I was a little disappointed, and decided to get the steak quesadilla. They weren't skimpy with the meat and cheese and you are able to add other ingredients into it; I also added rice and black beans. So, it was a pretty thick quesadilla. My friend and I shared it, and it helped hold me over for the rest of the night.”

“We've loved the Rock since we moved here, but wanted to add another review because we went tonight with our two small children and they couldn't have been more accommodating. We ordered one kids pizza for our kids to share and they cut it into extra pieces to make it easier for small hands to pick up. It also came out warm, but not hot, so my kids could eat it immediately. Anyone who has small children knows how rare it can be to get food at a temperature little ones can eat immediately. We will definitely make this a family night place!”

“A great local business with the fun gimmick of serving your teas and drinks in glow up lightbulbs. Not once have I encountered poor service at this location, nor subpar drinks. The smoothies are great, as are the Boba options.The price can be a slightly high, but considering the quality of the drinks and the fact you can refill the lightbulb at a discount, it can actually become rather affordable if you plan on returning, something I highly recommend doing!”

“stopped by on a whim as I drove down west valley highway and I was very pleased with the service and food! ordered lumpia, crispy pork belly combo and a brown sugar boba and I was blown away! the crispy pork was beyond good! came with a Mac salad some diced veggies and a wonderfully flavored rice with green onion. the lumpia was freshly made and the boba complimented everything. 10/10 would recommend”

“This is by far my favorite pho restaurant in Auburn, it might even be my favorite restaurant, period, in Auburn. The friendly staff and casual atmosphere left me feeling all warm and fuzzy. I wish every restaurant experience could be this way. I felt almost like I was having dinner at a friends house. The owner dropped by our table to check on how we liked the food and she was both courteous and friendly. She answered all my questions about their bubble tea, and then I ended up getting some to go (guava with jelly) along with a second order of lumpia (which is decidedly not Vietnamese, but delicious anyhow). The restaurant is clean and it seems like the staff are keeping up on all the Covid-related cleaning, sanitizing, and social distancing practices. It’s so nice to have found a place in Auburn that feels homey and serves such flavorful food. If you are looking for a great place to get lunch or a fun date night, or even a place to take the whole family, look not further, this is your spot. You might even see me there, quietly slurping and being happily content, if only for the duration of my bowl.”

My son loves the ramen. My younger twins like their burgers& fries. I'm a big fan of the Bánh mì but I've had several different items on their menu and haven't been disappointed with any of them. The atmosphere ensures I will keep coming back. The owner is always kind and I appreciate seeing and feeling everyone getting treated with the same warmth. I think that sometimes the chef cooks the chicken a little too long as only one time I've had dry Katsu. If you want teriyaki in Auburn, I recommend this place as your 'go to' location.”

The hubs was jonesing for street tacos while my palate craved pupusas so this fit our cravings to a capital "T"! Once there we realized that their offerings also included house marinated chicharrón, crispy and juicy in perfect balance alongside yuca frita. My media naranja ordered tacos in pollo, puerco adobado and carne asada topped with a fresh squeeze of lime and homemade salsa roja - I just had to try the taco de lengua and a pupusa de loroco (a pre-colombian cultivar) y queso. Agua fresca "tutti frutti" and Jarritos de Tamarindo were the perfect thirst quenchers for our almuerzo big, barato y bueno.”

“Conveniently located near safeway. They use to have a killer lunch deal for $6.95 before Covid. Now it's 10.95. Menu is very small/ straight forward. I don't think you can dine in but I was planning on eating to go anyways. Ordered the chicken teriyaki and egg roll combo. Egg roll was crispy and had a good amount of filling of meat and cabbage. Sad though it was only one piece cut in half. The salad was just iceberg lettuce with white dressing. Teriyaki was good -- nothing special. Food came out quick. Overall a good portion size for one person but a bit pricy coming out of ~15$. I don't mind it though as it's supporting a family owned establishment”
