“We loveeeee coming here for the ambiance, the friendly staff, the delicious food. It’s all exceptional especially Dylan the server who is the coolest server ever. I made a joke to my partner about comparing him to servers in general because we’ve had such a bad go the last few years with customer service in Vancouver. It’s been really disappointing it almost makes you not want to go out anymore but thennnnn you come across a guy like a Dylan…who’s extremely passionate about his work and it’s noticeable and it changes your mind ! Way to go Dylan !!“

“Been planning to visit Pastameli for many months and finally the perfect day and night presented itself, accompanied by a Lasagna craving. So we popped in late afternoon and received a nice little booth at the back of restaurant. Server Kaitlynn was prompt and friendly to get us water and take our order. We ordered the beef Lasagna and the Fungi flatbread she recommended. The wait for food was a little longer than expected, however we’ll worth the wait. Food was delicious and the flatbread was so yummy with the perfect flavour combinations. There is also a nice little outdoor terrace as well as a little pizza ? shop upfront with a bar area for grabbing a quick drink. All in all, a great and very reasonable dinner. We will certainly be back to try the other interesting dishes they have to offer“

“We went to Milestones to celebrate two birthdays! Our waitress was Sophie and she was fantastic ! Very accommodating and did a great job looking after our table. I had their Caprese Crispy Chicken Sandwich; it was pretty good. I do think they need a revamp of their menu though. More carb friendly items, fish & chips would be a great add on and some different chicken sandwiches! I also think they need to change the front doors on the restaurant entrance; its just two doors with wood and not inviting. Sometimes it looks like their closed.“

“Always good food excellent bar service I always have the lettuce wrapps, then a steak mr with prawns. Good, but not as good as the keg for the price. Let's face facts, nothing as good as the keg and there will never be a place.Parking: Big parking lot for many businesses in the area“

“I had the Bangkok bowl with sautéed shrimp and it was fantastic. Happy hour prices from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. We hit this at the perfect time. Super friendly and beautiful staff.“

“We finally had the chance to dine at Anna Lena. We booked ahead of time through their website as I think they discourage walk-ins or gets fully booked. Every dish is so good and prepared with great detail. I can't even say which one was my favourite. Service was superb. They all took turns to serve and they know every detail about the food and wine origins. It's like a farm to table fine dining concept.Presentation at its best. I think the Oyster and foie gras was one of my favourites. The fluffy snow flakes of shaved foie on the oyster was merely a touch of savory richness, along with a touch of acidity from compressed apple and a hint of heat from jalapeno mignonette, together they help showcasing the oyster as the big star, front and centre. Not mentioning the box it was in had a smoke when they opened it and I was awed. Wagyu was nicely prepared. Hokkaido scallop with that hot soup mushroom sauce was nostalgic and very good. The Noix de Saint Jacques Homard Pêches Chanterelles dessert was very delicious. I could still go on and on but theres too many dishes about 12? I forgot.We had the tasting menu for $148/pp and the wine pairings for I forgot how much and some cocktails. Oh, the cocktail drinks are all so good. The mug was like a lego brick which was kinda cool too. Overall, I paid about $500sh which includes the tip and taxes for 2 people. It was super worth it!!! Its a true dining/ culinary exprience. I left with a happy heart, very full, tipsy, in-love, and felt like I travelled to different places overnight. I won't hesitate to come back.Ps my photos wont do justice to the food and experience I had. The place was darker so lighting for photo is not the best.“

“We are visiting here for a trip to Alaska . Today was our second dinner here because our group liked it so much the first time .The food is excellent . Service is great . The staff is very kind and courteous and the view is magnificent if you get a seat on the Patio .We felt great both times .This is a must visit if you are in North Vancouver .Keep it up team ?“

“Bopping place, great location in gastown, great ambiance, service was amazing - staff very well trained (i used to be in the industry). Food was excellent - very creative and a bit 'different' so it makes for a unique dining experience - the flavours were amazing, portions a good size ( i had anticipated them being small but they ended up being the perfect size at least for me!). I would definitely recommend this restaurant!“

“They treated us like royalty, when I made the reservation I had said it was my wife and I's wedding anniversary and as soon as we arrived they were on top of it, free champagne and very capable and intuitive service. Very friendly and outgoing but not smothering or annoying. They were there when needed but gone when they were not so that I could enjoy a private, romantic evening with the love of my life, the food was delicious and the drinks were perfect , all in all it was a wonderful and memorable night and I would recommend to anyone looking for a top of the line dining experience when it comes to not only grade "A" cuisine ,but service second to none that I have had the pleasure of receiving thus far! “Everything was great. Werewolf drink was so effing delicious!! Never had anything like that before. Wine prices were too high. Room was very noisy. Hard to hear the waiter's description of the plates. Simple room treatment could solve this issue. Would recommend for sure!“

““The” spot to watch the big game downtown especially with a group of friends. Fantastic ambience with the large TV screens, sound system, and layout/decor. Regular menu is very tasty and reasonably priced, and happy hour/daily features are awesome value. Service is consistently great. Can't really ask for more from a sports bar!“

“We recently celebrated my husbands 40th birthday with an amazing dinner at Nightingale! There were 12 of us and had a family style dinner, which every plate that came out was amazing. “This was my second time visiting. I really enjoyed my first visit, so I expected this one to be good too.We initially sat on the patio, but I found the vibe there wasn't particularly special. Personally, I preferred the atmosphere downstaris.For food, we ordered the Aranchini and Tofu bowl. We waited a while for our food, and when it finally arrived, the food was already lukewarm. But in terms of taste, both were good, especially the Tofu bowl, which I really enjoyed.Regarding service, my friend wanted a sweeter white wine and asked the server a recommendation. She decided to get the recommended one, but soon after, he brought a red wine instead, saying it was the sweetest wine they had. She accepted it, but it was very unexpected and a little bit absurd since she asked for white wine, and he didn't confirm if she was ok with red wine. After we changed our table to inside, the service was fine.Overall, it was a bit of a disappointing visit. I was a server and I found out when Ishowed up to work and found out it was my last shift, and i was going to be unemployed without any notice. the owner is terrible! shame on him. “Homer St Cafe is always a treat, busy, noisy on a Sunday morning and fun. The service was excellent and the staff are pleasant, it was my Birthday and two of the waiters offered up a lovely rendition of Happy Birthday. Food was well prepared but cold when it arrived at the table, the portion was large and I took half of it home and reheated it, tasted much better hot! I would still recommend Homer St., it’s a bit of an institution, housed in a well preserved historic building in downtown Vancouver and well worth a visit.“

“One of the best places to dine in Vancouver.Intimate, cosy with a great wine list. I've dined here more than a few times since they open and my last visit was by far the best. As the menu often rotates, it's always a great surprise each time.Dishes are heavily Asian influence, and the menu always includes a crowd favorite, the turnip soup. Although I feel like the portion of my last visit got a bit smaller, it didn't take away the incredible moment of sipping on the creamy (but with no dairy) deep turnip soup.Another outstanding plate during this visit was this onion and tuna dish. That onion alone stole the show. It was sweet, tender and every layer tasted different from the one before.Lastly wow the Charentais melon ice cream was the perfect way to cap the dinner. Same melon, done 4 ways. “The boards are such a creative delicious concept and beautifully displayed. We selected the olives, Brussel sprouts and smoked brie. The olives and Brussel sprouts were the standouts. Then we had the ahi + avo and katsu tacos for our main. Probably didn't need them as the board is quite filling but glad we got to taste them. The flavor of all the deconstructed taco accompaniments was amazing. Our server Adrian was great! I would definitely come back.“

“Took my fiance there for his birthday yesterday. The hostess, our waitress, and the manager (I believe) came by and asked us how our experience was going - which was very sweet/noticed. The atmosphere was super romantic (we sat at the patio upstairs), so that was lovely. The only downside was that if you sit on the patio upstairs, they don't serve the Happy Hour menu. Apart from that, we had a great experience overall. The food was also very delicious!“

“My wife and I chose Fable to celebrate our joint birthdays with our kids. We shared chickpea fritters, which were great. Our mains included steak, duck, stealhead trout and pork belly. All were excellent but the pork belly was the best. Our sides included asparagus, broccolini and roasted potatoes. Again, all were great but the potatoes were excellent. All our cocktails were excellent as well.“
