“The food here had a unique twist to Thai food. We had fresh summer rolls, and I dare say they are one of the better rolls I have had. They were colorful, had mint background, and the peanut sauce complimented it. Pad thai was one of the most unique versions I have come across, and it was moist, creamy, and hit my palette with tamarind and light spice. Recommend this dish. Also, order the eggplant with was well spiced, not too spicey, and melted as I ate it. The pork soup was well flavored, and my mother loved it! The host and waitress were too notch. Thai tea was uniquely flavor leaving me wanting it daily”

Locals know about it so if you are in town and are looking for somewhere nice to eat that’s mellow and great for the kids this is where you can find Solvangs hidden gem ?

I always get a 12oz filet mignon medium and a baked potato along with a raspberry margarita..

“Great little Mexican restaurant not far off the freeway off-ramp. Good menu both of food and drink options. English & Spanish spoken. Cash & credit cards accepted.Their Tequila Nachos are good - very generous with the cheese. The steak option was very flavorful and tender and diced into very easy bite-sized pieces. Large dollop of guacamole on top and drizzled with sour cream. Definitely great to share or for a very hungry person! They have a nice little salsa bar with pickled jalapenos and onions, as well as diced red onions, cilantro, pico de gallo and several salsa options ranging from extremely mild to a habenero sauce with a good kick to it.Beers, margaritas and sodas available (both Mexican bottled Coca-Cola or basic American soda fountail Coke). Casual environment.

Vegetarian options: You can order things without meat (like the nachos) but clearly meat (chicken & beef) is at the forefront here.

“My favorite place to eat Chinese food! The service and quality are amazing. The restaurant is clean, we always get seated immediately, and pricing is fair and reasonable. They easily accommodate groups without notice. The atmosphere could be better...maybe different lighting and it feels a bit like a cafeteria, but the food and service are just spectacular. I will support this business as much as possible.

“It's been a number of years since we were here last but very little has changed and the food and staff are as wonderful as ever. The Hitching Post 2 BBQ has been in Buellton, CA for over 35 years cooking over the same oak fired grill. While locally renowned, its location for scenes and ties to the movie Sideways added to its already following. A varied menu with lots of choices and most everything is cooked on their very large and open, oak fired grill. Aaron was a great server and had the numerous specials memorized to perfection. A relish-tray, garlic bread, soup or salad and your choice of starch are included. Never have had a poor meal or poor service. They are busy and reservations are a must even if you are dining early (closed Tuesdays). The have a great winery with their own label and have added a tasting room next door that also does a simple lunch menu Monday-Sunday. I will say it is looking a little worn and in need of a little TLC here and there but the food and service remain as good as ever.”

“My absolute favorite from there is a Mexican chocolate iced coffee it’s the yummiest treat EVER! They make the best and always smile! The owner I believe, Jen, helped me through two of the hardest days of my life back in 2019&2020. She’s an angel. 2020 I came through to get my fav coffee& a pup cup and big milkbone for my 15 yr old pup that day 04/28/20 was the day I had to help her get her angel wings, I will forever be grateful to Jen and her staff. I miss the Coffee Cabin I live in mid East now and when I visit I’ll be going there first! Tysm Coffee Cabin & sorry for the long review!”

“We catered mini desserts (bars + cupcakes) plus a small 2-tier cake for our wedding a few weeks ago and were so pleased! The cake was absolutely delicious and, while we didn't personally try all the desserts, our guests were raving about the desserts - especially the brownies, lemon bars and blueberry pie bars. They were very easy to work with and could easily adapt almost all desserts to gluten free versions that were equally as delicious. Would highly recommend!”

“I've been through Buellton many times and have heard of Taco Roco but have never experienced it. The food was very good. I got the carnitas platter and it was huge!The chimichanga plate was good and very filling.If it wasn't for the owners having a loud vocal argument it would have been better. Good thing I was alone and know Spanish.....it was interesting ?”
