“came here on the way down to golf in tacoma. in korea soup and rice is a common breakfast, so my parents and i were thankful they were open relatively early. everything was amazing - soup hearty without being overly fatty, and all the side dishes were homemade and amazing (better kimchi than my mom's, and they also had marinated squid which is so good with the soup). they even shared a spicy pepper condiment to eat with the meat in the soup that was amazing!family running the place was super nice, and they came by to make conversation and see how we liked our meal. the way the restaurant was set up, also looked like a great place to get some food and a hearty meal after work with friends. will definitely come by every time we pass through federal way!”

“We have been here every time we come to the Seattle area and it is so consistent. A few changes though since it's been a few years: - kimchi was spicier today! (Which we are happy with) - the dumplings were wrapped differently and filling a little less tightly wrapped The service was very sweet & the quality is so good. The Bay Area hasn't caught up with this place which is one of our favorites They added soondoobu and yukgaejang to the menu. Ambiance had sweet jazz playing my favorite!”

“I finally found good Mexican food that’s authentic in federal way. I found them while it was walking with Siri and I got their tamales that are Rajas with queso OMG They were so incredibly good. I give up buying tamales quite a while ago because I couldn’t find any good ones. They have great ones and they Agua is awesome. I can’t wait to go back for a torta ahogada!! I haven’t had one since I was in GDL!! Check them out they close a little early. She said 7 PM. They are so good.!!”

“I tried this spot for the first time today & I was very pleasantly surprised. The pho (noodle soup) was very good. The broth was rich and complex. The soup garnishes were very fresh with no bean sprouts that were even slightly brown! I ordered the large size and got a good amount of meat with my number five soup. There was a fair amount of onion green onion and cilantro in the bowl although I personally would’ve preferred a bit more it was a good amount. The only small complaint I had on the pho was that the noodles were slightly over cooked, and I did try them right away. They were barely overcooked it really wasn’t bad, but that was my only suggestion for improvement on this dish. This was only after one try and I’m sure it would be better next time and I will try again. The real star of the meal for me were the grilled pork spring rolls with peanut sauce. The spring rolls had a good amount of meat with chilled vermicelli noodles and veggies. The grilled pork was hot & seasoned perfection with lemon grass & other spices and the peanut sauce was very good with a hoisin sauce base. Other peanut sauces I’ve had in the past have been more peanutty and a little thicker which is also good but I enjoyed the sauce quite a bit. I would give the soup an 8 out of 10 and the spring rolls are 10 out of 10 the spring roll sauce also 10 out of 10”

“The strawberry and cream cheese croffle is amazing. You can’t go wrong with either the strawberry or Oreo bingsu either. Every single macaroon is amazing and is double the filling of a regular macaroon. The flavors are fun and they all look too cute or pretty to eat. All of the signature drinks are to die for and the teas are spot on delicious!”

“First time eating at Nami Sushi, and it did not disappoint! We ordered the small boat, which has 20 different items in the boat and 3 different kinds of rolls. We also ordered the tempura calamari and Agedashi with a side of Japanese beer (large bottle of Asahi). The wait staff are attentive and checked on us multiple times. The restaurant is clean and tables are nicely spaced apart, tables are cleaned immediately. The decor of this restaurant is pretty cool and unusual. We will definitely be back. Thanks Nami Sushi!”

“Went to this place on an early afternoon at 4pm. The place itself was empty and there was only 1 employee working. We got the Spicy Yangnyeom Chicken and the Kimchi Pork Belly Creamy Udon. The portion was very generous for the chicken. Also the size of their wings were big as well. The wings were very crispy despite having a lot of sauce on them. The creamy udon was very delicious with a generous amount of pork and tons of garlic which I love. To sum it up everything was delicious and service was great. Would definitely come here again.”

Ordered one each of their steak, chicken and shredded pork tacos (with rice and beans) and an order of chicken taquitos (these were crispy, lightly fried and flavorful). Our tacos were crafted just right with the pork and chicken being my faves (in that order). All three generously topped with onions and the veggie mix atop was fresh and flavorful. Excellent handmade chewy but crisp corn tortillas and flavorful hot sauces.”

Coffee here is delicious and the food we've had is so good. My son LOVES the muffin top with the icing swirls. Lots of options, different drink options also. The sea moss is amazing and took away all my autoimmune symptoms after two months of taking it!!”

Because we deliver them uncooked, and secondly, we always try to be a special customer, so we expect the prices to be somewhat lower. “When it comes to fast food mexican restaurants, Taco Time is my all time favorite! A fixture in the Pacific Northwest for longer than I've been alive, they keep their quality standards high across the board. The ingredients are as locally sourced as they can be and they even have a nice revolving seasonal menu. In the summer months when romaine lettuce is bountiful, they offer a chicken caesar salad or a chicken caesar burrito. Both of which are a little on the pricy side but delicious just the same. Now that fall has taken over and the air is chilly, try their white corn chowder with or without chicken. It's sure to warm you up fast. If that's not hot enough for you, they make their own salsas and hot sauce and they've added a new set of burritos to the menu that are here to stay. The crisp chicken habanero and the regular chicken habanero. They have that spicy kick that you're looking for. I did notice the last time I ordered the tostado salad that they have made the shell a bit smaller but I was just as full all the same after I was finished so I won't really complain. They have raised their prices a bit over the last couple of months and if they are shrinking portion sizes at the same time, I will be very disappointed. One thing that I love about Taco Time is there commitment to the environment. They were one of the first and only restaurants to start separating their trash into recycling, composting and plain garbage. They've even gone so far as to supply nearly 100% biodegradable materials so that you can compost almost all of it instead of it going to a landfill. They are probably the only restaurant doing so south of the Sodo district too. Now if they could make the opening to the compost bins a little bigger than a football, I could actually get the trash in the bin and not all over the floor. Taco Time boasts that they don't use scales or weigh out their ingredients. Instead, they prepare your meal based on a recipe and this shows. Some employees get the recipe just right while others are very liberal with the ingredients and then others hold back a bit. If I've ever had a problem with a Taco Time location, it would be my portion size or the treatment from the employees but even when those are bad, the food is still amazing! Give Taco Time a try and you'll see. Thanks for reading.”

It was just the principle of the lady who helped me that day saying she used oat milk when she didn't and allergies are a serious matter. “I only found out this place exists from a work friend. It's kinda hidden at the back of a strip mall area and is very unassuming. Interesting menu with all kinds of stuff but I stuck with the mandu. This place should be having booming business but it was pretty quiet when we were there. My picky wife even loved it and said we should come back. Get in here and give it a try.”

“We have been eating at this same location for many years with our kids and grandkids. We were very happy when it opened up again under a new name after the "pandemic" caused the Old Country Buffet to go out of business.Of course, like everything else in this area the price went up. When we first went here after it opened up, we were happy with the selection and quality of the food, and the friendliness of the employees.On our visit today, the food was still pretty good although some of it tasted like it had been stored for quite a while and was dried out. The salad bar had fresh vegetables... Before we got home my stomach started gurgling and I started having very bad gas. We were going to make a couple of stops, but decided against it.I have been laying around since we got home to try and get my stomach settled.The drinks are now behind a tall wooden fence that goes all the way around the dispensers with gates that say, "employees only". Most fast-food places have drink dispensers where you can fill up your own drink. When an employee brings you a drink it is in a very small cup... maybe 10 ounces? The whole situation is very cheesy.The price charged was more than what it says on the website and then in addition to the 10% sales tax... there is an additional 5% "living wage charge". I believe this is not a "tax", but a surcharge to help cover the $17.25 that employers with less than 500 employees must now pay to unskilled workers. In addition, they try to get you to charge an 15% or 20% tip on your credit card. This is kind of typical these days... but not exactly appropriate for this type of establishment. We left some money on the table which has been are practice for the last 30 or 40 years at this location.I had a partially completed punch card that gave a free meal after 5 were purchased. When I handed it to the cashier to get it punched, he replaced it with one that gives a free meal after 10 meals purchased.I have to admit to being a little grumpy because of my stomach pain... The place was mostly empty... and I no longer have a warm and fuzzy feeling about going back. After all these years of going here... we plan on going to a nearby casino that charges a little bit more but provides better service, food, and atmosphere. I do not see how they are going to stay in business.”
