“Pho has rich broth with good flavor. The host/waitress is excellent at her job, friendly, and has suggestions ready. Not pictured is the tendon (if you’re into that sort of thing) which was great - not overcooked but also not too chewy.Interior atmosphere is very calming. Also highly recommend the pho for comforting takeout (great for when you’re sick or you had one too many at the brewery the night before!)“

“Was seated right away! Pho came out super fast and super hot. I asked for extra beef and extra noodles, only got extra beef which is fine. Broth was good. Staff was super friendly. Definitely would eat here again when I'm in town because it was right next to my hotel. Hope I get extra noodles next time I ask.“

“Pho 7 is a great little place for pho. The pho is flavorful with lots of fresh accompaniments, such as basil, bean sprouts, jalapenos and limes. There are also sauces on the table you can add. However, this is one of the tastiest broths we have encountered so far and we did not need to add much to our well done flank soup. Pho 7 also has a full menu of other dishes you can order. We sampled the summer rolls with shrimp and peanut sauce which were also very fresh. The service is friendly and attentive and the dining room is comfortable and decorated with colorful murals. Parking is very easy in the big lot off of Rte. 7. The restaurant itself is located in a little alley way in the middle of the strip center where people like to sit on the Adirondak chairs and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. Although the day was beautiful, I think the real treat was still to be had at a table inside the restaurant rather than in a lounge chair outside of it.“

“I have dropped in a few times now. The soups have been fantastic. Tom Yum lives up to being a classic. I also loved the main entrees Pad Thai and Drunken Noodle. The environment is very friendly, clean, and relaxing. The owner, and staff, greet customers with friendly smiles. I can let go of stress with each visit. I am planning more trips to eat my way through the extensive menu and enjoy some great smiles. Great selections available to share dishes.“

“I went to this place for my birthday and I have to say that it was a great experience. My family and I shared the Bún bò Huế (spicy noodles), hoành thánh chiên (fried wontons), Gà xào húng quế (Thai basil chicken), and Bánh hỏi đặc biệt (Vermicelli platter). The food was so good, my favorite was the Bánh hỏi đặc biệt. The owner went around to every table and checked up on everybody and our waters were being refilled constantly. Everyone was really nice. They don't typically do anything special for birthdays, but the owner gave me a free mango sticky rice!! Even after we paid and started to leave, the owner came out to us and recommended the ice cream place next door. I really appreciate family businesses and loved to see that traditional foods are still very accessible to people with dietary restrictions. I am 100% visiting again.Dietary restrictions: Many of their dishes can be made vegan easily and they have a glutton free menu.“

“Best vegan restaurant in Washington DC. I like spending my outing time there. It’s an amazing place the staff are nice and welcoming. I prefer eating mom’s tofu & brown rice with a mango smoothie when I go there. Please try that I am sure you will love it.“

“I did a carry out. Being my first time, I was given recommendations by what looked to be an owner/operator. He was very accommodating as was the young lady present who was doing most of the cooking. The food were fresh and delicious. A huge thumbs up!“

“Ordered take away on line and it was ready when I walked in. Ben searching for a place with a decent vermicelli bowl. This is the best I’ve had in the area. Service was friendly and quick. Online ordering was quick & simple. Definitely will order from here again.“

“Really cannot say enough good things about Little Saigon. I’ve never had an issue with parking, and always feel comfortable and well taken care of when dining in. The staff are very friendly, and they tend to have fresh flowers on the tables, which is a sweet plus.I always order the chicken pho and the broth is insane. It’s clear and not too oily, you really can’t go wrong. I also have ordered the spring rolls which are again, so so good. Recently ordered the stir fry lemongrass tofu which was such a treat. It’s hard for me to go to other places because I love their pho broth so much.Parking: About ten or so spots in front of the restaurant.“

“The meal was exquisite. The dishes were well presented, creative and delicious as well as showing upon rather generous, dare we say it, North American portions. Our server (and others passing) was/were fantastic but we did sit at the bar and not at a table. This was a choice that we consciously made because we were celebrating our 19th anniversary sans children. Intimacy. A few reviews complain about price or the lack of selections on the menu. All we can say is: post-COVID prices have gone up significantly but that is true for everything that we, as a community, consume today. It might be harder to stomach the price increases for discretionary expenses like a fancy meal. In any event, please do not expect 1980s or even 2019 prices. Secondly, yep, it is pricey, but it is worth every centime. The "limited" menu is what really good restaurants do, not to gouge you, but to spoil you with a core set of dishes that will tantalite the palate of almost every true gourmand. NUE hits the mark rather well. Finally, one kink in the armor, is how food is served today and how waitstaff interact with customers. Partly caused by the clash of generations, e.g., servers and the served may have 30 to 40 years between them, partly because due to COVID the new wave apparently did not get to learn from the OGs who did not return to the hospitality business sector, and is likely partly due to the pace of life in the DMV as practiced by folks with maybe too much money. That service process part needs to be ironed-out, but it is not just an issue at NUE, but at most, if not all, DMV fine food establishments. We, for one, will be back to NUE very soon. We just need to save up for it and we won't have to wait a year.“

“Just looking at the picture I took has me carving for more. I got garden tofu roll and garlic steak over rice. The fried egg is not included by the way. You pay extra if you want it. The meal was nicely proportioned. Steak cooked perfectly in my opinion. Come with a salad. I demolished this this food. Love it! Quick service. I got my meal less than 15 minutes. Can’t wait to go back for me!“

“We searched for a sushi restaurant in Herndon and found one with great reviews. We decided to try it for lunch and were thoroughly impressed with the food! We started with a delicious miso soup with a well-balanced miso and bonito broth. It had a savory taste that we both enjoyed. We also tried the Mari Mari Roll, a signature house roll consisting of shrimp tempura, tuna, salmon, and avocado, topped with baked scallops - it was incredible! We ordered a sushi and sashimi combo for two, a Chirashi bowl, and two pieces of chef's special Uni Hokkaido. The Uni Hokkaido had a burst of ocean fragrance in the mouth with a subtle sweetness, and it was just perfect. All the dishes came with high-quality fresh fish that were firm and shiny, indicating that they were fresh, and everything was delicious as each bite melted in our mouths! The service was excellent, and the interior ambiance was modern and stylish, with dim lighting and jazz music playing in the background. It made our lunch a unique and delightful experience.“

“Local family operated restaurant in Springfield focuses on pho and banh mi! I ordered the pork belly one and the chicken banh mi to compare the quality of the ingredients. I did notice that they mislabeled one of my sandwiches and received the cold cuts banh mi instead of the chicken banh mi which I was a little bit disappointed about but the sandwich was good. I also got their iced viet coffee with lychee jelly and my goodness was the coffee strong cause it had me up for hours! The use of ingredients from the bread to the vegetables and garnish are definitely high quality. What I admired about the location is the passion I saw from the family to make sure they gave to each customer even though they were a bit backlogged when I was waiting for the food. Ambiance wise they have plenty of tables for you to seat down and enjoy your meal. This is new to me but they have shelves along the counter with what I assume are Vietnamese pastries, definitely will do some research and try some next time. They have a bit to work on the logistics and the layout in the restaurant for better flow behind the counter but I look forward to returning to try other offerings on their menu.“

“All Pho options are amazing. It was the coolest winter day and we decided to try this restaurant. We were so happy because we love Pho, and the big surprise is that this restaurant is a Fusion with Latin dishes. We ate amazings Cheese Pupusas (El salvador), Inca Kola (Peru). It was amazing to find in one place a variety of great food from Vietnam (Kind of spring rolls, but the doug was clear, sorry I don't have the name) The Phos we all tried were delightful. Service was incredible. I hope the neighborhood support since we need more like this restaurant♥“

“The servers were all super friendly, and the food was very flavorful. I got the fine vermicelli, which is like a make-your-own rice paper rolls, and all the ingredients were super fresh and flavorful. Only potential downside is that they’re waiting to receive their liquor license so no alcoholic drinks yet - not really an issue since they’ll probably have it soon.“

“I went in to order food to go and it was so fast, maybe 10 mins tops before I got my food and was headed on my way. A few other reviews said the people working here have limited English, but the woman who took my order had no problem chatting with me while I waited - she was super nice and welcoming! The menu has an English side and a Vietnamese side that match up, so you can just show them the number of what you want if you ever run into anyone with limited English. I'm not familiar with many Vietnamese dishes, so I'm excited to come back and keep trying more since the tofu dish I got was SO good!Dietary restrictions: The whole menu is vegan“

“Lantern House is a cute casual restaurant with a festive decor, a surprise find in a strip mall. If you are searching for Vietnamese-style crispy spring rolls, this is the place to go. Their other dishes are good too but the spring rolls really stand out. I give them 4 stars only because I haven't tried many dishes. I order mostly the spring rolls and other appetizers on the menu because I love them so much!“

“I had a fantastic lunch here on my first time. I went after doing my time at the gym. I had the crabby pho to try out a variety of what they serve. Also had a half-pound of crawfish, since I've never tried them before. The waitress was extremely polite and attentive, and I appreciate her patience with me.I got the hot spice on the crawfish, which was a great choice, not too spicy at all. Though if I had to give one complaint, it's that the crabby pho didn't have a spicier option. I could pour in siracha sauce but it wasn't quite enough for me.Unfortunately the place wasn't especially busy; probably because of whatever event was going on in Eden Center. Some might not like it being so empty, and might prefer to go at dinner time instead.Still I loved the food, I'm definitely going next week. Looking back I don't think I've ever had a bad meal in Eden Center.“

“Currently our favorite place for pho. There are so many pho places in NoVA but always hard to find good ones. So glad we found this place. We have been coming here to dine or ordering DoorDash from here almost every week for the last couple of months. Fresh ingredients, flavorful broth, good quality meat, always friendly service, competitive price, rich serving size and probably the cleanest and modern pho restaurant I have been to. What more could you ask for?“

“Things to note:* only pho soup* can order small or large* can add a bowl of noodles on the side* cash only* no veggie soup options; so don’t ask* family/large group friendly restaurant* parking can be limited and people tend to drive a little recklessly —> so park far and walk off the extra noodle carbs on the way back. It’s fantastic, flavorful, and fresh! The noodles are great, the meat is tender, the coffee ????? slaps. I got the iced Vietnamese coffee with the crack- milk (condensed milk). It’s a family restaurant. Big groups, kids, and hungover college students reside here.Service is quick. Sat down, ordered, food came out in 5 minutes! And it was packed!Once you’re done, just go up to the counter and pay. Cash only. You can walk next door and grab rice cakes, tapioca cakes, or sesame balls. Can also grab Bahn mi for dinner later. The ? is ???.“

“The food was very good and the service is speedy. Nice menu with some interesting choices. I had the rice noodle bowl with chicken and spring roll. I've had this dish many times at many other Vietnamese spots. This one was very good. Too many bean sprouts in my opinion. But, I don't like bean sprouts. Great sour/spicy fish sauce. The chicken was not dry and had good flavor. I will go back to try some other things.“
“I’ve been on the hunt for authentic, mouth drooling bun rieu and the quest has been lackluster until I found this place. Walked in and immediately greeted by a lovely auntie, the owner and chef. She told me it’s a one woman show, and I can tell she put a lot of love in her cooking the moment my bowl came out! The crab meatball was massive and you can tell she used lump crab meat! There was also a unique herb that I haven’t seen provided. I can tell she doesn’t skimp on quality! Honestly, the prices were reasonable given the portion and quality.Even the complimentary iced tea provided was top shelf! It was pandan infused green tea that she said she imported from Vietnam from her personal family. Wow wow I’ll be back to support her!“

“Had an amazing experience at this mom and pop restaurant. The service and vibe was akin to being at your asian grabdmother's house. Their specialty here is their broken rice platters. I had never tried it before and it was absolutely delicious! The meats had a bit of sweetness which paired amazing with the umami of the fish sauce on our rice. The ban bo hue was also delicious it was full of flavor and the meats in the soup were delicious. Overall a fun experience my best recommendation is to come here with an open mind particularly if you are new to Vietnamese food.“

“The Pho Bo was wonderful! The taste was delicious, the meat and vegetables fresh perfectly complimentary to the meal. I do however regret my eyes being larger than my stomach and chosing the large size over the small size, but I ate my money's worth. I ordered a sweetened ice expresso that although tastey was not worth the price due to its size. (See pic below). But overall the restaurant was good. Clean seating, glasses, friendly staff, and I didn't even have to wait long for my food. Plenty of noodles and broth! 10/10 would come here again, based on what I've seen on other people's drinks like mine they are small, so just take that into account before buying because it is not like the pictures. I paid 16.95 (Small was 14.85), for a large pho bo bowl and could not finish it, I did notice that it costs 50 cents for each takeout container so if your a small eater either starve a few days before or prepared to chalk out some money to take home the leftover goods.TLDR:Good food, fresh ingredients, alright pho bo prices, disappointung drink size vs costWheelchair accessibility: Sidewalk is a little lacking in maintenance and a slight hill but you can make it here in anything with wheels. Minimal to 0 difficulty.“

“We pre-ordered a mix of Banh Mi Sandwiches and Spring Rolls for 35 people and followed their advice to have the jalapenos on the side. The food was delicious and promptly available for pick-up. They even called us that morning to confirm whether or not we wanted the rolls on a tray. The cost was much lower than any competitor and our guests said that the taste was better, too. This business should be everyone's go-to spot and it is a perfect choice for upcoming pool-side meals.“

“Why hasn’t anyone raved about their Bo la lot? This place smells like heaven when you walk by it. So much that is how I got drawn in. The beef is so juicy and tender. “Their nem nuong is a solid choice for lunch or dinner; whenever I am at Eden, I always order some for my husband. Their nem nuong is made fresh to order, and takes roughly 15-20 minutes to be ready. It is served with a special orange sauce, that is different from your typical peanut sauce or nuoc mam. It contains a grilled baked pork, lettuce, herbs, and a crunchy egg wrapper INSIDE the roll. The crunch egg wrapper is made different with each place that you go, but will always be the best ingredient in your nem nuong roll.“

“Food was excellent and came out super fast. Pho had LOTS of meat - the large bowl had enough meat to be practically a meal for two. Iced espresso was served with the ice separately so it didn’t get watered down before you drank it, came out with sugar on the side so you could make it how you liked. Definitely not fancy in terms of ambience but everything was clean and the toppings were fresh & not wilted or mushy. For the amount of meat you get the price is very reasonable. (No pictures because I was starving and the food did not last long enough for a glamour shot)“

“This is a low-key place to get a delicious meal with a ton of free parking. Because it’s in the Eden Center, just know that parking can still be hard to find. By low-key, you should know it started as a bubble tea place with food on the side but the food is so good there’s almost an even split. The atmosphere is very casual, with a cafe feel to the seating. Service, even though this place is busy, still very good. Because my son raved about the grilled chicken lemongrass pho, that’s what we all ordered, accompanied by crispy egg rolls. Everything was delicious, and in perfect sizes for us.“
