My recent visit to Mountain steak & pizza left me deeply disappointed and dissatisfied with both the service and the overall dining experience. From start to finish, it was a series of letdowns that I cannot overlook.Once seated, it took ages for a server to even acknowledge our presence, let alone take our orders.Save yourself the disappointment and seek out a more worthy dining establishment.

Our plates were covered in lettuce. My Greek salad lettuce 2 tomatoes a few cucumbers and lettuce. $100 dollars on lettuceRather disappointing. Whitecourt is so much better than Edson. Also only 2 options for gluten-free unless you include plain noodles as an option. The people are nice though.

Let me say that this was the finest dinning that I have had the pleasure of. The friendly staff and service exceeded my expectations making this a great evening.This is definitely a place that needs to be checked out for delicious meals and not to mention the great atmosphere. Great place to stop for a bite. We had a pizza ~ lots of choices. Traditional and cheesy, YUM!!
WOW! I wish I could give 10 stars! We dined here 2 nights in a row. First night we had 9 people and they were able to tuck us in a nice little nook for privacy. The 2nd night we had about 20 people and again, they were able to accommodate us. The food was fabulous! The drinks were perfect especially the Mountain Mule! The staff and manager were super friendly and we will definitely be back when we visit Edson again! Thank you so much for everything! Yummy, yummy, yummy sums it up!

One of the best restaurants I've been to in Alberta.Real food, your baked potato comes with real bacon bits, real sour cream, and a good amount... not ont of those tiny cups.Every time I'm in Edson I try & make time to come here. And they aren't even overpriced..This place is a rare gem.

We strongly felt as if we were discriminated against. The staff wanted to move us twice to selected area to seat other guests at our table. We had a reservation. The guests of other racial makeup who came after us were immediately assigned a waiter. We waited over 30 minutes to have our drink or food order taken. VERY POOR customer service!

Great restaurant and best building! Food is excellent, service is amazing, knowledge of gluten-free and dietary restrictions is great as well!!I have the Chickens Slouvlaki with Greek salad. It was excellent! we also order gluten-free pizza and kids pizza and the kiddos. Love those as well. I tried one piece of pizza and it is very good for sure!! Not sure if the crust is made in house, but if it is, they do an awesome job of it!!Dietary restrictions: Great knowledge about gluten-free options. Even though the menu in Edson does not have the gluten-free symbols on it the one in Whitecourt does and they seem to be able to accommodate any of those options as gluten-free as well.
