“We brought our group of 20 yesterday, having called Helen to give them a heads up before we arrived. Our group was very pleased with their meals. I had shrimp which was breaded perfectly, not too heavy. The Shush puppies were very flavorful. The mac in cheese was yummy. And the collard greens were great. Plus a pleasant staff and very warm welcome. I would recommend Ms. Girlee's Kitchen when you are looking for some great southern comfort food.“

“My Muslim community, SHRIMPS restaurant has much more than shellfish The fish is exceptional and very deliciously seasoned. I've had the fish poboy and the fishettes. The fish for both meals was fresh whiting. They also have fresh salmon, chicken, turkey chops and lots more! Please check them out and support this black owned establishment. “I ordered the baked chicken, cabbage and mashed potatoes with gravy, the food was delicious.The food was seasoned well, it looks like a whole in the wall, but the food is good. Just mop the floor with some bleach, it was sticky and all I wanted to do was tip toe out of the facility.“
