The place is nice and comfortable to have a good time and adding the kindness of the waitress Dani, made everything much better, she gave us the best recommendations and was aware all the time that nothing was missing, the staff was always very attentive and the whole place is clean:)“

“Visited on a Saturday night. Staff was great to help me reserve for a larger group of 6 people. Our server was lovely and very attentive. We all loved our food, cocktails and some had dessert that was well enjoyed. A tad pricy but I'd say very worth it for a special night out. I had the lamb shank and savoured it and have to say the polenta base that it came on was out of this world...never had anything like that. So good!“

“I've been to a lot of tasting rooms, and was very impressed how this one was set up. When ordering a flight, you're given printed tasting notes for each of the beers, arranged in a suggested tasting order. Great selection to choose from (including products suitable for people with gluten issues, like my wife!)“

“Probably my 8th time coming for wing night and I’ll definitely be back. Be prepare to wait but it is always worth it. Owner runs the door and he is friendly and funny despite the chaos. Sami was our server and by far one of the best servers I’ve ever had (and I’ve been in the service industry for years). We had a big group but she was accommodating, friendly, personable, quick and organized. The wings speak for themselves. Always happy to show new friends this spot. “We have eaten tapas all over the world at some very excellent restaurants but this was way and above anything we've had previously. The food was spectacular - every dish! Loved it.The specialty drinks were fabulous. We tried several. I liked the Honey Bee.You'd think the following menu items all sound a bit ordinary-they were anything but:Salt Cod Croquettes- just melt in your mouth delicious.Boquerones - white anchovies - super fresh and such a hit we put in a second order.Meatballs - moroccan spices and the tamarind make this dish sing.Grilled cauliflower - lovely and unusual.Paella de Marisco - not your usual heavy-on-the-rice paella, generous on the seafood and quite wonderful.Our party of 4 ordered and shared all 3 of the desert offerings. Couldn't decide which was best - they were all exceptional.Great service, too. I'd go back any day. Wish y'all weren't have a continent away.“

“Walked in alone randomly on a Wednesday night and was soothed by the relaxed atmosphere, lighting, music, etc. Pretty quickly noticed that the place was almost full of nothing but attractive ladies. Seriously was the only man in the place, and started thinking that maybe I was intruding in the kind of place that wasn’t intended for me if you know what I mean. Nope, it’s just a really vibey spot with fantastic beers that attracts attractive people.“

“Lovely view of the legislature, inner harbour, the Empress. Staff were efficient, pleasant, and helpful in accomodating our need for gluten-free and nut-free meals due to allergies. Nice lively atmosphere. Food was very good. I would return here for sure.“

“I traveled to Victoria for my daughters convocation and finally had the chance to dine at Little Jumbo. It was highly recommended by a friend and did not disappoint. From the wonderful appies to the delicious entrees we were delighted with the quality, service and atmosphere of this little gem. Our server, Travis was friendly and professional. He was easy to speak with and just an overall pleasant individual. Little Jumbo is a winner in my books.“
