“Went here every time I had to work in the area. Santa Monica and fries were my go to. Sometimes when I was in the area for the day I would get breakfast in addition to lunch later, they are that good. The Chinese they had at the to-go bar was also a reliable choice. Don't get there that often any more though, but they are still what they were years ago.“

“Gluten free, gluten free, deliciously gluten free. Ok as a NYer, I’m regularly expecting any deli to be…mid. And then I called my mother to tell her I found it. The best of the best deli that cares with such flavor and appreciation of food.Ok, let’s get to what I orderedThe Jetski - gluten freeHusband ordered the same but with all the gluten. We both stopped talking until we were done eating. Nothing left to say but “when are we going back?”I did a pick up order which I suggested due to limited seating. I hope you enjoy this as much as we did.“

“The ribeye sandwich is insanely good—tender prime rib, thin sliced provolone, a pillow soft hoagie roll, and dipped in jus or on the side. Eddie’s has a good thing going!“

“LOVE this spot in the City. Always great food and great energy. Locally owned and it's the sister location to Clare and Don's. Atmosphere is not what you would expect, but definitely fits the vibe. Food is always fresh and the staff is attentive. If you have's had a chance to visit Lazy Mikes you need to! They have outdoor seating available too.“

“Great experience. My husband and I both had sandwiches that were delicious. I had the Philly Cheese Steak and have to say it was as good as, and if not better, than the one's I have had had in Philadelphia!!! My husband had toe Sottopanino and raved about it! The staff there are friendly, helpful and welcoming.“

“Gave up the dream of cheap but pretty decent morning bagels when we moved here from NYC. Lo and behold, we were told about this place and it definitely impressed us with the prices! Pretty good bagels with prices similar or even lower (e.g. lox bagel not being the standard 15+ it is in NYC now). Currently heavily on rotation.“
“We absolutely love it! Delicious food and great service. I highly recommend and we will definitely be back!“

“We were all blown away by the Passover Seder menu. My guests couldn’t believe how fluffy the matzah balls were and the soup was filled with deliciousness! The brisket was so yummy, the chopped liver to die for!! From ordering to picking up couldn’t have been better!! Thank You!! Warm up was so easy too!!“
“Run by a nice family, this place has been a winner for years. While I do miss Ezat, who used to bake the flatbreads in the back of the store, this market carries many types of great ME breads and many other ME products. While their canned or bottled foods can be priced a bit high, this market is an overall winner! Love it! Superb!“

“Listen, I order GrubHub seven days a week OK I never heard of this restaurant before I ordered three sandwiches first of all the patty melt is so good and came so hot off fresh off the grill it burnt the top of my mouth and I couldn’t do anything but keep eating it. Amazing flavor freshness, quality, if I ever wanted to learn how to make sandwiches, I will go to university wise Miller, deli superior I’ve been in DC 13 years and I always learned something new or new place to go. This place never seems to amaze me keep up the five star business, I love it.“

“This is the place I’ve been looking for since I moved to the area. Everything is food as you could make at home, which is just what I wanted. I go here for breakfast regularly since the pricing is good and the food is filling. If you want to wow yourself, this probably isn’t what you are looking for. If you want somewhere you will likely keep coming back each week and would put into a regular rotation, then look no further. Family owned business, they make the food in front of you. If the wait time is too much for you, order ahead. I’ll continue to give this business my money, they deserve it.“

“This is a cute little deli in the Fairfax Medical Center in Fairfax City. The sandwiches are all pretty delicious with fresh ingredients. They have daily specials including bulgogi on Tuesdays which is a really good deal with a lot of rice Korean slaw and Korean beef sauteed with garlic ( bulgogi). The food is really good here. My favorite is also the Reuben. It is also very delicious and loaded with meat. They don't skimp here. You get fresh deli meat, fresh cheese and service is great. The owner is very nice and friendly. Great place for a quick lunch in Fairfax city!“

“I've been coming here for 20 years now. I've always loved the food but this past time I tried the Parma for the first time ever and oh my god, AMAZING. I'm mad at myself for not trying it sooner. It's my new favorite. Everything is great here though. The sandwiches are perfect and always have the best quality toppings (i.e. the finely shredded lettuce is exquisite and quintessential for a true Italian sub). I love their sides too, the antipasto salad and macaroni salads are outstanding. I also really enjoy their premade meals. Caesar salad, garlic bread, lasagna, stuffed shells, meatballs, it's all great. Love this place.“

“I 100% agree with the statement of best Pupusas in VA! It's a small corner store with amazing food. Great prices too. Pictured are their taquitos and I don't know what the white dipping sauce was that came with them but it was amazing too. We also had 4 pupusas, 2 cheese, 2 cheese/pork. All of that plus those 4 extra large taquitos for under $15. It was dynamite. Fair warning, signs for food are hand written mostly in Spanish so if you're a hater of Latinos, please move on and don't bug these amazing people. If you can't read Spanish, the owner will explain any questions that you might have on the food. Great customer service.“
“The five stars is only for the Banh Mi! It's the best value ($7) for what you will get anywhere in DC. Just bring cash because the credit card minimum is $12. The other bakery items can be good but hit or miss whether they will be hot or cold. The older lady that runs the shop is very sweet -- I will always come back when I am near the Eden Center“

“Delicious food with even better service! I've only been here a handful of times, but I haven't gotten anything I didn't like. It's quick and super convenient. They have a wide variety of sandwiches and breakfast items. They also have Banh mi which I haven't tried yet but looks amazing. I'll be back to try more items for sure. We enjoyed that it was made fresh on the spot & tasted great especially at midnight, the casher was UNFORGETABLE with his catchphrase "alright awesome!" He's definitely a highlight. Would definitely swing by this small hidden gem!!“

“Stepping into Sophia's Deli, located intriguingly in a hospital environment, one might not expect a culinary delight. However, this eatery shatters all preconceptions, serving up a steak and cheese sandwich that can only be described as a masterpiece of comfort food. The sandwich itself was a testament to simplicity done right. Encased within a wheat sub, it was generously laden with succulent steak and a lavish amount of cheese, melting together in a symphony of flavors. Each bite was a harmonious blend of tender meat and gooey cheese, making it a hearty and satisfying meal.Accompanying the sandwich was a cup of coffee, a perfect foil to the rich flavors of the meal. The total cost, a modest $12, felt like a bargain for such quality, especially considering the usual fare one might expect at a hospital deli.Beyond the food, Sophia's Deli offered an ambiance that added to the overall experience. The environment was not only visually appealing but also had an inviting aroma that set the stage for the meal. The service was lovely, with staff members exuding warmth and efficiency, ensuring a pleasant and swift dining experience.Sophia’s Deli stands as a beacon of quality and comfort, a surprising find in a setting where one might least expect a memorable meal. It's a reminder that great food can be found in the most unexpected places, offering a respite and a touch of normalcy in an otherwise clinical environment. For those seeking a delicious, filling meal at a reasonable price, Sophia’s Deli is undoubtedly a go-to spot.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair accessible door.“

“Basak Chickeb is right down the street from my office. I remembered it was tucked away in the next business park over and decided to try it for lunch. I ended up purchasing “The Sando”, a fried chicken sandwich. It’s awesome and probably the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. I had it hot but could’ve gone hotter. It’s covered in a nice slaw and a sauce you can get from mild to hot. 5/5 stars would eat again.“

“The restaurant looks like a 90s pizza shop, so isn't very nice, but it's always clean. The service is absolutely amazing & the cashier is very sweet. The food, however, could use some healthier options, like turkey sausage/bacon, vegan sausage, lox/smoked salmon or chicken sausage. They could also have vegan cheese. And as for breads, they should have a gluten-free or higher protein option, like Dave's Killer Bread (or bagels). However, service is quick & prices are cheap, so I know they will stay in business, despite those things.“
