I ran across this gem while on a weekend to Richmond. The owner greeted us as we entered and gave us a brief history of the restaurant. The food is amazing! The Tipsy Gumbo is out of this world and is a must have. It is offered as an appetizer but will easily fill up two people. The catfish PO boy was fresh and well seasoned. Visiting for a few days from NYC and came here for happy hour which is 4-7. My experience was perfect from start to finish. My server was so friendly and the decor inside was very fun and inviting. I ordered the tipsy gumbo and fried shrimp. While I was waiting I heard some ladies at the bar giving rave reviews of their food to the chef, which got me excited.
