“My 2 little ones and I just came in here. The man working (presumably the owner) was extremely friendly and sweet to my to my son and daughter. The ice cream from (Foothills Creamery. est 1969) is unbelievably good. I can’t recall having had better ice cream in recent memory and my daughter agrees (son didn’t want any). An overall great experience.“

“We had part of our daughter's birthday celebrations at Duncan DQ. The team went above and beyond, served us 10 meals that were hot and all correct, they decorated the cake (on the spot) and served it with candles and all staff joined in singing HBD. Overall an amazing experience by the whole crew. Thank you. Will definitely recommend and be back.“
“Stopped in on our way home to Nanaimo from Victoria. Very cool little ice cream truck in the parking lot near the Thrifty Foods. We had a couple of sundaes. The Strawberry one was very good, but the Black Forest one was amazing. The ice cream is vegan but you would never know. It didn’t have a strong coconut flavour which I do not care for. The prices were reasonable, comparable to other home made ice cream shops. There is a nice shaded seating area and you would never know you are in a parking lot. We will be back when passing though.“

“As a SERIOUS Ice Cream 'addicted' person... I can honestly attest to the quality of the ice cream (Non Black Licorice' being my GO TO pretty much EVERY day!!.. to die for flavour!! “This is not your run of the mill hard ice cream. This is creamy, bright flavours, perfectly sweet without being overly sweet. The whole family loved it! Hands down the best ice cream we have ever had! The service is always impeccable. Friendly owner who very clearly takes pride in the quality!“
