My opinion, one of the best late night take out food in the area. Ordered the combo Rosé Theokbokki and Mayak Kimbap and it was very yummy. If you grew up loving yupduk Theokbokki but couldn't handle the spice and want to try something more creamy and sweet, this is the place yo. Also, price is not bad so COME ON!

I moved from the SGV to Upland and often come back for Hmart and other errands. This little spot is one of my comfort food faves I go out of my way to visit for kimbap and tteokbokki. So good!!

Tried their soondae sampler promotion. Soondae is sticky rice noodles cooked in pig blood stuffed in sausage skin. Not the tastiest actually. Seaweed wrapped deep-fry gimmari was quite delicious. The dumplings are just standard. Worth a try if you are new to Korean Street food.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND COMING HERE! Everything was delicious and workers were all very friendly. The soy garlic wings were by far the best I've had compared to countless other places for the uniqueness. It tasted very fresh and natural vs the dark glaze other places use. Rose tteokbokki was also super delicious with the perfect flavor and chewiness of the rice cakes. Pork mungbean pancake and pork belly were both again also very good and great portion size for the price. There wasn't a single bad dish here which is rare for any restaurant but they did it! Afterwards, in the same plaza you can treat yourself to dessert with either a Korean hot dog or mochi donut next door at Chung Chun!

Soonheene is my go to for mayak gimbap and rose tteokbokki!!! They are both always so amazing. The service is really good too. Today I decided to try the kimchi fried rice and i was blown away with how delicious it was. They give so much kimchi and the portion is huge!! I highly recommend. I will definitely order the rice again along with the gimbap and tteokbokki.

The rose spicy rice cake is indeed very pasta-like, very fragrant and delicious?? The kimbap is very refreshing and small, but the portion is sufficient. The best thing is the sauce that comes with it. The mustard flavor is super refreshing, and I am amazed at one bite. My husband and I are both Love it ~ Recommend it~ The fried chicken is crispy and the sauce is rich, the portion is larger than other restaurants, overall it’s great value
