“Amazing BBQ restaurant hidden in Virginia Beach on Laskin Road of all places. We were told they have "THE BEST" brisket around. I have to say Dave's makes a mean brisket that melts in your mouth. Not overly marbled if you are not a fan of fat. Just right. Smoked turkey was outstanding. Very moist. Loved it. Baked beans had to be THE BEST I ever had, a bit sweet but a bit of kick with pieces of meat and a spicy sausage. I think they had spicy beans too, I stuck with mild. I had the Cole slaw which was not bad. A bit too much dressing for me but overall great flavor. Banana pudding was pretty good. I was told it is made fresh daily with Nila wafers, my favorite, and was creamy, more like a creamy cheesecake consistency. Overall definitely a place to try, we will be going back.“

“So today I went to the Norfolk store to pick up a catering order. Well apparently I screwed up and placed it for pickup next weekend. This was bad. However Floyd the manager was able to work it out and get my order together today. Food is always fantastic and everyone there are very friendly. Love this place. Highly recommend. Thanks again Floyd, you saved Mother’s Day.“

“Friendly and fast staff. Very good food!“
“I was driving by and could smell the BBQ. The food was delicious, especially the brisket. The brisket is worth a visit. The building could be more noticeable and reminded me of the restaurant I visited in Carolina. I'm old school, and sweet collards are not my thing. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and I will return.“

“Saw this Korean spot when we went to Outback. Decided to give it a shot. The closest to the Korean food we're used to.... Forget the bonchon spots, you get more bang for your buck here! Wish they had more sides but what was available is good too! Kids approved so we definitely will be back. We got the Bibimbap (make sure you ask for your egg to be over easy or it'll have a hard yolk),bbq chicken, kimbap(Gimbap),& bugolgi fried rice (this was ok). The sides we got were kimchi, cucumbers, mac salad, & the shoyu potato.“
“We stopped by for lunch. There weren't many people waiting so we were in and out within 15 minutes. The owner was out of town and her niece was in charge. She was very nice and welcoming and she chatted with us for a bit. We ordered the spicy garlic wings, shrimp, dumplings, fries, and rice and spent about $60. Dumplings: Good, but wish they came with a sauce. Fries: fresh, crispy, and delicious!! They're battered. Garlic wings: Crispy, hot, and the sauce was yummy!! I got snow onions and they were good also. Shrimp: if you don't get a sauce there's no flavor. They were good while hot, but afterwards reheating them is a no-no.. they tasted like frozen shrimp and were soggy. But the first 10 minutes was ok. I'd definitely get the chicken, dumplings, and fries again!!! There was some sort of weird in your face smell that filled the whole restaurant. It smelled like a Grey Hound bus bathroom after a Taco Bell festival... I don't know what it was, but my stomach did a triple cartwheel, backflip!! Maybe it was the radishes. Other than that it was clean inside. Check them out!!!“
