We do not need a third dining experience to persuade us that we have found our go-to restaurant to celebrate special occasions or just being together. “Such a wonderful experience dining at Sempre Uno for the first time!The atmosphere was perfect. Some people were dressed casually, others a little fancier but no pressure either way. The staff greeted us right away and seated us at our table. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. I believe their outdoors is heated for the cooler days.Overall great layout.There’s an open kitchen and bar which is nice as well, feels very welcoming.Onto the service and food! The menu read very well, and it was hard picking. Our waiter recommended a few options, plus went through some daily specials which all sounded AMAZING.We ended up starting with the carpaccio, oysters (that were on special) and a classic ceasar salad.Everything was delicious. Our daughter had a smaller order of their Ragu bolognese and it was possibly the best bolognese we’ve ever had. (Highly recommend a full order!)For mains we had the Lobster Tagliarini , mussels/clams in a Yuzu curry base (was one of the appetizer specials) and Scallop and Prawn risotto. Every dish blew it out of the park. They were SO delicious. It’s hard to find a place where every single dish is a hit. This was it.For dessert we shared the lemon cheesecake and the Budino. Hard to pick which one was better but if we had to, the Budino!The service was also amazing. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly.The whole vibe of the place and staff were superb.We will definitely be back!!? ? ? ? ?5/5 experience (possibly even 6).Parking: Lower Lonsdale can be tough during peak hours but there is always the paid parking lots nearby if you can’t find free street parking. “What a great first experience I had at this restaurant tonight! I will definitely be back very soon. Beautiful presentation of our prosciutto, arugula + Burrata appetizer (delicious too) — if you’ve seen it — you know what I mean. The pizza was also absolutely divine.Everything we had was fabulous! Excellent food and service from start to finish. We had lots of questions about the menu, and the owner was very accommodating.We were lucky enough to try some passion fruit sorbetto Christina (one of the owners) was making, and I can honestly say that it was the best sorbetto I have ever had! Even better than I had in Italy!Can’t wait to come back to this spot and try some other menu items. Highly recommend! I’ve worked in hospitality for almost two decades, and I can say with confidence, that this place knows what they’re doing.“

“I had family from out of town, last night of her trip, decided to eat at Farina, it was amazing food, felt like being in Italy where fresh food is served , fresh, authentic, in not too big portions so you can share many different plates— entrees were sinfully good, followed by pasta and wine.., forget about the simple ambiance it’s all about the Italian experience of mouth watering food“

“Hadn't been to Bravo for years, after too many disappointments, but I returned after hearing that some of its long-time servers are now actually running the restaurant! You can see and feel the changes happening - a long overdue breath of fresh air. The Fettuccine Cascardi (chicken in lemon cream) was delicious. Looking forward to returning and sampling more of the menu. Hope they start using an online reservation system soon!“

“My wife and I went to this absolute gem of a place today for lunch today. It is like a 25 seater or so restaurant. We ordered Linguine Pesto, Veg Lasagna and Tiramisu. Everything was perfect. I requested for some customization to the Pesto, it was made just the way I requested. The pesto is obviously home made, one could feel it. The Veg Lasagna was perfect, so was the Tiramisu. During our previous visit we had a vegetarian Pizza - remember it being just right. The service is personal and top notch - the husband and wife pair who run the place are kind folks who are clearly passionate about authentic food and exceptional service. This is now our go to place for Italian food in North Van.Vegetarian options: They have a ton of options both in Pizzas and in Pastas. Probably, the widest selection of options for vegetarians in any Italian restaurant in Greater Vancouver region.“

“I found a very delicious Italian restaurant in North Vancouver on late Saturday night. I went there for the first time and ordered a safe dish meatball spaghetti, a slice of focaccia and white wine. The portion of the spaghetti was just right, and the focaccia was better than expected, so I ordered another piece of focaccia. What surprised me was that there was a gentleman performing live on Saturday, or weekend perhaps. The waiters interacted with every guest politely and confidence. Table, seats and washroom were very clean. I will try other dishes next time with family & friends next time.“

“well, i ordered from Deep Cove pizza in the cove and had a terrible experience. pizza online listed $26 but when i got there i was charged $39 - CRAZY!! the owner gave me a couple of lame excuses and stated she would not be dropping the price any amount. She offered NO apology for the misinformation and inconvenience so I left and drove to DJJ's. I was AMaZeD!! ordered the Traditional and it was absolutely deelish!! what a great discovery and i saved myself $3 too! DJJ's is now my go to!!i subsequently read the deep cove pizza reviews and it appears they have been misinforming customers for some time now. Shame on them!!“

“I can't rant and rave enough about Nook. The food is always outstanding, made to order fresh and perfectly cooked. They are so helpful and willing to take in dietary restrictions without hesitation. The team of servers are not only friendly but well informed, and super attentive. We love coming to Nook, we know we will be treated with warmth and welcomed in with enthusiasm to enjoy their flavorful food. You can tell they are being led by inspiration and it shows! Kudos to the management team for bringing in such electric and passionate servers.“

“This is one of the best Italian restaurants on the North Shore if not Vancouver. Quattro's was a local institution on Lonsdale. They move the restaurant to Marine Drive when construction hit the area. Service is excellent. Food is excellent. We are blessed to have such amazing food without having to cross the bridge.“

“Such an awesome place. They have a wonderful selection of meats, cheese, olives and dry goods. The smoked olives are chefs kiss! They also serve tasty sandwiches and cappuccinos. Most folks get their sandwich to go, but you can eat there as they now have tables and chairs outside.“
