The woman in the front was so west and kind! It was not busy my food came quick and was so good!!! Oxtails were fat and juicy! I’m visiting Auburn and was scared to try a new soul food place but i made a good decision!!! 10/10
Accidentally came across this hidden southern soul food eatery. I was a little hesitant about the menu and not knowing a whole lot about southern food. And Wow!!! The service was down right friendly. Like being invited to a table with family. The food was served in portions that will not leave you wanting. The food was so flavorful the catfish was great. Every dish we ate here was amazing. From the collard greens, to the potato salad, to the light and fluffy hush puppies. My husband had a pulled pork sandwich that was the perfect mix of sweet and smoky - plenty of pork, on a pillow soft roll. I had a perfectly battered and fried piece of chicken and my favorite type of cornbread - sweet and cakey. Whatever you order, you can't go wrong. Don't be fooled by the humble trappings - this is 5 star food.
