“Consider myself a connoisseur of sorts of Cortadas. Colattao ranks as one of my top 2 in the country. Absolutely amazing with the perfect intensity of sweetness and quality coffee served in a demi cup with spoon. Such a cute coffee shop with seating ranging from tabletops, couches and tables/chairs. Nice music selection. Service always greeted with a smile. Love this place.“

“When I graduated with my bachelor’s degree, I moved back home to Virginia Beach to begin an online master’s degree program, which was not exactly what I wanted. Nevertheless, I decided to make the most of a less-than-ideal situation through the ultimate studying essential: coffee. I made it a mission to try as many coffee shops in the area as possible and can’t decide if it was a good or bad idea to start with 17 Hands because instead of branching out, I just kept coming back!I was initially drawn to 17 Hands for such a fun assortment of specialty flavors. My quick perusing of their social media accounts indicated a fun atmosphere, so I had to check it out myself. While it’s not somewhere I would go to study, I can confirm the vibes are good. The first drink I tried was the fluffernutter latte, which was a gamble. I am passionate about peanut butter but had never considered pairing it with coffee, and it did not disappoint. As you can probably surmise from the pictures attached, many more fun beverages have since been consumed! I can confidently say that 17 Hands has my favorite cold brew in the area. And what’s not to love about a coffee shop with house-made flavored whipped cream?!One slight drawback is that 17 Hands is no secret—it can get busy on the weekends, and you might have to wait for your drink. That said, I will continue to campaign that good coffee or their INCREDIBLE house-made chai is worth the wait. Come with a friend-- it’s just extra time to enjoy each other’s company, and once the caffeine hits your system, any residual grumpiness is guaranteed to leave your body.All that to say, I will continue to refer friends to 17 Hands. I’ve sampled some other coffee shops, but something keeps pulling me back to 17 Hands. What started as a let’s-make-the-best-of-a-less-than-ideal-situation has now morphed into “Let’s go to 17 Hands to celebrate!”“

“We have ordered Black Rifle Coffee online quite a few times and we were thrilled when they moved to Virginia Beach... Until we moved out of state. Never had the chance to visit until now. We drove down to visit friends for the holiday weekend and stopped in. I could go there every single day. The coffee is fabulous, they truly have something for everyone. “We visited Perked Up during our recent visit to Va. Beach. The coffee is amazing, there is definitely a skill to making a good Latte, and they have it here. The people are amazing too! From the locals who hang out here to the owner and team members creating and amazing customer experience! What really makes Perked Up Coffee Cafe one of the best coffee houses I have visited, and I have visited hundreds across the US and over 30 countries, the baked goods! We found this place with only three days left in our trip. On the first day we tried a blueberry lemon bread and quiche; amazing. “Wide selection of beers, some hit or miss, but sometimes they do a lesser popular style with an amazing flare (Snatch you bald headed variants). Usually quiet (except on music bingo night lol) it’s a very home to the regulars place. Great service, good prices, and always a food truck worth trying out back.“

“Ordered 2 cake pops and a pup cup through the drive thru. Once I arrived at the window, I paid with cash, where the kid looked confused because I handed him $7.30 for my $7.25 order. Mathing is hard on these teenagers. He prepared the pup cup, but it took some time for my cake pops which is strange. Typically at another Starbucks those are out first then the pup cup is handed to me, makes sense. Nothing terrible, would've just preferred the pup cup after the pops!“

The pastries were delicious if a touch sugary (I couldn’t finish this one). I didn’t order any other food and I’d request management to consider adding one or two healthy food options to the menu (if there were I didn’t see any).The music played here was so chill, someone has great taste. “When it comes to this Starbucks it's great for the indoor seating. Perfect for doing business work! I walk in, order on my phone, do work, pick up my drink, work again, sip, and that's it! The staff are so welcoming and I love how this company invests in their staff. It shows!“

“You're not going to Duck Donuts for the atmosphere, you're going for the donuts. They are really decadent and delicious. Service folks are nice and quick but not the friendliest, coven the brisk business it is understandable as they don't have the time to be. Again, you're there for the round pieces of deliciousness. They make them for you to order and right then and there. Warm, soft, and sweet just as they should be. Healthy for you...at least healthy for your soul? Parking is really nonexistent except street parking.“

“I can't say enough about all the employees there. I can walk in at 445 am and I'm always- always greeted with a smile and "Hi Todd" My caramel machiato is not the easiest thing to make. Over the years I have acquired a certain taste and they nail it every time.“

“Mickey, our delivery driver, would get 12 outta 10 stars for me! He is consistent, reliable, always has an amazing attitude! I'm talking customer service you just don't get anymore these days! He is quick to address any problems and always helpful! I can't go on about him enough! If he misses us for some reason, he just swings back later or another time he is nearby and doesn't make a thing of it! He just gets his work done and proficiently AND with a great attitude toward his company and the customer! The one star is off is for the office in general, hard to move a delivery if you're out of town, they make you skip the delivery entirely then you're out until your next month unless you pay extra for an in between delivery which means we're lugging water from the store in the meantime which the whole point is to avoid that. Coming from ReadyRefresh (which had so many issues with customer service we left them) we were used to being able to switch deliveries up to the day before for no extra charge so we do miss that flexibility. Also the driver we get for our home delivery is no Mickey. He has left bottles in the front instead of the back before, left too many bottles another time, and he also always leaves them on the wrong side of the door so we can barely open the door and then have to drag them around the door on a small stoop which is a hassle rather than leaving them on the side where the door opens. But they can't all be Mickeys. Mickey brings bottles in for us without ever being asked, even puts a new bottle ON THE COOLER for us without being asked! He is a gem and a HUGE reason that we are continuing with Absolute at all. That man is a gem. He is a dying breed of excellent customer service and I'm so grateful he is our guy for our work deliveries. Thanks!“
