“My boyfriend and I visited for dinner last night and absolutely loved the surf & turf tacos! The service was excellent as well - the staff were friendly and the food was brought quickly. Portions were big, so we each brought a taco home. He also enjoyed his perfect patrone margarita - I got a different one I didn’t care for as much, but they had a generous amount of alcohol. Next time I’ll try a frozen beverage, as they looked delicious.“

“I don't even know where to begin! Yesterday was our first time going to this restaurant and it was absolutely spectacular. Even during a major lunch rush, they were so quick to get us seated When they brought us to our table, they already had chips and salsa on our table, hot and ready. The salsa was the perfect balance of taste and spice. Immediately after we sat down and were situated, a waitress got our drink orders, and shortly after that had our drinks out. We had our 10 month old son in a high chair and they engaged with him and talked to him, and he enjoyed it so much. He was smiling so wide. Typically restaurants only allow one server to check on their specific tables but here if a waiter or waitress saw you might need something, they would stop and ask if you needed it then quickly get whatever you needed for you. They were all so kind and friendly, it definitely felt like a very family friendly, lovely restaurant, and the atmosphere was just so welcoming. Not to mention the food was absolutely delicious and perfect portions. We ordered for my son off of the kids menu, and a lot of places have very small portions for kids. But I feel it was a very nice size, not too small, not too big. Overall this was an amazing restaurant experience and we will definitely be returning and highly recommend this restaurant, and not just for the food but for such a good wholesome atmosphere“

“Went there for dinner on a Saturday night. Atmosphere was great! Our server was so nice and friendly. The food was good. The portion sizes weren't as big for the price they charge for Mexican food in this area. The white sauce they give with chips was a disappointment. It tasted like plain mayonnaise with just a few spices added. Overall a pleasant experience and we will go again.“

I’m never disappointed and always amazed at just how great they are!! If you don’t stop by on your way to Sandbridge, you have no idea of what you are missing! Best tacos ever!!“

“We travel over an hour from the Outer Banks to Las Palmas 3. We were leaving VA Beach and I looked up Mexican restaurants reviews and found this restaurant. It happen to be Cinco Mayo and have been coming here ever since. The moment you walk in the door you have a friendly upbeat hostess ready to seat you. From the moment you walk in it is clear these guys have there stuff together Work well with each other. They are happy, friendly upbeat and organized crew. The food has never disappointed me. Prices are perfect too. We enjoy driving out here because it's worth it and we visit often. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!“

“This is located where Landing Zone used to be, and upon our first visit we were THRILLED to learn they kept our favorite LZ appetizer (lemon pepper wings) on the menu. Food is really good, and the staff is nice! Honestly, they may have the best white sauce in the area. I usually don't eat it at other local Mexican restaurants, but here I end up eating too many chips dipped in it and the salsa. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area!“

“Two of us ate at Plazas Azteca on Holland Road a couple of weeks ago. Service was great and our waiter constantly checked on us to see if we needed anything. Especially love their white sauce that you get with chips as soon as you sit down. The food was delicious! We had Nachos Supreme for an appetizer. Then we both had Fajitas for our main course. Yummy! The only downfall was the margarita I had. It tasted very bland. Other than that we enjoyed our meals and will definitely be going back!“

Incredibly flavorful and exactly the right amount portion-wise. Picture is the Birria tacos w/consumer and sweet plantains.Parking: So you can either pull in at the wawa and park in their lot that offers around 10 spaces. Or into the goodwill and there's plenty of parking available within steps of the restaurant.“

“Nice quiet spot for a quick lunch. Me and my daughter spotted this spot while looking for the Chinese restaurant in the same plaza. She did "rock, paper scissors and decided to go to Maragita Grill. The place was kinda dark but the waitress was very friendly and made suggestions on what was good to eat. The food was hot and fresh and did not disappoint. I'd recommend them and would visit again.“

“This El Azteca location is consistent in both service and food. We've dined in no less than 10 times and have ordered takeout quite a few times which was well packaged. We prefer the El Azteca off E. Little Creek road as the food is better in our opinion but this location is more convenient for us. It's never crazy busy, always clean and not too long ago they did some updates.“
