The food was like someones mama made it in all the best ways. Delicious fresh tasting sauces. The green enchiladas made me happy. The new patio was comfortable. My wife said that the marguerita was top notch as well. Quality people and food.

We stopped in a year ago when they just opened. They didn't have their distillery up yet. We come to the area yearly so we stopped back in yesterday. The distillery was still not up. Perhaps in 2025? The bar tender was young and ignorant. I asked for a Jack and Coke and she said they don't have Jack. I asked what whiskey she would recommend and she suggested Captain Morgan...??♂️ My friend asked her a question regarding the mixers they use. She told my friend they don't make the particular flavor of mixture they were talking about. My friend literally creates and makes mixers for drinks for a living. Also, don't expect to order a blended margarita. The blender is for the kitchen not the bar.?

First time at this restaurant. Drinks were fantastic but pricey. Try the cucumber mint margarita! So good I needed two. ?. Tortillas were great in my enchiladas, beans were terrible, tasteless. Next time I will have drinks and appetizers. Wait staff was wonderfully attentive.

Looking forward to going back and trying menu items. I loved the crunch of their chips and I felt the salsa had the right amount of heat to it. I took my leftovers home and this may seem like a small thing to most, but the rice reheated perfectly, tasted fresh and the texture was as if it was just made. That never happens with leftover rice.

California Tacos Cantina and Distillery serves delicious entrees with beautiful presentation. Their Chile Verde was delicious with just the right amount of spice. I loved their Chile Relleno with fluffy eggs and cheese. The spicy Camarones a la Diabla was yummy! I would order all again. The service was excellent and they accommodated our large party with separate checks. The ambiance is industrial with a family friendly flare.

MOST FRIENDLY STAFF!! Came with a party of 20+ for dinner and let us order from the lunch menu. All staff made sure we were accommodated at all times. The food was amazing and easily will leave you perfectly stuffed after. The ambiance is quite cozy and cute. Although the restaurant is small, there is an amazing energy throughout the restaurant. Stopped in for dinner on a road trip home from SFO. While we didnt get a chance to try the home made spirits, we did completely enjoy some really good tacos. The service was great, and although they were moderately busy on a Wednesday night, we were seated right away. We will return the next time we are in Buellton.

We asked our hotel for a good Mexican restaurant and were sent here. We expected traditional Mexican fare, yet that was not so much the case. There were quite a few seafood dishes, which is not our thing. We had the Filet Minon fajitas, and they were excellent! The flavors blended well, and the meat was very tender and flavorful. This is a place we recommend.
