“We tried a bunch of plates out between all the family, some plates we tried out were the am chowder, calamari rings, fish and chips, pulled pork sliders, sweet potato fries, asada fries and more I cannot remember the names of, but I did take pictures for your convenience. I also have all beers from the tap in pictures and videos.Overall, we were satisfied with service and portions that are OK for the prices.The staff was super friendly and quick, so I'd recommend you guys try them out.“

“I like this place. The food here is still pretty good. not as amazing as it was when it first opened but pretty good. I came for Saint Patrick's Day this year and the service was excellent. Everyone is so helpful and nice. Our party had a lot of fun. Our 1st shepherd's pie didn't have any meat in it but they brought us another one and it was great. I got an Irish coffee. They gave me a paper cup, only filled it halfway and it was luke warm when they gave it to me. I didn't complain. I just drank it. But why did I give that guy a $5 tip for that lame drink? idk, I guess I was feeling festive LOL. I should have asked them to remake it. I think that's a theme here. I will say the place is good even if it's not good on the first try. Lol. just have them remake it and it will be better. It's also a fun atmosphere and decent drinks.“

“I have been in many Cane restaurants with the same issues, dirty restrooms, floors with napkins, food crumbs, sticky, and unattended tables. But this location surprised me, restrooms were clean, spotless tables, the restaurant looked very well over all, the lady on the register was cleaning tables while there were no people on the line ! Excellent job, everyone ?“

“Made reservations ahead of time and was seated within a couple of minutes of arrival. Service and food were amazing. Ordered 4 dishes between 2 of us and must say that our favorite was the goat liver mousse. The crumpets that accompany the mousse were the star!Parking: Parking is along the street around the restaurant. May be difficult to find parking if coming during peak dinner hours. Some streets may be dark so be wary of surroundings.“

“We ordered the hippo bread, cauliflower, ravioli with clams and the hangar steak. All so delicious! The hippo bread is soft and sweet with that butter. The cauliflower is shareable and so good! The ravioli was fine and the hangar steak was slightly sweet and tender. Our waiter, Alejandro, was so attentive and answered all of our questions. He was fabulous! The kitchen is open so you can look and see which is always fun! Love the music, too! We walked past the restaurant but then I remembered it was by the pizza place so we circled back and found it. Can't wait to return!“

“The wait staff at the restaurant were friendly and attentive especially our server Noah. His service was excellent. He checked in often, answered all our questions about the menu and made sure we had a pleasant dining experience. The food was great especially the tomahawk steak with chimuchurri. “The service was great. The cocktail I had was really good. The food is very fresh. The shareables were perfect and very creative. We loved the biscuits especially. I had the best pork chops ever. The side dishes are perfect to share also. A hidden gem in the arts district of downtown. I highly recommend it.“

“Great atmosphere, definitely a nice date place. The service was great and friendly. I didn’t have a reservation but they were able to give me a seat at the bar. I ordered the onion soup and beef tartare. Supposedly onion soup is their signature dish, but it was really salty, I was a bit disappointed…. Because it was a $20 bowl of soup. The beef tartare was excellent, it would be nice if they offer one extra slice of bread and some more salad leaves. I was happy that they have half bottle of wine that I can order. Wine list is quite nice.“

“WOW. It was an amazing dining EXPERIENCE. We had a party of 9 which allowed for trying many items. The little Gem Salad was a complete surprise with unusual flavor combinations dancing in my mouth.The Crispy Rice and Iberico pork were my least favorites. Pork was a very small portion and dry. Crispy rice had great serving presentation however there were bits a little difficult to chew. Boy Choy and Bass were good but nothing stood out.Short rib was decadent, tender and absolutely delicious with an unexpectant surprise of fried rice made with the remaining bits from the table side serving.To top of the evening was the OUTSTANDING donut desert served in New Orleans flaming style with caramel, Macadamia nuts and pineapple.Cant wait to return. I daydream about the outing and Already have reservations to try other items and reorder my favorites.“

“Went to their Kentucky Derby party and it was SO much fun! A great selection of Southern themed foods, great bar selections, service, and wasn't too crowded so it was very enjoyable. Needed a little more seating, but we will definitely go again next year!“

“As a Filipino, I love the different concepts they have with different Filipino dishes. We started off with the beef tartar and pork belly sisig. All I could say was w o w. Beef tartar was amazing and I've never had a garlic sky flake before. The flavors complimented perfectly. I'm not usually a pork person, but their sisig was cooked to perfection! So much flavor and had the perfect crisp. For our main dish we had the chicken inasal. The chicken was sooo tender and fell right off the bone! We also ordered each one of their sauces and I can't even pick out my favorite. They all had their own unique flavor. I'm already thinking about my next visit at this restaurant. The ambience, the service, and the food are all 10/10. Highly recommend!!“

“We went for dinner before a concert without reservations and were able to dine at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable. The service was good and friendly, the cocktails were very good. The menu is very creative—my wife selected the striped bass with cannellini beans and I ordered the red beet carnaroli risotto. Both were very good. We also enjoyed the berry shortcake and rice pudding.“

“This was the first time dining at Joyce and I absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was great and food was amazing!! Everything we ate was so seasoned and delicious! We didn't wait long for our food. “I just hurt myself trying to finish the GF Detroit style... damn good pizza. I'm a "sauce man" and I would put there red sauce over pasta and bon appetit it; no questions asked. Great mozzarella (with that authentic salty milkiness) and quality toppings. If you're gluten free like me, this is the best pizza in LA hands down. Prior to my GF life, pizza was my favorite food group and I've eaten it all over. You can always tell a good pie by the components. There is a quality and style that goes into the pizza here. Canned sauce is disgusting and evident during the first bite at other shops. Once again, the sauce is great here. Park near Astro and walk over as that lot is not fun to try and get into or out of. I will be back“

“I dont want to be too critical - but to me this place was just ok.. i mean props on elevating , and putting a twist to Fil dishes. - but it was underwhelming, atleast for me. Ive had many filipino fusion, twist or watever u wanna call it. Iv had Kasama in Chicago, the first Filipino Michelin Star -- and maybe that was my standard... still good though , I wings sadly was my favorite.. kare kare was cool.. but more sauce and more bagoong wouldve been cool - but then again I think they played it safe - to cater to non Fils... now the Pancit Palabok - I dd not get the pasta filling -- it was shrimp supposedly - tasted more like a fish ball, meat ball texture.. it threw me of cus Palabok is mostly just noodles w sauce - and some shrimp if youre lucky , and chicharon.. it had a lil of palabok to it but again I didnt get the pasta filling -- Its a pop up vibe, it was dark like really dark, and was only 2 tables dining, it was also so the menu was super limited.. maybe il come for dinner next time.. but I saw the dinner prices , and its a lil too much , as people have said on yelp, so not sure if Il even go unless it comes about... give em a try , maybe Im just too bias cus of Kasama and also a yelper said, a non Filipino would enjoy it more -- server also gave us the wrong bill, not a big deal but considering there was only 2 tables there , it kinda messed up the vibe more lol .. but still 4 stars for support n the food wasnt bad so dont be discouraged.. check em out.“

“The food was amazing, but we felt really rushed which was disappointing when you’re eating a $200 meal. We drove up from San Diego specifically to go to a show and this restaurant. We decided to eat after the show so that we could take our time. I know it says they close at 9, and I’ve served before, but because it was such an expensive restaurant I assumed that just meant their last seating was before 9, as is the case at many nice places. We got there at 8:40 for our reservation, which again I normally wouldn’t do, but thought it was a last seating time, and although I requested outside when I made the reservation in advance, they said it wasn’t open. We’re very covid-cautious so it would’ve been nice if they’d emailed or called letting us know. We actually left the show early and wouldn’t have done that had we known. We reluctantly ate inside, but felt really rushed the whole time because apparently 9 is the actual closing time. Maybe it’s open table’s fault for allowing 8:45 reservations, but it wasn’t a $200 experience. The food and drinks were amazing though.“

“My girlfriend and I went to our second Valentine's dinner here last week. Not many places can pull off Valentines Day like Bistro 45 does. Everything came out timely and up to their usual standards. “Im super picky when it comes to Mexican food and let me tell you this place really does not disappoint. We waited a while for the food but you have to keep in mind that good food takes time and energy to make. I ordered the chilaquiles con mole and a side of papas, the chilaquiles were so delicious. The mole tastes amazing it’s not too sweet and has no bitter notes. Super filling. The papas are amazing they’re so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Will def be coming back, I personally really appreciate the ambiance in there it reminds me of eating in a home or in my dads down in MX. The people here really value and love food.“

“This place is like a wayyyyy better Panera with delicious sandwiches and salads. Also a lot of veggie options and customization in the app. This will become a fairly regular place for us after recent visits. The tofu banh mi is awesome and the salads have so much great tasting and healthy stuff in them. The Japanese chili dressing should be bottled! Definitely try this spot out.“

“This place was happening. Went here with some girlfriends and there were several large groups and parties happening. It's at the roof top of Proper Hotel in Downtown LA which is trendy and has a lot of international guests around. Central for bar or club hopping. Gorgeous city view and the food was good. “I have accidentally found the greatest toast in all of America. I was here to meet some friends for an event and thought I’d pop in for a quick bite. I ordered the avocado toast thinking it would be an unremarkable snack. Have you ever experienced something so above and beyond expectation you wonder if you’re on a hidden camera show? This toast is that good. Toppings were fresh, seasoning was on point, and the toast was perfectly soft but toasty. Also ordered the Michelle Wi which lemonade and black tea. Great atmosphere, really friendly staff, nice patio and neighborhood parking nearby. Would it be rude if I ordered another toast? Actually considering it.“

“I've been following the Chef Lemos' progress with development of this restaurant and after the success of Wax Paper I was really excited to try it. My wife and I stopped in for brunch on Sunday. Outdoor patio has a good deal of seating in the front and a lot in the back, but the front has a view of the river, which you can also hear occasionally when an obnoxious and pretentious woman isn't drowning everything else out (that's not a knock on the restaurant, just the hipster attitude of some people). The food and drink options are solid. I got the breakfast burrito which was excellent and my wife had the eggs 'n' curds which she enjoyed. The star of the meal was her brunch cocktail, the Superbloom which came at the suggestion of our server. My wife mentioned she could have enjoyed a pitcher of it, especially in the outstanding weather we had. Caution to driving in, however, the construction of several apartment buildings is a little potentially rough on your tires so be mindful. I look forward to returning for dinner in the future. “Delicious happy hour - the short rib tacos were delicious and the sliders were very solid. The alien pool party cocktails (not on the happy hour menu) are so stellar. Other good dishes include the dynamite tater tots and the Burrata and tomato salad.“

“First time trying this place, I brought my Aunt and wife for lunch and the ambiance is great open concept with heaters outside if it's cold but the decor is great also the music playing gets you in that relaxing mood. Service is all about the customers and if you have any questions everyone is willing to help. Menu is great because everything is made fresh and if you get the app while you are there, they have a point system and getting points also gives you certain items either free or on a discount. I got the app and in return we received free order of fries, they were delicious they also gave us free fried chips and pickles they made there and I'm not a fan of pickles but they might have changed that because I couldn't stop eating them. My wife and Aunt had the Southwestern chicken salad looked very good and I had the chopped chicken salad that was very tasty as well. To drink we all had the blackberry lemonade and it was very good. I can honestly say we will be back again and try other items on their menu. I didn't get to take pictures of my wife's and aunt's salad I was to busy eating mine, haha. Employees here are all about customer service, thank you for your service my family and will be back again!“

“We went for the Tomahawk Tuesday special, a great deal. We had the sliced Porterhouse (filet plus bone-in NY strip). They were out of the bone-in so offered us a regular NY strip instead, which was fine. It was cooked to perfection. Our waiter Chris was attentive, friendly, and funny. Our cocktails (Old Fashioneds and a PCH Vesper) were wonderfully mixed. It's unfortunate that they don't have any beer on tap for people who can't drink or don't like wine, although they have a small selection of bottles. It was a bit noisy at first and I had trouble hearing our waiter, but that's because it was a busy night. As it got later and the crowd thinned it was quieter. Salads, sides, and desserts were very good. This was our second time and we will come back again.“

Our server, I believe her name was Missy, was efficient, friendly, and, dare I say, playfully flirtatious. Her charm made this meal memorable in just about every way. “Amazing food, ambiance, wine, and staff! Tucked away on Holly St., a few blocks over from Colorado. Old town local vibe. Super chill. I've been trying new restaurants in the area and decided to pop in early on a Fri nite. Got a seat at the counter overlooking the chef preparing all the meals. Ordered a rose, very tasty. Short ribs with mash potatoes. Amazing! I will definitely be back to try more things. Highly recommend. We really don't have anything like this in Pasadena.“

“Granville was one of the first restaurants I've eaten at since movigto Pasadena 2 years ago. Each time I've gone, the service is always attentive and welcoming.The atmosphere is very trendy and I really do love the open layout overall. The food and drinks have always been a hit for me, I've tried almost everything on their menu and I haven't been disappointed. My go to cocktail is the cu cucumber martini, which is very refreshing! Definitely check them out if you're in the area. Very good for a date night or a group hang.“

“One of my favorite places to go. The food is always delicious and flavorful. Favorites have been the chimichurri grilled steak and the grilled chicken club sandwich. But I feel like everything on the menu is great. They offer vegan, vegetarian, gluten, or just protein options. Service is has been good, workers are always polite. “Pasadena and downtown this last fortnight. Nostagic deliciousness @parkwaygrill, peerless steaks. Returning there for the fourth time - our first visit was in 1994. Last night we enjoyed @majordomola . Koreanish food, at it's best generous and full flavoured. Standouts include the pork shoulder, duck confit rice and the flambe(d) doughnuts.Next time we'll try their signature rib dish too. Take an appetite and lots of family. Also loved Houstons. Beautiful restaurant with signature French dip sandwich @houstonsrestaurants“

“Holy cow I can't say enough wonderful things about AltaEats. Discovered them through their pandemic-era Roasties (cooked food to take home and eat) and we're still doing it with them now. The potatoes and green beans were so good last night (heaping portions!) that there were none leftover this morning for breakfast. The flank steak was cooked to absolute perfection. Their bread is the perfect complement to everything else. Highly recommended. Lovely people, too.“

“NO CASH ACCEPTED HERE -- first thing to know if you're coming here A pretty, little cafe that serves beautiful sandwiches that are as great to eat as they are to look at. My friend and I both ordered our own sandwiches and they each came with a nice side salad. Both dishes came with VERY fresh ingredients and I've been craving to return since I first tried it Smoked salmon bahn mi - 10/10. It was so tasty even though it wasn't anything like what a traditional bahn mi is like. The lettuce and mint used in the sandwich were crunchy and super fresh and the pickled jalapeños used added a nice dimension to the sandwich Side salad - 8/10. I would have enjoyed it more but it was much too drenched with oil/lemon (not sure what they use here. It was good regardless but the dressing used was overwhelming)“

“We've come here a few times and the food and drinks are generally pretty good. Decent ambiance and looks like it was originally a house that was converted into a restaurant. Making reservations can be a bit of a process. Rarely will someone pick up the phone, but there is a way to make reservations online through their website which does require a credit card deposit and for you to sign up with this reservations app. Some items on the menu are a bit overpriced as some other reviewers mentions, but we would definitely come back.“

“I arrived at the store after 11:30, prepared to wait, and there was a 40 minute wait, so I killed time at a nearby supermarket. The steak meat was tender and delicious, and while I was waiting, I ordered the antichokes that were grilled on the grill after seeing the reviews saying they were delicious, and they were really delicious. it's recommended. The store had a nice atmosphere, the front desk staff remembered my name after just one visit, and the floor staff were very kind. It's amazing that you can enjoy such great customer service and food at this price.“

“This bar has all the right games at any given time. Great place! Football playoffs were showing on every TV outside of the bar. Another the end. One maybe two screens were dialed to NASCAR. For the most part, Our server was attentive and she would ask us how are doing. Her instinct The menu was substantial. I choose the dip if I remember correctly. Awesome sandwich. The nacho were LOADED with various meats and copious amounts of cheese. Worth checking out if are visiting Whittier.“

“We enjoyed our meal. The service was top-notch and very friendly. Adrien, the manager, was wonderful and assured my friend that she could eat without fear of her allergies to nuts and shellfish. We both got burgers and fries-- mine was the veggie burger. I would eat there again.Vegetarian options: The veggie burger was the best I've ever had. Service is always friendly, just make sure you order at the bar as they won't come to you. But, they will deliver the food once the order has been placed. And, free and easy parking!“

“Really great spicy chicken. There's a small area for seating but you'll probably have to take it to go. The chicken is nice and spicy and a ton of flavor, the fries have a really good seasoning and their MC sauce is delicious! Can't recommend them enough.“

“Easily the best wine list in Alhambra and possibly the SGV and Pasadena area. If you're looking for a curated wine list with excellent European and American options served alongside a stacked food menu this is your spot. It's not cheap but the quality of the food and service is well worth the price. We've needed elevated dining in Alhambra for years and we finally have it with Yang's.“
