“Aldo’s is my absolute favorite restaurant! I am a very picky eater. My husband, (boyfriend at the time) , took me to Aldo’s on one of our first dates in 1990. If he was trying to impress me..it worked! Jim, the owner, has been there since the beginning and he is amazing! He has treated us like gold for 34 years now! He has sent wine and dessert over on our anniversary, compliments of the restaurant! He always asks us how everything was and of course, it’s always perfect! I have never had an issue. The atmosphere is incredible, very romantic and relaxing. There is live piano and the wait staff are top notch. Jim only hires the best! They have authentic Italian food that has so much flavor and there is nothing like it! I highly recommend Aldo’s for fine dining and just an overall fabulous experience!“

“The food is always good and fresh. I have been here frequently and have never been disappointed. Now that they have beer and wine its another plus for going there. The resturant is staffed by its owners. Ernie is in the kitchen preparing the meal with all good dishes. Kim is in the front making sure you get the best service you will ever get. “Our first time at Veranda and it was such a find. We were looking for a new restaurant to try and we very surprised at how great this little gem was in a shopping center. The service was very good, the food was very fresh and delicious and very reasonably priced. The wine selection was good and again very reasonably priced compared to other restaurants we go to. We are going to start including this in our rotation and we will be returning soon.“

“Bill Cutrell and I eat here often. I hesitate to write a review as it’s a secret spot lol. Small and delightful place. We LOVE it. The atmosphere, wait staff, chef (Angelo) are the best of the best. Angelo is a master chef. Jennifer is a fabulous server too!! At the end we tried Stephanie’s rainbow cookies which were to die for too. I don’t know why this place doesn’t have a 5.0 but deserves it. I had the rib-eye peperonata and Bill had the Grouper marinara. Both were to die for! ❤️❤️❤️“

“We stopped in tonight after buying a car at CarMax. We saw them in a little strip plaza while test driving cars and since it was our usual family pizza night, I made a beeline for them when we were done at CarMax. My husband and son were with me, so we ordered one of their pizza specials: 1 18" pie with two toppings, 10 wings and a 2 Liter. We also added a garden salad, which was fresh and delicious with balsamic dressing. Our wings came out with the salad and they were kind enough to divide them between two flavors. The Garlic Parm is fantastic! The pizza....oh the pizza. A native NY'er, I'm wildly fussy about my pie. This was seriously delicious. The perfect amount of chewy crust, cheese that wasn't dripping with oil, plenty of pepperoni and black olives and a juuuust right amount of sauce. I would've liked it cooked just a smidge longer but that's just my own personal preference. It was cooked nicely as it was. While we were working our way through an enormous pile of food, the girl at the counter was attentive and quick to check on us to see if we needed anything. The man whom I assumed was the owner was also our pizza maker and deliverer; he was also quick to check on us and came to box up our leftovers and see if we needed anything else. Not only was the service amazing and the food stellar, the same gentleman showered us with an entire basket of fresh and hot zeppole dusted with powdered sugar and served with chocolate sauce. On the house! Having just returned from New Orleans and having the French equivalent (Beignets!), this was the kindest and most appreciated gesture of good will. I wished I had snapped a pic but I was too excited and forgot. To say he made us feel like family is an understatement. I haven't had service that good or been fussed over that warmly in ANY restaurant in a long time. We will definitely venture back up from NC to visit them again. “Came here for dinner on a Sunday night. They have valet parking which is nice because it's not always easy to find parking at the oceanfront. We were there right when they opened at 5 pm and sat right away. They do have a bar area and a HH which is pretty good but tonight was about eating a meal. They did bring bread to the table which was very good. I ordered the Penne alla vodka, someone else got the Fettuccine Alfredo and the others got eggplant parmesan. Everyone enjoyed the meal. I saw some pizza coming out for another table and it looked delicious. We also got a cheesecake and tiramisu for dessert. The tiramisu was made with kahlua and not served in the traditional style but it was delicious!!! Our waiter took wonderful care of us - his name was Jessy. Nice, attentive, knowledgeable and funny! I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and atmosphere and would definitely recommend and go back again.“

I haven't had anything but great service, Rhiannon is a favorite and the kitchen is on point every time. The focaccia is an excellent appetizer, but you better be hungry. Bread was served as well. I had the carbonara last visit, traditional and delicious. I like a good meat ball and they come large and sweet. Excellent Caesar salad with a nice umami, enhancing the cheese and dressing with sardines. (Just two, don't freak - they don't dominate the salad.) The ambience is quiet and low key, casual dress- no worries about under-dressing.“

If you're walking down Atlantic Avenue enjoying the beach and what to grab? A. Slice of pizza or a whole pie check it out... I have only been this one time but my experience was good. My go-to pizza is normally the margherita, but it doesn't come with tomato sauce here so I went with the vegetarian. Hubby picked the supreme and the toppings were almost identical except his had sausage and maybe a few other things. The vegetarian was really yummy. It had plenty of veggie toppings and tasted nice and fresh. I was nervous looking through other photos because the crust didn't look done enough for me. Ours was perfectly done. Not over or undercooked. The crust held up all my toppings and wasn't greasy. We've been snacking on it for a few days now and it's still just as good as when we got it. Hubby enjoyed his pizza too and said he would order from here again. I agree. We got pickup, so can't speak to the service. I also didn't go in, so I can't speak to the ambiance, but there was a nice parking lot as the joint is in a strip mall. Maybe I'll try the margherita next time if I'm feeling adventurous.“

“Several persons and I from my apartment complex met there for lunch on Wednesday, 22 May, and the general consensus was that Reginella's is top-notch! The waiter was pleasantly attentive, brought cold beverages, and honored requests to bring cups of hot water to use to rinse our flatware. Salads were fresh, and the entrees were hot, flavorful, and plentiful! My Penne Primavera was delicious! Most of us had to request "to-go" containers!
