“Our friend group recently hosted a small surprise birthday party at Burnaby Mountain Clubhouse in their boardroom. From the beginning inquiry process, to determining menu options and overall timing, including having to reschedule our date, Ella and her team were beyond helpful and exceptionally flexible and understanding in supporting us while planning our event. Ella and Mandy were very responsive throughout our communications, and Mandy and her staff were so helpful with the details during the morning prep before our event began. Stephanie was attentive to monitor and replenish our buffet foods during the event, as well as exceptionally taking care of each guest table. Very pleased with our experience and highly recommend this venue for whatever event you may need to plan — this is a great team you can trust to support you to help make your vision come to life, with beautiful options for spaces to accommodate different group sizes, and lovely floor to ceiling style windows for amazing natural light. Our privacy was also respected and maintained during our event. Overall, we are incredibly pleased with the Burnaby Mountain Clubhouse team’s service, communications, support and helping us create a beautiful event for our friend, and would happily recommend and book with Ella and Mandy for upcoming events. We highly recommend this venue, but even more so recommend this team of professionals!“

“we were a large group with 2 booths and a table. our server was Alex and he was welcoming each of us with a smile. He was very fast and efficient in his service skills. To handle a large group of over 18 people, he did a tremendous job. The food was good and the atmosphere wonderful. There is underground parking which is so convenient and you can take an elevator or the stairs right upto the restaurant.“

“I've visited this Cactus location multiple times and have tried almost every item on their menu. While Cactus may not be exceptionally extraordinary restaurant, it earns a solid 5-star rating from me due to its remarkable consistency. The food and drinks always meet a reliably high standard, and the service is consistently pleasant. If more restaurants maintained this level of quality, dining out would always be a great experience. The atmosphere is inviting, and the food quality is consistently good. The staff, including waitresses and hostesses, are always kind and patient. Moreover, the ambiance is good for various occasions—whether you're inviting someone on a date, enjoying a dinner with family, or just watching sports and having a few drinks and appetizers with friends.“

“I'm not a very social person. I would prefer to stay at home to watch a game.Browns is an amazing place with an amazing atmosphere. (Tj?)was our server and her service was impeccable and she was very punctual. The food was amazing, and the gyozas were so good!!! With all the screens to watch sports it sure made it easy to watch the game!The 2nd time we went to watch hockey,we had reserved a table with the most amazing view of their big screen. “Simple and good, nothing fancy except what a diner from the 60’s would have on the menu. Sitting down at small tables, you have the choice of views, one is the parking lot, and the other is one of the two indoor ice rinks where hockey teams play and practice. The nearby conversations are as interesting as are the people. “Old timers” who love the game and come here to talk sports while enjoying a smash burger made to perfection, or a tray of gooey mac n’ cheese, or even perogies. You gotta love it!You won’t break the bank here, but you will enjoy the food; and maybe a blueberry lemon slushie!“

The golf course is a sight to behold, with its lush greenery, strategically placed water hazards, and immaculate fairways and greens. When we're not golfing, we enjoy sitting at the outdoor restaurant, enjoying the sights and sounds of the course. The prices are very reasonable, and the food is delicious.As for the driving range, it's always nice to practice our swings and see how far we can hit the golf balls. The range is well maintained and has plenty of space for everyone. You can also rent clubs and purchase golf balls at the pro shop.The scenery is truly magnificent, with water fountains and a large lake that add to the serene atmosphere. It's a perfect place to relax and unwind. Whether you're a golf enthusiast or just looking for a peaceful retreat, this place is a must-visit.“

“For our recent staff meeting, we ordered our meals from the Market Crossing location. Mark took our order when I called in. He was very patient. We had a lot meals and he took the time to ensure everything was correct. Our order was ready for the exact time we requested and every meal was correct. Thanks Mark for taking the extra time .“

“It has been a while since we last dined at this restaurant. We went for Happy Hour yesterday & had a grand time - service by Celina was excellent. She is courteous, friendly & the food was delicious. Given the nature of our food, Celina was extremely considerate giving us extra paper napkins without us even asking her for it.“

“We had 2024 Mother's Day dinner with five family members @ Acqua Restaurant. The ambience was great. A bright dining room with patio, well ventilated, spacious table space. Vancouver Canucks and Edmonton Oilers playoff was on TV, but each dining table was far apart enough that you didn't hear loud noise. High quality food and good portion food with fair value: We had beefsirloin, lamb shank, chicken supreme and 2 West Coast Salmon, all savory and with nutritious vegetables. Prices for cocktails, alcoholic drinks, and desserts are reasonable: Acqua Sapphire, Old Fashion, Stoneroad Rose, P49 Lager. Molten cake, mango berry cheesecake, Spanish Coffee, ice cream with berries are all delicious. The waiter was very polite with a smiley face and patient to wait for our order. Food was served hot temperature. The waiter gave us a complimentary pot of purple African daisy flowers for Mother's Day gift. The Acqua Restaurant is in the Executive Hotel and Conference. The restaurant provides free parking. The restaurant is good for business meetings and meal gatherings. I have attended a few payroll seminars in the Executive Hotel.“

“We took my girlfriend here with my family since she never been to a white spot before. We all got the Legendary Burger with fries while my sister got mac and cheese. They also gave us extra fries because they accidentally gave my sister regular instead of yam fries. Staff were extremely friendly and were pleasant to talk to.“

Wings are fantastic well done, we ordered 5 different ones and no complaints. The atmosphere is pretty noisy being a sports bar. Hard with the parking but you can park on the street and walk. I definitely go back just for the wings, we did not try other things“

But yo, they gotta step up their game with them closing hours, ya feel me? 10pm is straight-up wack, like, we need them to keep it poppin' 'til late-night hours. Overall, White Spot in Kensington at North Burnaby is a dope spot for some tasty eats and top-notch service.“
