“Every year our tradition on Halloween consists of trick or treating in Cascade and picking up a bacon cheeseburger pizza from Nevvo’s Pizza after we finish. Their C/B Pizza is absolutely amazing and unique to their restaurant. Their little shopfront is very cute and a nice addition to downtown Cascade. Very professional looking place and great service. They also have Cedarcrest ice cream for sale in their store. I love this place and so does my family.”

“So...1st (but NOT last) time here. The food was absolutely top notch. My husband & I split the Reuben melt Special & 2 sides (poppers & onion rings). I asked for some horseradish & Mayo on the side, so I could mix up the reuben sauce that I prefer. The staff was awesome & had no problem accommodating my request. The sandwich was one of THE BEST Reubens that I have ever had. We both had a cocktail with dinner, & they were also crafted to perfection. Compliments to the chef! The view of the sun setting over the lake was a stunning pink/orange perfection. The restaurant is receiving some upgrades, which they hope to have completed for the summer season. Can't wait to( and plan to) go back! Highly recommend you stop & check this little gem out!Parking: Maybe about 14-20 parking spots, & then some available along the road.Wheelchair accessibility: You could wheel a w/c down & into the restaurant.”

“My girlfriend & I were looking for a place to eat & study for school. A lot of cafés have environments suitable for studying but at the cost of good food. The Hub met both of these needs for us.It was a peaceful environment with large tables (great for laptops and notebooks). The menu is extensive and we were pleased with the numerous soups they had on special today. Our food came out quickly and with warm service. A special thanks to Chris for taking care of us with enthusiasm.”

“Parking: On street parking and lot parking both free ..no over night though..usually carry out ...call before for added time saving...it's popular so keep that in mind...these folks are good people trying to give you great food and service.”

“Jen and the team at Bettersweet are the absolute best! What I wanted for a birthday cake was unusual and not everyone’s cup of tea. Jen took my ideas and made a cake so beautiful I didn’t want to cut it! Not only was the cake gorgeous- it tasted amazing. She also decorated the cupcakes inspired by the cake theme. I wish I had found Bettersweet much earlier. I can’t recommend them enough!”

The food was fantastic, good price for the amount of food you get, super friendly owner/staff, large and clean dining area, clean parking lot, overall a great experience. “Employee Jack brought my order out to my car for my mobile order and he was the most kind and respectful worker I have seen at this location. He greets you with a hello and a smile, and reads off your order to make sure that everything is correct. Very impressed with his customer service skills and genuine kindness! “Linda and I totally love this place. The beers are totally ice cold. The owner bill is fabulous and outgoing. And also, if you're looking for any eclectic knick knacks for your house, go to the back room if he doesn't have the 1 hubcap for Edsel, somebody else must have just purchased it. Coca-Cola signs baseballs photos memorabilia antiques galore in collectibles The rotating hams beer signs if he doesn't have it, it wasn't made back in the day. Go there and enjoy this quaint little historic place.”

“Service was friendly and excellent. The food was excellent! Priced at a value; three Perch dinners for $50. Just like in the "Cheers" theme song, I'm pretty sure everyone in there knew everyone else's name. Restrooms are only twice the size of an airline restroom. Better not be claustrophobic!”

This is not the place for craft cocktails but let's be honest, you aren't stopping in for an espresso martini. Pool table in the adjoining room. Limited selection of food with a small table top pizza oven, chili, and hot dogs. Very friendly staff. Exactly what a small town Wisconsin tavern should be.”

“Excellent coffee! It’s difficult to go back to commercial grade grocery store coffee when the bag is empty. The owner/roaster is very responsive and knowledgeable. The coffee subscription is helping me gain a greater appreciation for the varied flavor profiles that specialty coffees have to offer. Highly recommend.”
