Went on lunch special hunting lately and finally decided to try the daily specials at savoy. The crab paste rice noodle soup Wednesday was pretty good, but the star was the oxtail stew on Friday. It's rich and meaty, I just wish it was stewed longer for more tender meat.
Had the hainan chicken with dark meat. Sauces were delicious! Server was super nice and refilled our sauce trays with generous amounts. We let her know we had a flight to catch and she helped get us fed and on our way quickly. We made the flight ? Thank you!!

The best Hainan chicken in sgv. I'd been making inquiries about where to find the best and this place always popped up. I was glad to finally try it, it was perfect. Also had the Malay beef stew, which was outstanding. Got a take out order of sausage and pepper pasta with the pizza bread.
