“the place looks like Dave Chappelle would dine here, I don't know who that is but sounds like a rich guy. the cakes specifically is what I've only have had here and they taste absolutely good, definitely worth all that money. the tres leches is my preferred choice. the lil speakers playing music while I wait to get inside makes me feel slightly richer than I am cause I'm at a fancy bakery or whatever this place is. all I know is that the food is dang delicious.“

“I highly recommend Yvonne‘s vegan kitchen. Yvonne has some of the best desserts, breads, and pastries that you can’t find anywhere else. I literally drive from Orange County all the way out to Pasadena because her desserts and bread are so amazing. Yvonne goes above and beyond and she is a very kind-hearted Soul and I would not want to put my money into any other business. “My son loves carrot cake, but he has always hated that many have raisins and pineapple. I live in Long Beach and I couldn’t find a local bakery that would exclude those two for him until I stumbled on The Shredded Carrot on Google. The Yelp reviews were really good and when I called the pleasant attendant said they could definitely exclude raisins and pineapple! I was delighted because I had called many places that said they couldn’t do that for us. I picked up my son’s cake yesterday and I was nervous because we had never had a cake from here. But man! Was it delicious! The Shredded Carrot went above and beyond with their service from my phone call to place the order, to the order promptness and taste! Worth the drive:)“

Many other Asian bakeries in the area no longer do their Mango cakes with actual fruit layered all over the top/outside--they just use mostly mango cream or mousse. This place also has breads, pastries, and a small frozen area with veggie baos and more.“

Very cute shop, service is excellent, presentation of cupcakes is excellent and they taste great too!I haven't tried their made to order cakes yet.They opened in 2013. “I am beyond pleased with the service, quality, presentation, and taste of the red velvet cake ordered from Merengue. It was my first time and will for sure be returning! They went out of their way to make sure the velvet cake is what I expected and delivered on time. I was told they normally don't include personal notes with their cakes but I needed one included letting the bday know who is was from since it was a surprise. They went the extra mile and agreed - something that seemed small but made a huge difference. Overall they were just awesome!“

“I came to this Baskin Robbins a few minutes before they closed and I was attended by the two young girls that were closing and they had such a positive and enthusiastic attitude! They welcomed me in with a very friendly tone and let me take my time deciding what I wanted. I ordered a Pralines n creme icecream bowl and it was sooo delicious! I love the ice cream here it's sometimes expensive but it's worth it. It was a treat to stop by! “Stumbled into this little coffee shop and bakery while walking along Colorado Blvd in Pasadena. Nearly missed it, but glad I didn't. You don't often find organic treats like these. I picked up a few boxes to share for Christmas with friends. The Lavender Teacakes, Lemon Teacakes, Persian Muffins, Matcha Cupcakes, Strawberry Cupcakes, and more! I also grabbed a latte and a quick treat for myself. So, my review is based on that treat, my latte, and my overall experience. Looking forward to trying out more of their treats in the future. The entire family loved them. My latte was decent not amazing but good enough to give a 5 star review based on the overall experience.“

“The team at this site performed admirably! I placed an in-person order for my cake and picked it up a few days later. I had shared a picture of my desired cake, they skillfully brought it to reality. The one setback was my desire for a smaller heart cake, but they don't take preorders for that size. The site is tidy, and the cakes are freshly prepared. I favor this place over the La Puente location on Hacienda Blvd due to the better handwriting and the availability of two fridge cakes here. 10/10 would order again !“

“If you go on the 31st of any month, you will get 31% off of your scoops. Even though it was raining heavily on New Year's Eve, off I went with my tribe to get scoops of ice cream. I got one single on a sugar cone. I turn around and the Prince has two scoops in a waffle. Not to be outdone, the Princess asks if she can get the same. Of course. All less than $15. No pictures. “We are very happy with our two-tier 8" + 10" Pink Pearls And Roses wedding cake. We had purchased a cake for $80 from Sweet Oak because the baker didn't offer samples. We tried to work with her to make modifications but that didn't work out, so we tried Lark Cake Shop because they offered free samples. John allowed us to sample as many flavors as we liked in the form of cupcakes which we picked up in their Silver Lake location. We learned that it truly pays to go with a baker that offers free samples. He said the bottom tier could be different from the top tier so we chose mocha as the bottom tier and berry shortcake as the top tier. The only frosting available was Italian buttercream, which luckily was our favorite. The cake was moist and the frosting was not too sweet; it was delicious and memorable.“
