. For dessert I went with the tiramisu. It was different from what I normally get in that the lady fingers weren't totally covered in mascarpone, and I enjoyed this too!! I really look forward to returning and trying something else....hopefully to get Christine as our server again!“

The restaurant was highly recommended to us by local Richmond friends who, like ourselves, are seasonal New Yorkers who sought out the best local “New York Style” Pizza. Our experience was outstanding. First, the atmosphere of the restaurant and the professionalism of the staff was refreshing after a long day of work. We were welcomed with open arms by the owner who really made us feel very welcome. The menu offered quite a selection and variety of authentic Italian dishes. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, flavorful and stunning to look at. The ingredients were fresh and the portions were abundant. I highly recommend visiting this special restaurant and trying their brick oven pizzas which are available with an assortment of toppings. The great thing is we can also order out on nights when all we want to do is go home to relax. This really is an awesome place.“

There are no tables to eat in so I grabbed my pizza and took a bite in the car. Normally I'm not a fan of canned mushrooms but the flavor of all the other toppings made that a minor thing for me. The young lady at the front was very polite and made sure I had all I needed before I left.“

“I have been eating Gino’s pizza for about a little more than a year. Their pizza is Delicioso good. It brings me back to when I grew up in The New York style and taste of pizza. The crust of the pizza is very important and they have it down pack to a “T” Once they hand me my pizza pie and I get outside and smell the aroma coming from the box it takes me back home to the The Bronx. The pizza is fresh , the mozzarella cheese is right and the sausage is perfect. When you walk through the doors of Gino’s Pizza the atmosphere is welcoming and they are always polite. This is a family business that is on display when you enter the establishment.. “We are business neighbors of Joe's pizza and a review is long over due. As a catering company, we spend so much time cooking for others and never for us! So when lunch time rolls around Joe's is our 'go-to'. Everything is ALWAYS tasty and portions generous. The size of a slice of pizza blew my nephews mind. Haha. Our order is filled quickly and accurately every single time. And the icing on the cake is that they hand deliver our order to our business so that we can get back to work while it is being prepared. “I love the pizza here and when we have friends over Pinos is always the first choice for pizza. The pizza is excellent and a good value, but we only get takeout. There really isn’t a great reason to come here to eat. It would be nice if they upgraded the TVs and showed sports instead of Fox News. ?
