“Food was absolutely delicious“

“We went to Milestones to celebrate two birthdays! Our waitress was Sophie and she was fantastic ! Very accommodating and did a great job looking after our table. I had their Caprese Crispy Chicken Sandwich; it was pretty good. I do think they need a revamp of their menu though. More carb friendly items, fish & chips would be a great add on and some different chicken sandwiches! I also think they need to change the front doors on the restaurant entrance; its just two doors with wood and not inviting. Sometimes it looks like their closed.“

“I have Celiac disease so can't eat any gluten or anything cross-contaminated with it and our server Mariah was really knowledgeable and helpful in assisting me in finding something I could eat on the menu. It's always such a relief when someone understands and I get to eat something more than just a salad. Kudos to Mariah and the kitchen staff for making my awesome ski day even more awesome!“

“We finally had the chance to dine at Anna Lena. We booked ahead of time through their website as I think they discourage walk-ins or gets fully booked. Every dish is so good and prepared with great detail. I can't even say which one was my favourite. Service was superb. They all took turns to serve and they know every detail about the food and wine origins. It's like a farm to table fine dining concept.Presentation at its best. I think the Oyster and foie gras was one of my favourites. The fluffy snow flakes of shaved foie on the oyster was merely a touch of savory richness, along with a touch of acidity from compressed apple and a hint of heat from jalapeno mignonette, together they help showcasing the oyster as the big star, front and centre. Not mentioning the box it was in had a smoke when they opened it and I was awed. Wagyu was nicely prepared. Hokkaido scallop with that hot soup mushroom sauce was nostalgic and very good. The Noix de Saint Jacques Homard Pêches Chanterelles dessert was very delicious. I could still go on and on but theres too many dishes about 12? I forgot.We had the tasting menu for $148/pp and the wine pairings for I forgot how much and some cocktails. Oh, the cocktail drinks are all so good. The mug was like a lego brick which was kinda cool too. Overall, I paid about $500sh which includes the tip and taxes for 2 people. It was super worth it!!! Its a true dining/ culinary exprience. I left with a happy heart, very full, tipsy, in-love, and felt like I travelled to different places overnight. I won't hesitate to come back.Ps my photos wont do justice to the food and experience I had. The place was darker so lighting for photo is not the best.“

“We phoned yesterday, made a reservation for a birthday dinner today at 5:30 PM, confirmed verbally on the phone. We showed up at 5:30 PM and they turned us away, saying they had no reservation. We showed them the phone number that we phoned yesterday to make the reservation. The phone number was on our phone, confirming that a phone call had been made. We recounted to them the conversation, including the discussion about the fact that it was a birthday and reminded them of the discussion about having a dessert with candles. Nobody recalled the conversation and we had to leave because they were fully booked. they tried to assert that our reservation had been for the previous day and that she even recalled serving a woman yesterday with the same name, a birthday.“

“We took couple of pizzas on our way home. The flavor was awesome and easily one of the best in town. Noticed that the crust was thin but remained crispy/chewy in a good way compared to typical Neapolitan pizza dough. Wondering if the dough has more gluten content?“

“This is such a nice place. We sat outside and the had the heater on. The waiter and hostess were very kind. The oysters were very good and the portion for the fish and chips was perfect. “Can't recommend this place enough. I have been here a handful of times and each time is better than the last. The food is amazing - I have tried the chicken and veggie bryanni which are both very flavourful. Their appetizers - gol gappe, momos, and fried cauliflower are also delicious. The portions are great and the service is wonderful!“

We got a few snacks but none of the cooked food so I can't speak to that. “This place out did any expectations I had.Absolutely awesome atmosphere, I loved the décor! A metal pub is not something you see everyday and boy do I wish there were more of these because I loved it!The food was delish. The staff was very nice-it was an extremely busy night of a heavy metal concert not far from them. And price-wise it was pretty affordable for portion size and quality of food. “We are a party of 4 and tried the chef's menu for dinner. There were 3 appetizers, 3 main courses, and 1 dessert. It's served family style. Everyone liked the octopus dish because it was very well done and soft. However, we found all the food a bit too salty, except for the dessert. Portion was good for 4 people.Parking: There's free 2 hours on the street. If you're unlucky, there's a paid lot close by.“

We came here on Sunday to watch Canucks against Oilers, were told by a server that no tables inside were available and were offered a table in their patio area. That wasn’t going to to be an option for us as the game was showing inside only. So a very lovely middle aged gentleman by the name of Bob has so kindly offered to share his table with us. We managed to organise 3 chairs from around other tables and joined Bob for a wonderful evening, enjoying drinks and food whilst watching Canucks win! Bob was a star, although he was an Oilers fan, he was so friendly and joy to be around, if anything, it is representative of the warmth of the place. Bob turns out to be a regular. I understand this review has pretty much became about Bob at this point, but don’t mistake it. If the place has friendly regulars like Bob, you absolutely should visit it. Definitely will be back soon!Food was delicious, I would highly recommend their curly fries, they’re freshly cut and fried, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and adequately seasoned. We also had spring rolls and chicken wings. Both were delightful.“

“Great spot. If only they opened up the patio to let bikes in. A lot of people don't feel safe leaving their bike on Broadway. It always comes up as a suggestion among our friend group as a place to meet, but we often go to Boxcar instead as they let bikes onto the patio.“

While the menu consists of only a handful of items, the items offered caters to all dietary needs and tastes. The food came out fast. Everything tasted fresh and the presentation was fantastic.
