“My experience at Savio Volpe was amazing! I have always wanted to try this restaurant ever since i’ve heard of it few yrs ago but unfortunately couldnt get in coz it’s hard to make a reservation. Glad i was able to get in this time. Me, my husband, my mom and in laws came over to celebrate our bday at this restaurant and it really surpassed our expectations. Our fave were the maple farm half chicken, primrose pork belly with scallops and green apple puree, tiramisu and amaretto bday ice cream! It was def chef’s kiss! Shout out to Steve for constantly checking on us making sure we were ok and we were enjoying our meal. We would love to go back again sometime in the future.“

“I was invited for a wedding dinner and I was also doubling up as the Photographer. Great place and ambience for photography. Food tasted great. Service was a bit slow. Food price is a bit on the expensive side being a Street Food style restaurant.“

“Ok. We finally tried Oca.We tried to make it for 5pm but was tied up. Got there by 545. Put our names on the list and was told we would be for the 8pm seating. It was a rainy and windy Saturday so we decided to grab a bite of pizza and roam around. At times we wondered if it was worth the wait. It's only pasta after all. After careful deliberations, we decided to hand in there.We finally got the text and headed in.Very simple menu. Ordered the tortelli, spaghetti, and the bolognese. To be fair I was never a fan of stuffed pasta or bolognese.Tortelli came. The pasta was silky, it was perfectly al dente, it was smooth, it was soft, it was perfect! What sorcery is this?!?Spaghetti came. Picking it up with the tongs I felt it may have been too soft. It felt like worms or udon. Hopes were dashed a bit. Bit into it, perfect texture, perfectly creamy, wonderful!!Bolognese came. Again, never was a big fan of it for the lack of meatyness. The waft of the steam from the pasta mound made its way up my nostrils as they brought the plate. Immediately hit with the strongest braised meatyness. What the devil?! Twirled the coated noodles around the fork and into my mouth: the richness of the sauce that can only come from hours on the stove, the same silky smooth yet firm in the second half of the bite was simply perfection.I've had a lot of pastas in a lot of places. This one takes the cake. For those lucky enough to sit at the bar...the precision placed mirror acts like a TV screen giving you a real-time video of your pasta being made live for you.Keep up the amazing work here guys!!“

“Took part in a wine dinner. Food was good and well executed throughout. Wine pairings were good except for one of the dishes. Only downside was that the handkerchief pasta was getting cold when it arrived at the table but oh so delicious. Great evening overall!“

“This restaurant is a gem / we come here every time we visit Vancouver, sometimes twice! This time my husband and I shared a pasta tossed with mushrooms, a spicy red pepper and garlic. What made it truly remarkable were the mushrooms, which might have been picked 10 minutes before. Then we shared the duck breast entree, probably the best duck we've ever had! The portion size was generous, as one sandwich was enough to satisfy two people. The side of fried fries was a nice addition. “While in Vancouver the beginning of November for medical appointments. My wife and I were undecided on were to eat. We walked out of our motel. Looked across the street and saw the Italian Kitchen, we walked over and asked if they had any seats available, it was a very busy night ,got our seats and our sever was Sam he was very pleasant. My wife and I both so impressed with our meal. If we ever go back to Vancouver I know we're I will be eating.“

“Amazing experience. We’ve been to Impostori 5-6 times. Each time the food & service is top notch. The atmosphere is not old style Italian, I feel like I’m in a cool resto/bar in Milano or Firenze. We often try the daily specials and have never been disappointed. Sometimes i want to keep this place a secret so that I can always get a table, but that wouldn't be fair to Vancouverites.“

“Visited on a weekday. There's only one customer except us, but we waited 30 minutes for food without an explanation. We could also see a server and kitchen staff chatting a lot (loudest in the restaurant) and eating something in the open kitchen. If there are more customers, I was wondering how they can handle it.Service is dissapointing, but food was great, worth to try their pasta.“
