“Despite having limited staff they are efficient and make great drinks. I’ve been coming here more often and they have consistently made better drinks than the standalone Starbucks I was going to previously.I will say I’m basing this experience off the past year - since they renovated their space in the Target. They definitely have improved greatly since then staff wise!“

“A consistently great spot in the neighborhood no matter what time of day. Excellent coffee drinks and pastry items (especially the Guava Pastry) in the morning, lunch options for a real meal, and cocktails and food for dinner. Food can be a little expensive depending on the dish, but there has never been a bad one! Cocktails are always creative and well balanced as well.“

“Had an amazing experience with my aunt in the little blackbird. The food was to die for and had an amazing taste of different small plates. High praise to the gnochi with beetroot, very odd combination but one of the best I have ever had. Would like to thank Sarah for her warm hospitality and amazing wine selection, it was an incredible night to remember.“

“We had the best time at KooKoo DC last night. They accommodated a table of 14 for my spouse's birthday and never let us feel like an imposition. The food was so fresh, authentic, and reasonably priced - I did a double take when we got the bill. I even felt like we went all-out with apps, drinks, and desserts! The owner was also so kind - we just felt so cared for the whole time and can't wait to visit again.“

“Gluten free, gluten free, deliciously gluten free. Ok as a NYer, I’m regularly expecting any deli to be…mid. And then I called my mother to tell her I found it. The best of the best deli that cares with such flavor and appreciation of food.Ok, let’s get to what I orderedThe Jetski - gluten freeHusband ordered the same but with all the gluten. We both stopped talking until we were done eating. Nothing left to say but “when are we going back?”I did a pick up order which I suggested due to limited seating. I hope you enjoy this as much as we did.“

“I always get their Pistachio latte and it's always great! It can be very busy in the morning especially on the weekends. They don't really have a lot of space in there, so it gets crowded sometimes. But it's still one of my favorite coffee places in “

“Nice place if you want cupcakes that aren't overly sweet. I have heard a lot of good things about this place. I'm not quite sure if it's overhyped or just right. It's a nice place if you're in the area but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to come back for more. The cupcakes are good but not that special.“

“The food was good but the cashier had a very bad attitude. Didn't give our drinks when we ordered and when the drinks didn't come out with our food, we went back to the cashier for them. His acted like he couldn't be bothered and was really off putting.“

“The best sushi in the dmv by far for the price. The people that run this place are so amazing and kind. The sushi is made out of amazing cuts of fish that are fresh and they are generous with their portions.I’ve eaten at multiple Michelin star sushi restaurants and this sushi rivals that, they really know their sushi. They’ve always been super friendly and accommodating. Treat yourself and support a family owned small business!!“

“Heard great things about this place, And was blown away by the breakfast sandwiches we got!! Absolute total game changers!. Both were hot fresh and delicious!. And the coffee was great too. It’s a busy place, So don’t be surprised to see a line out the door. But the staff dona great job and the line movies quickly. This location is attached to a hotel, So they have some seating inside and a small patio for outdoor dining.“

“This was above average Italian! I had the lemon, spinach and ricotta ravioli and it was delicious. The pasta was clearly homemade and cooked well and the sauce had a delicate lemon flavor and was creamy with a great texture. The ricotta was also smooth and there was lots of it!I would love to come back here and try other items on the menu!“
“It's the happiest place! Adorable cats, cheese, wine- a recipe for success.“
“Stumbled upon Crumbs & Whiskers by pure chance as my husband and I were exploring Georgetown. We were intrigued and stopped as soon as we saw all the kitties running and playing around. We're out on vacation, so I'm missing our very own kitty waiting for us at home. I absolutely fell in love with this place! I love the fact that you get to interact with all the cats, get to know their personalities, and they get to go a good home You even get a Polaroid with one of the cats! Would definitely stop by again!“

“After a climbing session at Vertical, my friend and I went downstairs to visit their coffee shop. The Drinks: I went with a class Iced Caramel coffee here. The coffee was good, mixed well and didn't have a burnt taste at all. Well flavored for my liking and at an affordable price as well. The Service: Service was good! The staff here are friendly and welcoming when you walk in. Ordering was easy and straight forward with orders being sent out in a timely manner. The Atmosphere: With the climbing gym being upstairs, it only makes sense that the decor and atmosphere fit into the "climbing/adventure" aesthetic. The coffee shop is spacious with plenty of seats to either relax/hangout or get some work done. They had nice National Park posters/stuff decorated around the shop as well. Really nicely decorated.Overall, a 5/5! Great coffee, very chill and relaxing vibes. Would definitely come back.“

“Great Ethiopic menu! Lovely coffee cups.“
“I had avoided this place, just 2 minutes walk from my house, for the longest time. First I thought it was a junkfood type coffee and sandwich place. Then when I realised it wasn't fully that, I still thought the name was totally dumb. I did know that I can't keep avoiding it forever, thus, a few months after my friendly neighbourhood convenience store owner heavily talked it up, I went. It is an Ethjiopian-owned spot that caters to the typical coffee shop crowd. They have a mix of normal fare, and some lowbrow version of fusion Ethiopian dishes. I had their altered variant of chechebsa. It wasn't bad as long as I didn't think of it as chechebsa. The place is tiny and quite cosy. I know I'll go back.“

“Delicious sunchokes! Attentive service. Extremely noisy/loud - very difficult to hear without shouting. (Maybe take all those opened wine bottle corks, line the walls w them to absorb some of those noisy sound waves bouncing all over the room??)Kid-friendliness: Lots of families with small children/toddlers there on Fri night.“

“Fairfax Dr. that ends in its black has about 100 or more metered parking spaces and more than 50% was vacant on Saturday at 9:00am. Bottled/canned drinks available. Small iced coffee took less than 1 minute to be ready. I was able to enjoy my own music with open ear headset but I had to walk outside when I received a call because the caller couldn't hear me well.“

“Raveberry hisbiscus rose with brown sugar boba - it is default with oat milk! Who doesn't love that! The flavor itself was somewhat bitter but elevated with brown sugar boba to make the drinking experience balanced on bitterness and sweetness. I enjoyed the drink on a sunny day as it was a refreshing hydration choice. Service was quick as it seems like it was a long line to the cashier to order. It wasn't so bad and they were very attentive to details on size, add on, type of milk and which flavors. The vibe around the cafe was nice, there's some outdoor seatings. I opted for that seating as it was nice outside as it's crept out of winter season. I'd come back for boba and milk tea with oat milk. Again I'm loving the oat milk as default when ordering!“

“Chocolate pistachio croissant - 5 stars. so good and will be returning for this. Any place that has pistachio pastries is a place for me. Morning bun - very flavorful (cardamom & lemon) but a bit too dry for me. 3 stars Espresso & tonic - I did not like this at all, and will definitely get a safer drink option next time. There was a line at 130pm which I was surprised about, but it moved very quickly and we had no trouble finding a seat. Cute place, will be returning!“

“I have a few favorite ice cream spots in the DC area, and Dolcezza is definitely one of them. The only downside is that the last couple of times I went, they were out of pistachio - my absolute favorite flavor! Nevertheless, their ice cream is always creamy and bursting with flavor. This time, I got black sesame, banana, and dark chocolate - still delicious, but hoping for pistachio next time!“

“CHA Street Food doesn't mess around when it comes to Aesthetics. A mix between Red, Yellow, Pink, Blue Colors just showcases how vibrant they want the environment to be. It's very trendy and I could see why people who would come here would come here to just for the looks alone. Right around the corner from Mamam Joon lies CHA. It's very fast casual as you have lots of spacious tables to sit and choose from but you just order up at the counter and pick up your food when called. I came here on mid afternoon where there was only just me. I wasn't there for too long as I ordered the Zinger Chicken Sandwich & Mirchi Fries and a can of Coke because why not. The Zinger Chicken Sandwich consisted of a piece of Fried Chicken fried well, lettuce, and spicy red mayo sauce. It wasn't spicy biting into it but it was a delicious crunch when I was able to taste everything all at once. The Mirchi Fries were interesting as the dry seasoning that's coated all over them did have a small kick but it bring out more flavor when biting into one. I really did enjoy these a lot and would order again if I came back. Besides from aesthetics, it's clear of what CHA Street Food wants to be. A modern twist to what Indian Street Food is that caters for anyone looking for a quick bite or a nice place to hang out. Check this place out.“

“As a recent transplant to Northern VA, things natives take for granted I find weird. Terrible traffic and the lack-luster behavior passing as customer service. My Safeway (yes--Mine...'cause I like it), has friendly employees. Not creepy 'too nice' robot people, but the real kind of attentive employees. The woman at the checkout who teases me about how much ice-cream I take home in one trip. The employees who know I can never remember the difference between hot peppers: they explain it to me at least three times a month. Yeah, the produce is fresh, the meat is prime and well priced. Oh, and their sour dough round loafs are excellent...just sayin. So, their goods are typical Northern VA fair: excellent quality and a touch more expensive than I'm used to, (but no more expensive than any other grocery I've been too). But I like Safeway (yes, because it's close to my house), but also because I feel like the employees see me. In an area with too many crazy drivers and frustrated fellow customers, being seen is no small thing.“
