“It is Sunday night and our family made the last minute decision to order food instead of cooking. It's been a long day. After having just eaten the delivered pizza, I felt compelled to share how happy I am with this Domino's. From my phone order, to the delivery, to our surprised smiles when we opened the boxes, to just enjoying it now, I am actually blown away by how great an experience this was. I say blown away because buying inexpensive food, and sadly, pizza more often than not, feels like quite a gamble! We obviously were not looking to spend much on dinner, so I called to ask what their deals were for today. The woman who answered the phone and told me their special was friendly, courteous, and efficient. It seems like a lot of customer service we receive, in general, not from this place, is at best lack luster, at worst down right rude. Well, pleasant surprise tonight. The woman in the shop who took our order thanked me for 'being so nice' with a hint of a giggle in her voice. She said she'd just had a really rude customer. Didn't go into unnecessary details, just thanked me for being nice. I mention this because I feel that customer service people, maybe especially in the food industry, though I'm not sure about that, seem to be so affected by rudeness or lack of consideration from one customer encounter and allow that to taint all further customer encounters, be it for the day, or for the rest of the time they hold the position. For this woman to swiftly adjust from just having (possibly) been insulted by another customer to answering the phone with a fresh and friendly attitude is a real boon for this franchise. My impression is that they hire a solid work staff. Our pizza arrived, hot, within the stated 30 minute delivery wait time, and, while I only answered his call and didn't greet him at our door, my husband opened it, our impression of him was that he was very friendly. Another nice person! Management must be doing something right to keep these people happy. And if not, they were smart enough to hire happy people that reflect well on their business. Upon opening the box, our family agreed it was the best looking pizza we'd ever gotten from any Domino's anywhere. If we're having Domino's, we are typically in Kailua-Kona and Kona Brewery is having an event... The Domino's pizza there is not typically a first choice but does its job :). We don't go out of our way to order it. This pizza tonight was plentiful with cheese and toppings, 1 pep and olive and 1 pep and fresh garlic. And it tasted delicious! The sauce was good. The crust was good. It tasted fresh! It was so good that I really wanted to share our experience. Good work should be applauded. So, thank you, Solano Ave. Domino's, you gave us a great dinner and we will be ordering again and again.“

“We enjoyed excellent service! Our wait staff was knowledgeable took time to explain drink options and dish ingredients. The restaurant was aware of our food allergies and made dining suggestions.Select the deviled eggs w/candied bacon, the focaccia is served w/ the tasty butter and baked garlic. The broccolini is also another must-have dish, while the Cesar salad w/ fancy anchovies is a subtle savory treat.Parking: There were only a few disabled spots near the ramp to the restaurant. The ramp was on an upward grade. Going up was fine. Going down after sitting for an hour was a slight challenge.“

The pancakes are of course also classic and huge.Kid-friendliness: We've brought our baby here multiple times and never had an issue. “I was told Hot Sauce and Panko was the best place for wings in the city and now that I've tried it, I 100% agree! We ordered the Panko Chicken Sandwich with Buffalo Sauce (not pictured) and Chris', Al Pastor, Korean and Satay wings. The chicken sandwich was amazing!! 10/10 would re order. The chicken was thick but not dry and perfectly breaded. The wings were also great. My favourite was Al Pastor, the sauces reminded me of one of my favourite shawarma spots. I also loved the sweet honey flavour on the Chris' wings. The Korean and Satay wings were very flavourful but just too spicy for me. If you aren't the best with spice, I'd definitely recommend adding some ranch dip to your order. On my to do list next: trying the rest of the wing flavours!“

“I have come here twice in a month so that's saying something. I first ordered six wings, spicy korean flavor and a Mexic Style burrito. I got wings incase the burrito was on the small side. I had ordered jalapenos to put in the burrito as well. This place is across from where I work so they are quick with the online orders. The wings came with your standard celery, carrots, ranch. The burrito was huge and stuffed to the brim, no skimping on ingredients. I love that it had black beans in it and woah,, the jalapenos were in there, but raw so, you been warned. Flavor was so good. Today I ate my lunch of a tomato sandwich, early so I was a bit hungry when it actually came close to lunchtime. Didn't want anything big so thought of this quick place. Ordered ala carte,. 3 fried chicken legs and a side of small fries. It was ready in 10 minutes. Fried to perfection and the fries were they crinkly kind and topped with Cajun seasoning and came with a side of ketchup. i will be working through their menu...“

“This pizza place is amazing! I ordered a pizza to be sent to a friend after we had an argument as an apology pizza and they went above and beyond! I asked for them to write "I'm sorry" on a cheese pizza in any toppings they had and they wrote it in olives and it was so adorable! They texted me a picture of the pizza to make sure it was okay and called when they delivered it to my friend who was hysterically laughing when they got it. The main issue is there's been multiple times only one dude is there to serve a full bar -during a game- which can mean up to a 30min wait for a drink (even if it's your first and just a beer). We were even more surprised that the menu consisted mostly of comfort favorites. Co-owners Hi-Suk and San-Ju Dong have an extensive culinary background that wouldn't settle for a straight forward homestyle execution. We saw that with our first entree, the $28 Fried Chicken, which consisted of five tender, bone-in pieces lightly breaded and fried and served in a metal bucket accompanied by a slice of moist cornbread and a scoop of Asian-style cole slaw (photo: We decided to split the $19 #CBQ Burger, a fully loaded vegan burger made of chickpea, bulgur, quinoa, walnuts, and spices. “Love this place!! We use to go to the other location all the time but it's always so busy! Lemon pepper wings were so good! Crispy and tasty. Dry fried ribs and fries were 8/10 I wish the ribs had more meat. It was fatty and lots of big bone pieces. It's no my usual dry fried rib pieces that I'm use too. I wish the fries had more flavor or salt. We also got jambalaya fried rice, all for less than $40! I'll be back for the wings! They have so many flavor options. Staff is really nice. An art form. How do you bread it? What seasonings do you include? Is it crunchy enough? It's very serious friends. But lucky for anyone who visits New Golden Daisy, you better believe that the folks behind the counter know exactly what they're doing. I visited the biz next door first due to the line and it was shocking to me that New Golden Daisy didn't have a line going out their door as well. Once I was ready, I returned (with cash) ready to order. There's no seating, just enough space for guests to line up and peruse the options available. There was rice, noodles, chicken, duck in the window and so much more. None of the guests I saw going in and out before me were speaking English so I was afraid that I was going to embarrass myself when I got up there. A woman came from the back and gave me a big smile and gestured at me to order. I went with a half pound of wings, not knowing if I could/should order by the piece and not wanting to frustrate anyone. I feel like I barely blinked and she had scooped up my wings and tossed them into a cardboard container. Love it! And then she said it was only $5! With about 7 wings in the container, I think it was a good deal. Let me honest. As I was waiting on my lyft back to my hotel (I was tired y'all, pls don't judge me), I just couldn't imagine not trying these wings while they were hot. I would have given anything for a casual dining space, a chair, a lil stool, idk. But I didn't have that. So I ate a piece of the chicken while standing there waiting for my ride. Some people looked, some may have judged, but guess who was enjoying some of the most delicious, freshly-fried chicken in their life? Me. 5-stars. No notes. “My babies dad likes to take me here sometimes for something quick and good ,their fried fish ,shrimp ,and chicken is good very flavorful they’re greens are preening good too especially to be vegetarian they are very flavorful.
