“We arrived 20 minutes before they usually close on Sundays and we were informed that they closed early because they ran out of their stock. The barista however was nice enough to offer a free coffee since the till was closed. Starbucks employees sometimes go far and beyond to make sure customers" satisfaction is met. That is appreciated. “While there’s a lot to like about this Starbs, this morning they were pumping Toxic by Britney Spears and while I agree it’s a hot jam, 5am is not the time for Queen B. I used to take my book with me in the morning with the hope that I could do some reading, but sadly who’s ever choosing the music is still in clubbing mode from the night before on most mornings which doesn’t really set the mood. Missing the old jazz and indie playlists in general from Starbs which were incredibly curated and surprisingly erudite.“
“I think it depends on your luck, if you got a good cashier/ and barista. I had a good experience today because I am a coffee drinker but for once I need to order a drink to share with my toddler. The cashier, named Ace, gave a few options but the one he first thought of was double chocolate chip frap. Ie no coffee but just mocha syrup. It was a hit for the family. “While everyone most likely experienced Starbucks at least once in the past couple of years and already has an idea how it feels, I will say that I was very surprised on how good my experience was on my last visit. I was meeting with two potential business partners over coffees and even though we might have stayed longer than usual for clients (a couple of hours), we were offered samples of new items on the menu for free twice during our stay. These were great and one of them is now on my list of preferred items at Starbucks. Quiet location, clean, professional environment and great drinks and food at good prices. Need I say more?“

Otherwise on Friday or the weekend, I’ll find everyone is always working hard when studying and catching up with people, since this is a great place because it’s not too crowded in a large area. “As a tourist from Europe, I was pleasantly surprised by the uniquely kind culture of a canadian Starbucks. I was served by Dexter during my vacation, he was extremely nice and took his time to explain everything to me, gave me good recommendations and went beyond to make sure my order is perfect (Im suffering from food intolerances and he helped me). You could see that the clerks were trying their best to make every customer feel welcomed. I wish we had this more in Europe too.P.s. “I've been to many Starbucks in the past and I've never felt the need to leave a review for staff. This time it was different. I was helped by a lady named Lee (spelling?). She was friendly and patient when I was trying to decide what latte to order. She provided a recommendation for me that was really good without me having to ask. I got a matcha latte with a scoop of lavender powder. She was genuinely friendly and even said "thank you" to me after I ordered. I had a really great customer service experience because of her. “This is a kiosk, located in the food court. Although it's not a very big place, they have quite a few baristas and exceptionally quick. Although there was a long line up, they went through it very quickly. I decided to do a mobile order, when I saw the long line up and it was extremely fast as well. Kudos to them!“
