“Came here for lunch arriving right around 12:30. It was busy, but I was sat promptly. I had the Sourdough Tartine - which was delicious. The eggs were poached to perfection, while the romanseco sauce was the star of the show. I washed it down with the homemade kombucha. For the quality of product the price seems reasonable. The servers were clearly amidst their lunch rush but were still personable. Would recommend :)“

“What a cool place. The place feels very modern and well kept. It has some good character too. The views are amazing. There is a very family feel here (not the penny pinching family feel, the care and attention type of family feel) Our server was great, friendly fun and attentive. Our food was great as well (the marinated sauteed mushrooms on my burger were phenomenal). Home made and fresh across the board. My wifes falafel wrap was on point as well. And the true test of a place... The fries were awesome! Well done Stickleback and staff. We will be back with our dog to enjoy the grassy area in the summer.“

“The food was super delicious, the soup was so crisp and fresh tasting, I love it. The katsu is so crispy and delicious and not tough at all. The takoyaki was great, crispy and hot! I got the loin set, and it was present nicely and had quite a bit of food. The bibimbap was very flavourful and yummy. Not a long wait, either. Staff was polite and quick with requests.“

“Mom's kitchen is amazing. She's a one woman show, and makes delicious food for you right then and there while you wait in Market Square. It's better to think of her as a permanent food truck than a restaurant (no indoor space)Her food is delicious, the portions are large, and the prices are very reasonable. Today because I waited in the misty cold she gave me a cup of soup and it was perfect!“

“Place looks a bit run down and needs an update, no one was inside and had me a bit worried, but the craving for jerk was stronger.Glad I did, the jerk chicken itself was great, tender and juicy, could be spicier, but the flavour is there. The sides and the rice left more to be desired, maybe sitting on hot plate too long.The beef patty was a bit dry, heated by microwave, but it was loaded.Overall it was good, I can see how it was on newspaper in the past being the best Jamaican on the island, still tastes good and I would try again.“

“The FreshCoast food truck was the first time I've ever seen and tried their food.Juan De Fuca Wrap was highly recommended for me to try first and now I can see why.Taking the first bite on the wrap was mind blowing Its been almost a year since I've discovered FreshCoast Health Food Bar and have been going almost twice to three times a week.The wraps,their bowls are fabulous as well their Hot Bowls (Vegan Yellow Coconut Curry,Vegan Chili).The Staff is excellent and extremely helpful to their customers when they can't decide what to order. I got the sense they wanted to make sure the customer is happy with their order and have a positive experience. The only small criticism and I mean small, is that some times the wraps will fall apart half way through. “I was always wondering about this place. Today I went and tried the pizza here and I was blown away the food here is amazing honestly one of the best places in town for sure. It may be a hole in the wall but it is dang good and well worth going to. The service was amazing and they were super friendly.“
