“This place is always packed, and there's a reason: It is amazing. Our go to is the bubba, yummy Yama and pan fried gyoza. It's right up there with the best sushi we've ever had. And they also have subtle touches, like they put the gyoza in styrofoam containers, and then they poke holes in the styrofoam to make sure the gyoza stays crispy and doesn't soften with its own steam. Also, they will hold open the doors for you if your hands are full with a carry out order. Such nice touches!“

“We were here very recently and enjoyed every aspect of our meal. Very homely, fresh vibes with clean tables and decorative plants spread throughout. Waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. Food came out fast (appetizer first), then meals. Not a ton of rice, but meal portions were large! We had the crispy green beans, chicken green curry, and fried pork. Everything was delicious, vegetables tasted so fresh and each dish, so flavorful. Curry was incredible, but will likely order spice level 2 next time as 3 was just slightly too hot (but not unbearable).Thai iced tea offered a sweet balance to the savory and spicy flavor from the food.Looking forward to coming back and trying some more of the authentic thai dishes!“

“Celebrated my wife’s birthday at this sushi spot and we were blown away by the food and service. Our order, captured in the photo, showcased a creative and delicious assortment of sushi. The staff made the occasion extra special with complimentary miso soup and dessert. It was a delightful experience that we’d highly recommend.“

“I recently had a meal at a restaurant with a friend and noticed some changes since our last visit. The interior decor had become more straightforward, with dark green walls replacing the previously abundant dark wooden furniture. It also appeared that the restaurant was undergoing some renovation. We also noticed that the back wall of the sushi bar counter was now adorned with white tiles. Furthermore, the restaurant has more Japanese dishes than Korean cuisine. The food we had was decent, but it had the potential to be better. The house salad was passable, although it had a slightly sweet taste. While the sashimi was not the freshest, it still had a good overall flavor. We enjoyed the Korean Rib Hot Stone Rice, as it was warm and savory. The pickled radish and kimchi on the side were perfectly fermented and had a nice crunchy texture.Parking: There is a free parking lot behind the building.“

“This place is incredible. We didn’t dine in, but the food was absolutely incredible. It’s rare to find a place that does vegetarian food this well. Even the leftovers were amazing a day or two later- so so good. The Five-Spice fried chick’n, Orions Delight, dumplings, and General Tsos were all fantasticVegetarian options: Unbelievable. If you’re vegetarian, you have to try this place.“

“We went here during happy hour on a Tuesday or Wednesday. It wasn't busy at all. Our server was attentive and ensured our order was correct and we had everything we needed! The food was good! Definitely recommend for a sushi happy hour. We got miso soup, house salad, spring rolls and a few sushi rolls. The spring rolls were so hot, fresh and crisp. The rolls were yummy and filling. We will come here again for a good happy hour!“

“Pho has rich broth with good flavor. The host/waitress is excellent at her job, friendly, and has suggestions ready. Not pictured is the tendon (if you’re into that sort of thing) which was great - not overcooked but also not too chewy.Interior atmosphere is very calming. Also highly recommend the pho for comforting takeout (great for when you’re sick or you had one too many at the brewery the night before!)“

“Oh wow such a hidden gem. The food was amazing ask for TJ. He was amazing. Great service and so attentive. We enjoy our food so much. The curry puffs were so good the apps was 10/10 that I tried. I didn’t try the crab Rangoons or dumplings since it had shrimp & crab in it. I wanted all chicken. Such a cute experience I will come back. The food was busin busin.“

“I recently had the pleasure of trying the Joelle Metallic custom raspberry cocktail at this fantastic restaurant, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment the drink arrived at my table, I was captivated by its exquisite presentation, adorned with a shimmering raspberry garnish that added a touch of elegance. The first sip transported my taste buds to a world of pure bliss. The balance of flavors was impeccable - the sweetness of the raspberries perfectly complemented by a subtle hint of tanginess, and the mixologist's expertise shone through in every drop. It was evident that only the freshest and highest quality ingredients were used to craft this extraordinary cocktail. The Joelle Metallic was not only a feast for the senses but also a work of art. The attention to detail in its creation showcased the passion and creativity of the restaurant's team. The glassware itself was a thing of beauty, enhancing the overall experience. The service at the restaurant was outstanding as well. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, making sure my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. If you find yourself at this restaurant, do not miss the opportunity to try the Joelle Metallic. Whether you're a cocktail enthusiast or simply looking for a unique and refreshing drink, this custom raspberry concoction will leave a lasting impression. My visit was truly unforgettable, and I can't wait to return for another round of this splendid cocktail!“

“I did a carry out. Being my first time, I was given recommendations by what looked to be an owner/operator. He was very accommodating as was the young lady present who was doing most of the cooking. The food were fresh and delicious. A huge thumbs up!“

“First time here. A really incredible find! The portions are generous, very delicious, and an incredible value. There are some sushi places in the area like Ariake that are also quite good but too expensive. Miso has the same quality of udon + katsu but it costs less yet exceptionally delicious. We ordered two kids meals... Huge! Katsu, shrimp tempura, and udon. Just wish they gave us more kimchee. Overall ❤️?✅!“

“Yu Noodles in Herndon is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it can get! I recently had the pleasure of dining here and was blown away by the incredible flavors and quality of the dishes. The steamed shrimp dumplings were a standout for me, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. They were an absolute delight to eat the freshness of the shrimp combined with the delegate dumpling wrapper made for a truly memorable appetizer.Don't even get me started on the seafood noodle soup. It was out of this world. The broth was flavorful with hints of seafood essence that elevated the dish to a whole new level. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the generous portion of seafood made each bite a heavenly experience.Overall, Yu Noodles is a must visit for anyone in the Herndon area. Whether you're craving dumplings or noodle soup, this is the real deal. You won't be disappointed by the delicious offerings at this fantastic restaurant. I will definitely be back!“

“After hearing great reviews, we were eager to try out this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful ambiance. The Thai design elements, including large fixtures on the ceiling, added a unique touch to the décor. While the food looked and tasted good overall, it was a bit too sweet for our personal preference. Nevertheless, the service was fantastic and contributed to a great overall experience.“

“My friends and I had to change restaurants last second due to the restaurant before not being open and they mentioned this place having great reviews and we decided to go on last second. Absolutely no regrets! We walked in and the atmosphere was great! Our waitress was really nice and helpful, we couldn't have had a better time The Tacos are to die for and the army stew was a great family meal for everyone to share, all great in food and mood. I definitely recommend in trying out the restaurant“

“Donkatu is good. My picky eater daughter finished the whole plate. If you miss old Korean style don kka ss sauce, they have it. I also had Jjambbong kalkooksoo. It was ok to good. I wish more seafood or bigger seafood pieces in there. Price is ok. Before I eat here, I went to the thrift store in the same plaza. Walk all the way straight from the restaurant. They have great selection of home decorations and set of plates.“

“David is the reason I had a great meal and experience. When I saw that the menu had changed and asked about vegan options, I was disappointed. David went way out of his way to make sure I didn’t have a boring, steamed veggie meal. He double checked all ingredients with the chef and I had the stir fried Buddha’s Feast with tofu. Sooo good. The ambiance was lovely and the food was delicious but the most impressive part if this visit was David.Dietary restrictions: Ask for a vegan menu“

“Kumo is my go to spot for sashimi/sushi in the DMV area. My favorite asian fusion restaurant for over 10 years. It is perfect for date night, special occasions and business lunches. I've taken my children here and they love it. Everything on the menu is delicious and their prices are reasonable. The sashimi and sushi are crazy fresh. Our usual includes Salt & Pepper Shrimp, Hunan Triple Crown, Salt & Pepper Soft Shell Crab, and General Tso's Shrimp. This hidden gem is tucked away in a strip mall in Kingstowne. They do get busy, so I would make a reservation especially if you're going on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.Parking: Open lot, plenty of parking“

“This hole in the wall restaurant is one of my favorite places to go for szechuan food. The prices are a bit on the higher side but for the flavors I'm looking for, it's all their. I usually get the Dan Dan Noodles, Twice Cooked Pork, Cumin Lamb and sometimes Mapo Tofu or Kung Pao Chicken. Haven't had any bad experience with them and will keep coming back!“

“High Side is not only an amazing craft beer pub, but it has delicious food and a strong sense of community. I like that it's located in a small space that isn't loud like so many larger pubs, and is much more conducive to talking with friends and meeting new people. The staff is so attentive and knows their customers by name. It's always a fun experience and I highly recommend High Side even to people who don't drink beer. The food alone is worth it!“

“4/5/24Our 1st day in VA for our vacation. After checking into the hotel, we needed to eat early dinner. We were actually on our way to get gas after a 4-hour drive. I noticed the name noodle house. I'm always on the lookout for noodles ? We turned around after gassing the car.We were told to sit anywhere. Then Amy came over and asked if we'd been there before. After we said no, she proceeded to explain the menu. The base Luosifen and the extras you can add. Their famous Burrito... I want noodles! LOLI got the Signature Luosifen. Love it!Hubby doesn't like noodles, so he opted to get Pig Feet and Stinky Tofu... Pig feet were good, but the Stinky Tofu... there is a reason it was his 1st time having Stinky Tofu LOL. He doesn't have a great sense of smell, so he enjoyed the Stinky Tofu. After we finished, we actually told Amy to open a restaurant up here in NJ LOL“

“We have eaten at the restaurant and take out. We have never been disappointed. The pulled chicken sandwich is so good. It is huge and the sauce they put on it is delicious. We also have done take out with their whole chicken. Great deal and very tasty. It comes with two sides. Daicon radishes and cole slaw. If you have not tried this place you should.“

“I love the single family sized burner tables to keep small children away from hot surfaces. I also like being able to sample two broths (spicy, mild). Our server was very family friendly and that is why I recommend bringing your family to this restaurant. This restaurant fills up fast so I recommend arriving early or late to beat the crowd. I think we got the last parking spot in Stryker mall. There were three guys blocking my car upon departure but they moved upon request. We came hungry and left very full.“

“I have a love/hate relationship with this place. When it comes to events, everything is at the lobby once you walk in and it's filled with neon lights, a dimly lit bar full of many offerings of alcohol you can get, a few small sections for VIP for your friends, and usually a DJ playing their music. There's open karaoke as well but I don't know if people sing often in the lobby. So I have been here many times for my friends and even booked a room as well. Rooms are spacious and they do have pretty nice audio. But there is one thing that truly irks me every time I come here. So they have a touch screen where you can add your karaoke songs through YouTube or through their system but getting the videos to load is a pain. It's annoying to deal with because it skips to the next song in queue so if you are with a group of 5+ more people, it can be very stressful. The worst part is we asked the staff about it and they aren't really sure what to do about the connection. I mean they should really fix that because I'm sure it gets people upset. No one wants their song to be skipped. Aside from that, you can also hear the loudness from other rooms, I don't expect that to be an issue but it's noticeable on busy nights. If you do plan to go here, there's one thing I highly advise before going. Check their socials if they are hosting any event and call ahead to know about the room rates. The website shows their original flat rates for the room but in events, they raise the prices up. If you go in person, check the menu before deciding to put your money down. This place also adds gratuity to the bill so be prepared to drop down a lot. While I frequently come back here just to hang out with friends, karaoke is one of my favorite hobbies. Its never a good time when your song doesn't get played or you get charged way more than you should.“

“Really adorable and fun decor! I can only speak for the bubble tea which is great- not the food which I've yet to try. It's a little expensive but the drinks are worth it. My only complaint is that one cashier in this location was rude to me once, made a strange comment, although I think he left. Watch the customer service. Otherwise I'd totally recommend it and go back.“

“Really good spot overall. In a sea of overpriced and overrated places this place stands out with quality food and a good price. The place itself isn’t extravagant and not everything on the menu will blow you away but there are defiantly some standouts and a place worth trying.“

“It's good in an Asian sort of way.No music, Chinese families sitting around speaking Chinese, self service sauce bar. This isn't the greatest food, but it's like comforting. Can get a large hot pot or individual hot pots. “The sauce is good, usually the sauce is supposed to be extremely sweet. The only thing i like about this dish is that the sauce coats the fried pork and the fried pork is extremely crunchy. Noodles were 10/10, made me cold at the end. But the whole point of these noodles are supposed to be cold and filled with ice cubes. The noodle texture wasn't so chewy, but the noodles itself made me extremely full. The broth was cold and savory, which I enjoyed. The toppings are standard but the plating is very nice I would say. The service is very speedy and polite. Only a couple people working but the staff managed to serve everyone as fast as they can. Depending on the certain food you order, the preparation can take a while. Other tables ordered different dishes than us but that's because all dishes have different preparations and ingredients. I don't blame that. The ambiance of this restaurant wasn't so noisy, but since there are a lot of kids in the restaurant, it can get pretty loud. But that's because they're kids. I can say that it is a peaceful atmosphere and I can perfectly hear myself talking to my parents which is a good thing. Overall this restaurant was impressive. I have to say, if I don't clean my bowl after eating my dish, then that's how you know the food was mediocre. But today, I devoured my dishes to THE CORE. It was so delicious, I would definitely come back here next time with my parents.“
