I also loved the atmosphere - bunches of little tables with friendly chatter and happy servers. “We had the pleasant experience of having Koffie Trader cater heavy appetizers at our recent gathering. WOW! The bourbon meatballs, gorgonzola stuffed mushrooms, water chestnuts wrapped in beacon, spinach cheese spanakopita and assorted desserts were a huge hit. “Jen and the team at Bettersweet are the absolute best! What I wanted for a birthday cake was unusual and not everyone’s cup of tea. Jen took my ideas and made a cake so beautiful I didn’t want to cut it! Not only was the cake gorgeous- it tasted amazing. She also decorated the cupcakes inspired by the cake theme. I wish I had found Bettersweet much earlier. I can’t recommend them enough!”

“I'm a local who has always heard their food was good but have never gone. Went tonight for their Thurs night $2.50 burgers, with the adult kids. We were not disappointed! Drinks were good & friendly bartenders! Had plain tater tots, delish! We will be back for tater bowls and more!”

“Growing up in the area my parents and I were curious to see The Hub Studio Cafe as we remember going to Laacks when the grocery store was still there. This is a small space designed for small gatherings - I wouldn't recommend bringing your party of twelve for lunch. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. You order at the counter - I'd love to see this switch to table service but understand that staffing may prevent that. The food was delicious. My mom and I both had the Moo Melt - great blend of flavors, lots of cheese. Possibly a bit too much cheese as it overwhelms the beef. My dad had the Chris' Lunch Sammie and thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband had a cup of soup and a salad and enjoyed both. We finished our meal with the salted caramel white chocolate chip cookies - don't skip these! Overall this was a delicious meal and we would stop again. I do think the prices are a bit high for the location; lunch (three sandwiches and a cup of soup/salad) for four people without anything to drink besides water was over $60. This is Johnsonville and that seems high for the area. It won't stop us from going back but it is something to be aware of before you go.”

He greets you with a hello and a smile, and reads off your order to make sure that everything is correct. Very impressed with his customer service skills and genuine kindness! “Every year our tradition on Halloween consists of trick or treating in Cascade and picking up a bacon cheeseburger pizza from Nevvo’s Pizza after we finish. Their C/B Pizza is absolutely amazing and unique to their restaurant. Their little shopfront is very cute and a nice addition to downtown Cascade. Very professional looking place and great service. They also have Cedarcrest ice cream for sale in their store. I love this place and so does my family.”

“I recently had lunch at the Bread and Bean Eatery. Cute place, great atmosphere, no problem with the service. The food is consistently good, however, on this visit I have to admit being a bit disappointed. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich. It is served with your choice of roll and chips. When it arrived at my table, it was mushy chicken salad (no chunks of chicken), on a pale but edible roll, and chips. No color on the plate, all white, fairly unappetizing. No lettuce or tomato on the bun. A table mate had soup and half a chicken salad sandwich. Her sandwich looked wonderful - including lettuce and tomato. The sandwich did not taste bad but I don't think I'd order it again.”
