My son loves carrot cake, but he has always hated that many have raisins and pineapple. I live in Long Beach and I couldn’t find a local bakery that would exclude those two for him until I stumbled on The Shredded Carrot on Google. The Yelp reviews were really good and when I called the pleasant attendant said they could definitely exclude raisins and pineapple! I was delighted because I had called many places that said they couldn’t do that for us. I picked up my son’s cake yesterday and I was nervous because we had never had a cake from here. But man! Was it delicious! The Shredded Carrot went above and beyond with their service from my phone call to place the order, to the order promptness and taste! Worth the drive:)
