“We lived in Burbage Grant for 8 years and then moved out of state and the one restaurant I missed the most was this La Parilla.When we moved back to the area a couple years ago this was the first restaurant I visited and it's like we picked up where we left off. The staff even remembered us. The service here is amazing! We have eaten here 50+ times and we have never waited longer than 10 mins for our food to come out. And they never disappoint. The fresh guac is delicious, my go-to is the carnitas tacos and I'm a little obsessed with them.. I always leave full and satisfied. The strawberry margaritas are bomb! We highly recommend La Parilla ?”

The staff is friendly and patient with you as it was our first time. I highly recommend the crab dip you will not be disappointed. I had the fried shrimp and they are cooked perfectly. The portion sizes were larger than many reviews have mentioned. If you are looking for a great date night location this is it!”

“My fiancé and I have been a few times since moving to Suffolk. We’ve always had fast and friendly service and the food portions are huge. We went this past Saturday evening for dinner to celebrate both of our birthdays (both Oct. 19th). Everyone was kind and friendly but when we mentioned it was our celebration no one seemed to care, probably because it was just two of us alone at a huge table. The other guests were sang to, had tricks performed for them, and it was just a regular Saturday evening for them. It was pretty disappointing. Wasn’t looking for special treatment but, we’ve had far better times there. Anyway, food was amazing as always. Will return.”

Because he said the driver came and no one answered the door but no one in my house heard the doorbell ring. An apology would have been nice but you heard the rudeness in his voice. “Order was placed for 2 combos both with large sweetened ice tea. The food was fine. However, I received the order and was given unsweetened tea. Sat in the drive thru for 20 minutes the first time and another 15 minutes the second time. I won't complain because I arrived at the peak time (5:20 pm). There were 4 employees taking orders, one additional giving receipts, and 2 walking the orders to the cars. As always, the food was excellent. Next time, I plan to check my order before leaving.”

“I just left and I had a great meal, The Brochette is the best I have ever had. the Balsamic reduction the lightly toasted bread makes it so very tasty, and a great app for sharing. I then had a very nice salad very cold and crisp and very fresh the Italian dressing was home made light and tasty. My entree is one of my favorites Fresh Garlic and Olive Oil with sun dried tomato's and Angel hair. Perfectly balanced, very thinly sliced garlic warmed perfectly but not over powering. The Service was great, It was only 4:30 but about half full. The Ambiance was what you would expect for a very small town. Very Clean and neat. The owner Al is there every day all day and does 90% of all the cooking The Pizzas are great he makes his dough fresh daily and discards at the end of the day.”

“Yesterday I visited your Chesapeake,Va location. It was my son’s 10th birthday and he came to pick out his cake, miss Mary made him feel so special. She sing him happy birthday, took our order and hooked my baby up with a free mini lemon Bundt cake. Not only was the customer awesome the cake was amazing. “I love this place, and they always have such great customer service.. but I was really disappointed with my first cupcake order from them. I was told one price but my card was taken over the phone and charged a different price.. I was going to let it go because it wasn’t a huge difference, but when I picked up my cupcakes today the box they put them in didn’t have place holders in them so even though I drove extra careful, there was enough room for them to roll around inside and this is what we ended up with. Feels like a waste of money when the cupcakes weren’t cheap to begin with. I’m all for “you get what you pay for” but man some placeholders for transportation should be a standard I think. I’ll still continue to support them because I do think this bakery is awesome and everyone I’ve interacted with has been really sweet.. but pleaaassseee use this review for constructive criticism lol.”

We were immediately greeted when walking in the door, the respectful addressing as "ma'am" and "sir" to me and my husband was also super refreshing, as in today's food service industry, you don't get that much anymore!! The shop doesn't hold a lot of people. 2 other families walked in at the same time we were there, but it was fine. Just noting for people who like to stay and chill. The ice cream wasn't as creamy as I had hoped, but still very nice! Would return!”

“This is a pretty typical Chinese take out restaurant, not really any place to eat inside, but it's my favorite place near me. One of the first things you notice is the friendliness of the lady taking your order. She is just so pleasant. The dinner combos, which include the best pork fried rice and an egg roll, are right around $10 and enough for two. I have only tried the General Tso's chicken, and it's decent, but I really like their pork fried rice that has plenty of roast pork, onions, and, uniquely, bean sprouts. So good! Always a positive experience.”

I don't care for their thick breading on their mushrooms, zucchini, cheese sticks etc either ordered individually nor via their 'mix fry'.. Wish they offered some salads with mixed greens vs plain ole iceberg. Wish their garlic knots were more flavorful. I've eaten their pizza and cheesesteak since they opened but have only ever had it delivered, so I can't comment on their customer service other than placing a phone order where there's never been any issues. When I want a hot, cheesy, thin, floppy, crunchy edge crust pizza, this is my go to.”

“This place is wonderful; been eating here for nearly two decades. Everyone who hates on the customer service or calls them rude are usually they themselves being rude; I've seen it many times. I don't think a lot of people in this area know how to talk to people of asian ethnicities and take their straightforward attitude as rudeness when really they just want to get you your food and keep it moving. I for one truly appreciate the "What do you want? Okay 5 minutes. Here it is" approach that they have and it's severly undderated. Will 100% continue to eat here in perpetuity.”

I even typed in the comment section may I have honey mustard and barbecue sauce and still didn't get it and I know they got the note because the delivery driver deliver it to the right room. I think you all should amend your ordering menu on DoorDash to include sauces especially for out-of-town guest so they don't have to run out and just purchase sauces to go with the food”
