“Very cool owner and atmosphere. The best coffee in Williamsburg by far! The specialty coffees have syrups made in-house. Their cappuccino is the most properly made one in the area, and their roaster is in view of their industrial chic shop! Love this place.“

“Dropped by for lunch because a band I always enjoy was performing 12-2.Parking: Didn't count. I arrived early and had no trouble, but by almost 2, the lot was full. A sign explains how to find parking next door with a bit of a walk.Kid-friendliness: I was on their large covered deck. Several kids were there, and it was easy for them to get to the adjoining yard to play.Wheelchair accessibility: Straight shot, no steps, from their parking lot. I made it in with my cane with no trouble.“

“After having a horrible experience at Bakers crust. My family decided to go here for breakfast and it was a lovely experience. Our server Jack was excellent very attentive and polite. Whenever I’m in Williamsburg I will be sure to visit again.“

“Absolutely the best breakfast place I've ever visited. There are many pancake places in Wmsbrg. This is the one! Staff is polite. Food came out quickly and fresh. The portions are huge! Big breakfast: ham, sausage, bacon, hash browns, eggs-all scrumptious! And the pancake-whoah! Huge. Great food great service great price. Thank you 5 Forks. We'll be back! :)“

“Donuts are great. You have to like big thick donuts though. Seating is sparse but not a bad thing. Cozy feel. Bathrooms are well kept. Overall solid breakfast sweets place. My only complaint is the price of a simple cup of coffee. Almost $4. A bit steep.“

“Food and service were both top notch. JJ was our server and he made us feel like we were his only customers. He was friendly, quick, thoughtful, and knowledgeable of the menu. He was able to make great recommendations when we were unsure of what to order. The food was absolutely delicious! We had the special barbacoa bowl, lemon ricotta pancakes, breakfast tacos, Belgian waffle, specialty drinks, and eggs and bacon. Everything was made to perfection. Before we left we were already making plans to go back again!“

“A quiet retreat from the bustle of Colonial Williamsburg, the Dale House welcomes guests of the APVA-owned side of Historic Jamestown for a bjte to eat and deink alongside of the James River. The caterer at the Dale House is exceptional. Beer, fountain soda, coffee, hot tea, and other bottled beverages are offered. The pastries and sandwich breads are home baked. The soups, sandwiches, salads, and quiches are just the right ticket for lunch. I strongly recommend any sandwich on the croissant buns if they are available as a special!Just be sure to purchase the APVA ticket in addition to the fee for admittance to the National Park in order to access the Dale House. Recent changes have required both tickets to be purchased due to ownership division of Historic Jamestown by the APVA and NPS. But, a week long pass is well worth the price for returned admittance to enjoy the offerings and unobstructed Jame River view at the Dale House!“

“The thought and expertise put into putting this museum together is outstanding. Multi dimensonicial, multi screen video presentations are not to be missed. Great exhibition of artifacts. Start at the first room and progress chronologically. The outside exhibition of the Indian village and Jamestown settlement are supplemented by period costumed, knowledgeable reinactors. Outside, on the water of the replicas of the three ships that brought the settlers to the American shore. All guides answer all your questions. Highlight of my seven day visit.“

“Whimsical, charming, offbeat — as if Alice, the White Rabbit, and the Cheshire Cat got together to start up a cafe. Large selection of freshly-baked croissants, quiches, and other pastries complement a broad selection of coffee and bar beverages. Owners and staff are extremely friendly, making everyone feel like a regular. Comfy seating all around; each corner from the sunlit upstairs to the humorous restroom has plenty of character. Come for a relaxing visit.“

“Good food and friendly service. The pancakes were really good. We ordered the country fried steak plate (special on the front blackboard, not on regular menu), chocolate chip pancakes, 2-2-2 plate and the breakfast burrito. The breakfast burrito was very small, like for kids, so don't expect big portions. It tasted good though.“
