Sides especially seasonal side are to die for. 4.3 or whatever stars is really understatement for people who do not understand or do not like real bbq. Reminds me of my visit in Austin TX. My favorites are briskets (sliced or chopped) and pulled pork. Ribs are same as Texans, too peppery for my liking. Prefer sweet ribs.”

“Amazing atmosphere, superb service, hidden gem. Sushi Kaunta is the best sushi/sashimi that I’ve had in the PNW and is on par with the same quality/tastes that I’ve had from other similar restaurants in Asia. I came across the restaurant online and thankfully the owner was able to help me with a table for one. The owner is extremely nice and provides personable service. I had the chef’s choice nigiri and ordered two additional pieces off of the menu, every bite was fresh and extremely delicious. Highly recommended and I look forward to when I can come back again! Definitely reach out in advance for a reservation and follow the clear directions on the website to make a reservation.”

“3 main things people look for: 1. Customer service: I was greeted with a very warm welcome from the owner. I was also taught a few things & given great advice on tea! 2. Product: Fresh tea!!!! Weighted tea is not only the most beneficial form of tea, but the overall freshness of the outsourced tea speaks for itself. 3. Cleanliness & Ambiance: Very clean & organized. The atmosphere is very purposeful. Makes you want to do a tea tasting to fully immerse yourself in the experience being there. No other tea room has customer service & products as need based as Serenity Moon Tea. You can't call yourself a tea person if this is not a regular destination when you're in the area.”

“Our favorite little ramen / Japanese restaurant in Puyallup. The waitresses are always super friendly and attentive. The restaurant is small and quaint but clean and comfortable. There is a small parking lot in the back and a few stalls in the front. Their black garlic ramen is always our favorite.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and offer little children's bowls and scissors for children to eat.”

“I would like to share some thoughts on this place of dining. This one stands apart from most other Indian establishments in that the ambiance(5/5), food(4.8/5) and service(4/5) were all very good and worthy of a review. Selection of dishes are great although I am only accustomed to only about 38% of the menu items. It is difficult to stray from our favorite dishes. We purposely ordered more than our share so we could have leftovers for the next day. I just wish we ordered another basket of non. Portions of all of it were above average in size which of course I appreciate! Rogan Josh was exceptional.A great thing is that they have a nice bar and are open late! Noteworthy is the somewhat confusing parking situation and elusive entrance. Parking on south side of hotel and the restaurant is to the left of the lobby upon entrance. We first parked at the hotel side and walked around like fools for a few minutes before we found out to get back in the car and drive back to the proper entrance. Learn and live I guess.”

“nooot really sure how we ended up here... and my tummy's so happy we did. the beef pho broth was perfectly tasty, the flavorful basil ginger chicken spiced just right. the provided tea counteracted the sleepy atmospheric music. service was prompt & accurate. am not from the neighborhood but if i was, i'd be a regular. what else could you want?”

“This is quite tasty pizza. We tried the pizzas that we probably couldn’t get at most places a.k.a. the Indian flavored pizzas. They were delicious, but I could’ve used even more Indian flavor. We tried that chicken tikka and butter chicken varieties and the chicken was beautifully flavored, and we loved the cilantro and bright flavors of the pizza. The crust was pretty good too. The small is the size of a one person pizza or so. We also tried the paneer pakoras but were not in those as much. Couldn’t taste the salty snap of the paneer. There are some interesting sodas from India, additional beverages, snacks available too. The space inside is big enough to dine in but parking is a bit tricky as it’s located around the block at the attached apartment building.”

“I don’t ever leave reviews on Google, but I almost cried because this was some of the best food I’ve ever had. We are vegan and the options were phenomenal. All super fresh. Not mushy like some places. Crunchy freshly cooked veggies (but not raw) and immense flavors. The staff was super helpful and attentive. This is my new comfort food. We got the aloo baingan, bhindi masala, and aloo flatbread. The server also suggested some naturally vegan starters for next time and I can’t wait to try them. We will absolutely be back over and over.”

“stopped by on a whim as I drove down west valley highway and I was very pleased with the service and food! ordered lumpia, crispy pork belly combo and a brown sugar boba and I was blown away! the crispy pork was beyond good! came with a Mac salad some diced veggies and a wonderfully flavored rice with green onion. the lumpia was freshly made and the boba complimented everything. 10/10 would recommend”

“I picked up a cake for my boyfriends birthday. On my way home, someone decided to turn into my lane while I had the right of way. I had to slam on my breaks, and the cake went flying. Somehow, this cake was SO SOLID it stayed in tact. Hardly anything happened to it. A little mark you can see in the picture. I was so relieved, I'm thankful they make such sturdy cakes! “I ordered four drinks: Matcha blended with pearls, Nutella Puff Cream Milk Tea with pearls, Strawberry Lemonade and Peach Kiwi Lemon Tea with green tea. I'm a big fan of Matcha and this drink was perfect on the ratio of milk to matcha. The Nutella Milk Tea was creamy and nutty. The strawberry lemonade was refreshing. I'm not a big fan of peach flavor but the kiwi in the Peach Kiwi tea was delicious. Drinks were reasonably priced. I highly recommend trying this place out!”

“came here on the way down to golf in tacoma. in korea soup and rice is a common breakfast, so my parents and i were thankful they were open relatively early. everything was amazing - soup hearty without being overly fatty, and all the side dishes were homemade and amazing (better kimchi than my mom's, and they also had marinated squid which is so good with the soup). they even shared a spicy pepper condiment to eat with the meat in the soup that was amazing!family running the place was super nice, and they came by to make conversation and see how we liked our meal. the way the restaurant was set up, also looked like a great place to get some food and a hearty meal after work with friends. will definitely come by every time we pass through federal way!”
