“It was just okay to me. My kids loved it. They liked the chickpeas and bread. I thought the portion size was reasonable. The chicken kabob was probably the best. The beef and lamb were a bit dry. There is no luxury here for dining. You are just eating in a small place with enough space for about 20 people max. It was decently clean. I would eat lunch here again. It’s not a date night though.“

“One of my favorite places. Been coming here for a while! I always have the chicken and ground beef combo which comes with a choice of side and they have the best sides! I always pick the LAMB CURRY! Amazing! Delicious! Their soup is fresh too. Aka the “Aush”.“

“Great potential for the falafel platter, with some missteps that keep it from being five stars.First, the good:- sauces were excellent (toum, shut)- dips were great (hummus, labneh, and a chickpea stew)- bread (shrak) was great- fries were great (served with cilantro)- onion/parsley garnish was very good but needed to be more of it- falafel was good- salata was pretty goodHere’s what can be improved:- the Persian style grilled tomato and grilled onion make no sense as a side for a falafel platter… it should either be served with tabbouleh or chopped raw tomatoes and onion, either of which add freshness and cut through the heavy sauces- speaking of tabbouleh, it was supposed to come with some but didn’t- the fries, falafel and chickpea stew were a little too salty- personal preference: I don’t like pickled beets in general very much, I didn’t like these pickled beets in particular very much, and I strongly feel that pickled cucumbers are superior on a falafelThe good parts about the platter were great. But, the actual falafel wrap was a little off, because it lacked fresh veggies. The sauce, the bread will keep me coming back, but I hope the owners take note of this feedbackVegetarian options: Falafel platter seems to be vegetarian friendly“

“Large portion sizes and good food- one platter with an appetizer and salad was more than enough for two people. The service was warm and they sized up the servings, as well as gave us extra water and dates for iftar. Nice local spot to visit.“

“Absolutely 5-?place. Why? (1) They are genuinely hospitable and you will feel their positive vibes as soon as they start greeting you. (2) The place is very clean, well-maintained, and organized, with good distance between tables. I like their booths better?. (3) They serve authentic and VERY delicious Afghan dishes. Kabobs are soft and juicy. Shrimps are crazy delicious and soft (never chewy). Ghabeli-polow is the best! (4) Their quality of service and dishes are consistently great. (5) Their price is competitively low for such large portions.Highly recommended!“

“I tried the chicken kabob with salad, rice, and bread. Everything was delicious. The staff was very friendly. The place was very clean. The only thing I found a problem was that they didn't give out spoons. It was difficult to eat the rice. I wish they served tabouli salad as an appetizer.“

“Delicious meal! Highly recommended. 10/10 service and experience. Would happily return to try more items off the menu. Miriam was our hostess and server. She explained the menu with great detail and was a sheer delight to interact with. I had the chicken bowl with my sides being the chickpeas, eggplant, spinach, and naan. It's fun to mix and match all these delightful tastes and flavors. I washed the meal down with their luscious yogurt drink and had leftovers to cover dinner! Thanks so much for a great meal. See you next time!“

“One of the few things I continually thank some divine creator for is the thriving and competitive kabob scene that exists within the NOVA area. I've been fortunate enough to try styles influenced by the Persian, Shojan, Iranian, Afghan, and Egyptian communities that exist here. I have consistently eaten at Kabob Corner on Main St a ridiculous amount of times, cause I really do think they are the best at what they do. They are dearly hospitable to all customers and proudly stand by the food they freshly make. Their kubideh is moist with that flame-grilled char present in all great kabobs, their chicken ridiculously juicy with a gorgeous rich deep orange, their rice is copious and seasoned, and their Afghani nan fresh out of the tandoor. If you can find room in your stomach, dip the nan in a side of chickpeas or their bournee baunjan (it's this great fried eggplant sauce). Their mantu is also fantastic, but I often find myself too full to finish an entire plate. Great food, great service, great everything.“

“The food and service at this place is always awesome. Especially the gentleman who runs the front of the house. His name is Marvin, and he's the nicest guy you could ever meet. If you want good food, pretty quickly, and like people in general, this is a great place to get it. I've become a regular customer and I love this place.“

“Loved Joon for Brunch. We will be back! Great food selection (we did a la carte) and our server Elijah was awesome. All of the dishes were well-balanced. It was lively by the number of active tables yet auditorily quiet around 1PM which was pleasant.Parking: The garage is free and easy on the weekends. Otherwise, park near the end of the Patsy's parking lot towards Tiffany's. Parking for this plaza in general can be an adventure to find your first time.“
